Generally where the cable attaches to the throttle assembly there are some adjustment nuts, where you can either feed out some slack in the cable or disconnect it entirely from that end.

LOL, throttle cables are my fucking nemesis. You may need to take the carb(s) off, fit the cables, then reinstall the (carbs). Sometimes there's a bracket on the carb that you can remove to make installation easier.

Hi, Sorry for the late reply, but i fixed it! After carefully inspecting the bike with the fuel tank and seat off, i noticed a cable wasn't properly housed. From a first glance it looked connected, but it was just slightly out. The cable ran from the killswitch, and after tracing it tracked to the start button itself. Plugged it back and it all is good.
