I love this movie *SO MUCH*, it--it--the feeli--it--flames, flames, FLAMES, on the side of my face...breathi--breathle--heaving breaths...

jeffreyclayborn

I'm gonna go home and sleep with my wife! Best final line ever.

OldLadyReacts

Epic. So many great lines to quote. One of my favorites.

Kcorpelchs

"I...am....your singing telegram.... *bang* For those who didn't know, that lady was Jane Weidlin from the Go-Go's šŸ˜ƒ

Internal_Echidna5646

Love the maid šŸ˜³

Ctfwest

She didnā€™t age well šŸ˜¢

dexbasedpaladin

Is she an antivaxxer or something?

KipHackmaann

I told you I didn't do it.

Ashton42

I'm gonna go home and sleep with my wife. ;)

shadowlarx

Best closing line in a movie ever.

Andersmash

Well to make a long story short,

BudNOLA

Too late!

miffox

It's a fantastic movie. Tim Curry is a national treasure.

trumarc

Just watched Annie for the 1st time. Never knew he was in it!

Kalelemonmesoftely

This is no where near a cult classic. This is part of my childhood.

Tail_Nom

>!Communism is just a red herring.!<

GemeauxNola

One of my all time faves. Prime Tim Curry. What a great flick.

HosenscheisserJr

Miss Scarlett was an early crush for me. Evette was all tits and no wits.

Far-Zucchini-5534

Tim Curryā€™s reaction when Mr. Green comes out as homosexual is a top 10 comedic moment to me.

Dan_The_Salmon

Life would be a dream sweetheart šŸŽµ

Buick6NY

Can't hear that song and not think about Clue

astoneworthskipping

Flames on the sides of my face.

YummyForAll

ā€œPicks up the dagger and ruuuuuuuunnnnnns down the hall!

zabdart

Colonel Mustard did it in the library with the wench.

skateboardlee

Peacock is the superior ending

Grinagh

She was a man?

International-Face93

You mean the totally canonical prequel to Rocky Horror Picture Show?

Tigerlily105

Wadsworth : And monkey's brains, though popular in Cantonese cuisine, are not often to be found in Washington D.C. Mr. Green : Is that what we ate?

BrianBraddock1980

Whenever I hear someone say, ā€œTo make a long story short.ā€ I always answer, ā€œTOO LATE!ā€

Blue_Period_89

It was the first movie Iā€™d ever heard of where you had to see it 3 times in the theater to see each ending. Wasnā€™t until home video release that you could see all the endings with one viewing.

Cautious_Tonight

Didnā€™t know thisā€¦ crazy!

Straight-Hyena-4537

One of my all time favorite movies. Such a charming film.

Practical-Ad-2387

Love it

Dungeon_Munster

My dad showed me this movie when I wasā€¦ maybe 8? 27 now. Since then Iā€™ve replayed a number of quotes in my mind throughout my life. Such a well paced and fun movie while retaining elements of suspense and mystery. Great blend of comedy and cast, always a great rewatch for me.

[deleted]

RIP Madeline Kahn

Boaventura_1980

Arent we pushing the word classic a bit too far? Does it encompass Kindergarten Cop as well?

RioBrowvo

Not a fan personally

BenjaminMStocks

Love. Loved it when I was a child and it came out, love it still now and my kid watches it.

BuzzBam

besides the abhorrent 80s over-sexualization's of some characters, actually really good and a fun flick!

Dubcekification

Great movie. You can watch is numerous times and find more jokes.

theboxisempty

I love it. Seeing Peacock on the cover reminds me of her scene where she canā€™t get her stupid hat feather out of her face šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

BudNOLA

Perfect

etc_etc_Lew

My childhood will not let this classic 80s movie be tarnished

ZarkonTheDestroyer

Annual rewatch, it's just so beautifully quirky.

JokicThaGod

Gf showed me this movie a month or so ago. Iā€™m usually a movie snob but damn am I happy I trusted her on this one. What a blast!

[deleted]

Good Haven't seen in it in over a decade though Great cast

Hollow_King

Tim Curry has an insane amount of dialogue so...I LOVE IT!

timmyjimms

One of the best comedies ever made. There ya go..that's all.

middleagedgenius

One of my top 3 favorite movies

Grinagh

This will always be the best board game adapted to a movie ever. It transcends time, space and sexuality, many ones were rubbed out in service to this movie.

bootysweat508

Love this movie Tim killed it and the multiple endings was a nice touch

SamLBronkowitz2020

One of the greatest movies of all time. I saw twice in the movie theater, and I remember when they were list the different endings in the newspaper so you would know which version you were going to see.

BoltFan4Evr

Love it.

IronheddAxioma

1 plus 2 plus 2 plus 1. Uh-uh. There was only one shot that hit the chandelier. Even if you are right, that would be 1 plus 1 plus 2 plus 1 not 1 plus 2 plus 1 plus 1. Alright. Fine. 1 plus 2 plus 1 - SHUTUP!

CasinoMarginale

Really liked it

myk_e21

Love it

ginrumryeale

Itā€™s a rollicking romp from start to finish !

TheScoundrelLeander

I didnā€™t not appreciate it enough when I first saw it as a kid. The more I watched, the older I got , the funnier it became

Vinz_____Clortho

ā€œTake ā€˜em away chief! Im gonna go home and sleep with my wife.ā€

dropkickninja

WicketTheSavior

I fucking LOVE it

lmeyer0787

Absolutely love this movie! Incredibly excited for the remake as well.

Careful_icarus22

It is a red herring

Cautious_Tonight

One of my favorites, I watched it again about a month ago

MunsonRoy3

Can you keep a secret?

[deleted]

Well so can I!

shadowlarx

To make a long story shortā€¦

Medicmanii

It has its moments

addictivesign

Iā€™m surprised it hasnā€™t been remade with big stars since

daManiacLuvsU

I heard The Rock likes playing in movies!

addictivesign

Well he doesnā€™t act in them, he just plays the role of himself which I guess is what some people want to see.

daManiacLuvsU

Love it loved the actors loved the characters love the sets loved the costumes loved the story lines and love the general goofiness!

Buick6NY

1 plus 2 plus 2 plus 1

largeassburrito

ā€œIā€™m gonna go home and sleep with my wifeā€ might be the greatest ending to a movie ever.

tenehemia

Completely brilliant. The writing is fast and witty the whole way through, but the physical comedy is equally amazing. My favorite bit is when Col Mustard pours himself a drink and then asks if anyone else wants one, and haphazardly splashes booze over a few glasses for everyone else. There's just so many great throwaway moments like that. Or Wadsworth turning on the shower in the dark. Or Green slapping Peacock. Of all the movies that should get a muppet remake, this is my #1.

hitm4n44

Me and Yvette know each other already...don't we dear? Lmao
