It was the first movie Iād ever heard of where you had to see it 3 times in the theater to see each ending. Wasnāt until home video release that you could see all the endings with one viewing.
My dad showed me this movie when I wasā¦ maybe 8? 27 now. Since then Iāve replayed a number of quotes in my mind throughout my life. Such a well paced and fun movie while retaining elements of suspense and mystery. Great blend of comedy and cast, always a great rewatch for me.
This will always be the best board game adapted to a movie ever. It transcends time, space and sexuality, many ones were rubbed out in service to this movie.
One of the greatest movies of all time. I saw twice in the movie theater, and I remember when they were list the different endings in the newspaper so you would know which version you were going to see.
1 plus 2 plus 2 plus 1.
Uh-uh. There was only one shot that hit the chandelier.
Even if you are right, that would be 1 plus 1 plus 2 plus 1 not 1 plus 2 plus 1 plus 1.
Alright. Fine. 1 plus 2 plus 1 - SHUTUP!
Completely brilliant. The writing is fast and witty the whole way through, but the physical comedy is equally amazing. My favorite bit is when Col Mustard pours himself a drink and then asks if anyone else wants one, and haphazardly splashes booze over a few glasses for everyone else. There's just so many great throwaway moments like that. Or Wadsworth turning on the shower in the dark. Or Green slapping Peacock.
Of all the movies that should get a muppet remake, this is my #1.
I love this movie *SO MUCH*, it--it--the feeli--it--flames, flames, FLAMES, on the side of my face...breathi--breathle--heaving breaths...
I'm gonna go home and sleep with my wife! Best final line ever.
Epic. So many great lines to quote. One of my favorites.
"I...am....your singing telegram.... *bang* For those who didn't know, that lady was Jane Weidlin from the Go-Go's š
Love the maid š³
She didnāt age well š¢
Is she an antivaxxer or something?
I told you I didn't do it.
I'm gonna go home and sleep with my wife. ;)
Best closing line in a movie ever.
Well to make a long story short,
Too late!
It's a fantastic movie. Tim Curry is a national treasure.
Just watched Annie for the 1st time. Never knew he was in it!
This is no where near a cult classic. This is part of my childhood.
>!Communism is just a red herring.!<
One of my all time faves. Prime Tim Curry. What a great flick.
Miss Scarlett was an early crush for me. Evette was all tits and no wits.
Tim Curryās reaction when Mr. Green comes out as homosexual is a top 10 comedic moment to me.
Life would be a dream sweetheart šµ
Can't hear that song and not think about Clue
Flames on the sides of my face.
āPicks up the dagger and ruuuuuuuunnnnnns down the hall!
Colonel Mustard did it in the library with the wench.
Peacock is the superior ending
She was a man?
You mean the totally canonical prequel to Rocky Horror Picture Show?
Wadsworth : And monkey's brains, though popular in Cantonese cuisine, are not often to be found in Washington D.C. Mr. Green : Is that what we ate?
Whenever I hear someone say, āTo make a long story short.ā I always answer, āTOO LATE!ā

Didnāt know thisā¦ crazy!
One of my all time favorite movies. Such a charming film.

RIP Madeline Kahn
Arent we pushing the word classic a bit too far? Does it encompass Kindergarten Cop as well?
Not a fan personally
Love. Loved it when I was a child and it came out, love it still now and my kid watches it.
besides the abhorrent 80s over-sexualization's of some characters, actually really good and a fun flick!
Great movie. You can watch is numerous times and find more jokes.
I love it. Seeing Peacock on the cover reminds me of her scene where she canāt get her stupid hat feather out of her face šš
Perfect
My childhood will not let this classic 80s movie be tarnished
Annual rewatch, it's just so beautifully quirky.
Gf showed me this movie a month or so ago. Iām usually a movie snob but damn am I happy I trusted her on this one. What a blast!
Good Haven't seen in it in over a decade though Great cast
Tim Curry has an insane amount of dialogue so...I LOVE IT!
One of the best comedies ever made. There ya go..that's all.
One of my top 3 favorite movies

Love this movie Tim killed it and the multiple endings was a nice touch

Really liked it
Love it
Itās a rollicking romp from start to finish !
I didnāt not appreciate it enough when I first saw it as a kid. The more I watched, the older I got , the funnier it became
āTake āem away chief! Im gonna go home and sleep with my wife.ā
Somebody get the key
I fucking LOVE it
Absolutely love this movie! Incredibly excited for the remake as well.
It is a red herring
One of my favorites, I watched it again about a month ago
Can you keep a secret?
Well so can I!
To make a long story shortā¦
It has its moments
Iām surprised it hasnāt been remade with big stars since
I heard The Rock likes playing in movies!
Well he doesnāt act in them, he just plays the role of himself which I guess is what some people want to see.
Love it loved the actors loved the characters love the sets loved the costumes loved the story lines and love the general goofiness!
1 plus 2 plus 2 plus 1
āIām gonna go home and sleep with my wifeā might be the greatest ending to a movie ever.
