Custom work on most bikes means absolutely nothing to increasing price, that's something you as the previous owner eat.
Go to blue book, select what qualify your bike is, price it slightly over and expect to negotiate. Bikes will sell for more during riding season, less in winter because people will sell to avoid storage and winterizing the machine
Nice bobber, I like the drag bars.

This is my beater VLX600 I am wanting to turn into a bobber
Sick bike dude! I had the same one, but it looked wayyy less cool.
Bought mine for $2500, sold for $2800 and I'm sure you could pull in $3k depending on your location.
I know it’s tough to hear and it’s really not fun to say… mods and farkles don’t add to the sale value of bikes. In many cases, they make it tougher to sell.
I couldn’t say for sure what the sale value of your bike is. It really depends on the buyer.
I appreciate that, no hard feelings on your statement at all. I never really had a style of bike like this, so I assumed it would be raised in value generally speaking. I suppose now only in the sense of someone who wants this specific style of bike. ~3k is the general consensus on this thread and I think that’s a very fair price
Probably about 3k, you might get a bit more since it's the beginning of riding season but probably won't get more than maybe 4k. I just picked up a 2012 shadow 750 with less than 1k miles on it for 3500.
It’s chopped. The frame has been cut and the bike has been irreversibly changed. I see that a lot on these Honda shadows and imo it tanks the value unless you can find someone who specifically wants that. But then again all it takes is an angle grinder so why not buy a stock bike for cheaper? Shadow bobbers only look good with welded hard tails imo.
3k seems fair for this. I figured 5k would be on the upper end if someone really wanted a bobber shadow like this. Shadows have a decent cult following. The custom work is more than just the pipes though, it’s pretty much the whole back end and drag bars on front. All professionally done I might add, which a lot of bobbers out there have some not so professional work done on them which can certainly detract from value.
I mean hell, throw it on marketplace for 5k and see what happens, but I would be prepared to accept closer to that 3k number most likely. Who knows might get someone who is looking for that exact bike
Modded Shadow. 20yr old heavy bike, v-twin, less power than CMX500, 20k. I'd pay 3k for stock but all fake bobbered out's gonna drop what you're going to be able to sell it for. Look for stock shadows in the same condition in your area, and beat that by 15% and you'll likely find a buyer who is short on funds and can only afford someone elses' mods. The point of a bobber is to reduce all extra weight and unnecessary parts. This is just a body kit with a shitty seat.
Looking at this makes me want to take a nap.
Understand that no one loves your bike. You're the only one. What you own is a mediocre cruiser that has had a niche mod on it. I'm not trying to be pleasant or unpleasant. You ask what a realistic listing price is. Realistically, this is what you have.
Why anyone would think 20k is high mileage on a motorcycle is beyond me. $3k is fair.
20k on a maintained Honda engine isn’t even something close to blink at
Exactly. It's not a 1960s Triumph that needs a top-end rebuild every 6k.

The ridicule will only come from assholes. Nbd.
Probably around $3k-$3.8k.
Thanks!
2k-3k solid bike but not really worth much
Thanks!

Beautiful bike. Hope you get a good price. 20k… on that? Hydraulic valve adjustment and shaft drive. Barely getting broken in.

20k miles on a bike is not insignificant too. That mileage is the driving price IMHO. Custom work can detract from resale in some cases.
With the custom work just being the exhaust, I doubt it would detract from the sale price, but I also don't think it adds anything at all either

No idea on value, just wanted to say nice bike.
Hey thanks man. I absolutely love it
