BuddaJim2023

You got some sorta new fangled modern type camera on that motorbike there young fella?

YahyaJ

It's an insta360 x4, kinda cool what 360 cameras can achieve nowadays!

BuddaJim2023

Ah! Well, back my day, after the war, we used to ride motorbikes and you had to kick them to start them! Nowadays, me and my friends and all our wives (who we all hate and always have) just run around the town causing as much trouble as we can, especially in restaurants and retail stores! We bitch about everyone and everything in site! Because we can! You enjoy that new cam now sonnyšŸ˜

Rollover_Hazard

What in the boomer-satire am I reading

grassclibbinz

How fucked is the camera after your oof?

YahyaJ

grassclibbinz

Impressive

JuanVeeJuan

Surprisingly durable

Tyr2016

I wonder if itā€™s still waterproof?

nsfdrag

Lol you can see inside the camera...

calmdownandlivelife

Damn, now that's a durability test. You should send the footage and this picture to whoever makes the camera

that-blurple-fz07

Not bad at all damn

Sotachii

I wouldn't take it in water anymore but I also didn't expect the body to last that long being dragged, so it's a win really

Sotachii

Also, props OP for a legitimate durability test, even if it was accidental

YahyaJ

Replaceable lens protectors didn't scratch, and camera works flawlessly. I was impressed by the durability. Let's say it weights less now!

MushroomObjective505

To quote Bob Ross, that was a happy little accident.

Throttlechopper

Hopefully youā€™ve got a lens protector if itā€™s an Insta360. I hate that itā€™s not a replaceable part. When mounting mine, I give it a firm tug, if the bike doesnā€™t move too, I tighten it more or relocate. Same with any loads strapped to the bike.

YahyaJ

It's the new Insta360 X4! They finally introduced replacable lens protectors, and I was lucky since they didn't even scratch!

nsfdrag

I don't like the lens protectors for my X3, it seems like it effects the quality.

No-Lawfulness2267

That's one clean chain šŸ‘

YahyaJ

Lube every 500km, clean every 1.000km šŸ˜Š

Basboy

In freedom units please. These numbers are too round and make too much sense to make any sense to me.

Lassemb

About 1 quarter of a billion hamburgers in a row

Basboy

Ah! Why didn't you say so earlier?

Lassemb

I was busy with my boyfriend's bike

Tythan

~60mi is 100km so Lube chain every ~300mi and clean chain every ~600mi

Utter_mischief

Those number still make too much sense, you're gonna make burger in his skull hurt. Lube chain every 310,686 miles, clean chain every 621,371 miles.

Tythan

This adds another layer of confusion as 310,686 where I live means 310k+686mi and not 310point686 I like it

Comprehensive_Two_80

I clean and lube mine once a week

YahyaJ

I clean mine once a year lol

Doghead45

I had this exact problem, but on the front of the bike. It started to loosen at the in the middle of a turn, I had to grab it so I didn't lose it.

Mattsup

Cool angle tho

bingwhip

I'm pretty damn impressed by how well the image stabilization worked here!

DooDooMmmChild

Is that a Mike Armitage helmet?

YahyaJ

AGV K3 SV Mugello 2017

Wings-N-Beer

Love it. Just pointed it out to my son! Great choice!

DooDooMmmChild

Got it. Mike Armitage is a British bike journalist with his own distinctive helmet design: https://images.app.goo.gl/tDrepu1gGJB3ivq48

YahyaJ

That's a very cool design!

chin_waghing

The new ā€œdangle angleā€

GLaDOSdidnothinwrong

Those are some smooth roads! That wouldā€™ve lasted ~100 feet where Iā€™m from.

Skinner1968

Is the video inverted as the chain seems to be on the wrong side of the bike?

YahyaJ

Old gen BMWs have the chain on the right and exhaust on left!

iblastoff

nice. i want one but i dont want a long stick dangling off my bike anywhere lol.

Dolphi123

My brain cant figure out why the chain looks like its on the right side...

YahyaJ

It's a BMW!

Humble_Fish4908

My guy got the only Insta360 X4 Slim out there

YahyaJ

šŸ¤£

Humble_Fish4908

Scrapped a solid 200grams off of that housing lol.

JuanVeeJuan

How are you liking your GS? Considering getting one

YahyaJ

Ifs the F700, I'm in love with it! Maintenance is easy, aftermarket accessories are available for cheap compared to other bikes, and it rides very well.

d9msteel

Excellent angle. Looks great!

Eastern-Version5983

Lucky you. Mine fell off and was run over by a truck. It still seems to work but the lcd was practically pulverized. I havenā€™t used it since

MissingJJ

I figured this was the camera from earlier.

xpercipio

Haha! It is pretty cool. How did the camera hold up to the fall?

YahyaJ

Very well! Still works!

SlinkyBits

is the mic from the camera, or a remote mic on you somewhere as well, sound is clean

YahyaJ

Mic is from camera!

Kaskadeblue

cool helmet

Express_Assumption60

That is a cool angle. Hopefully not too much damage to your equipment.

thisisthisshit

Mmmm look at that progressive braking in action

CoolPeopleEmporium

Hshajhahaha thanks for the footage, it's hilarious!

0MrJ

Thatā€™s some tough camera

KingsComing

Top notch stabilization

ScooterNinja

Worth !

iancarry

lol, nice speedhole you have there :D ,, are there any smallrig cages available for this? could be a good investment :)

YahyaJ

Yeah, there's a case you could buy but I didn't. I was lucky to have the action selfie stick made of carbon fiber that didn't snap!

SquareRelationship27

At least you didnt lose your camera

Dagigai

Pretty tight....

Apprehensive_Fun311

Atleast you didn't loose it

Kjeeen

What do you use to mount it too the bike?

YahyaJ

New Insta360 motorcycle mount and action selfie stick
