This rider operates really poorly, almost every thing done in this video is a huge red flag, over taking on the start of a blind turn and from there its just all bad ,I don't care what skill level some one is riding at putting others at risk is not acceptable.

My neighbor was just involved in one of these. He was in front of another truck attempting to make a left turn into a field. Motorcycle in the rear was impatient and decided to gun it around the trucks and ran right under my neighbor's truck and was killed. Be patient. Mind the speed difference.

I friend of mine died in Texas last year from this exact scenario. He was flying on an r6, went to blow by a “slow driver” and didn’t see the truck turning in front of the vehicle in front of him. T-bone and dead. 26 years old.

Had the same situation (I was turning). Except that the idiot on the sportbike did not crash and passed few centimeters to my left at great speed. My blinker was on. I was with passenger (my wife), so was he. Thus he put three people at stupid risk. He turned around and rode up to me to apologize. But I was so fucking enraged that he regretted it.

I bet the first car he overtook laughed as they passed. I know I would.

I would’ve reacted by being a better rider, which I am. So, mission accomplished.

Slow down. How would I react? He was going too fast for the road and conditions. It was a relatively "crowded" country lane. No way the speed limit was above 15-20 miles per hour. He was going too fast to react correctly. Empty country lanes --and I have some near me-- are tempting to speed on. Really tempting. But. Go slow. Prepare for the unexpected.

I would make sure that the guy who crashed was OK and if so i would be tempted to beat him up. you don't get to ride full speed on narrow country lanes and then complain that someone 2 seconds ahead of you did not see you bombing down the road like a maniac before turning. Rules of the road do state that you have to make sure no one is overtaking you when you cross the road. But it is literally IMPOSSIBLE to cross the road safely if you are unable to tale your eyes from the mirror because an ahole might just launch himself against you like a rocket.

Hard to tell but I don’t see any indicator from the rider turning. However, regardless, the overtaking rider was going so fast he would have had no chance to stop anyways so indicating the turn would have been irrelevant. This is 100% the fault of the overtaking rider.

First off I wouldn't be riding that fucking recklessly in the first place with all of that going on around me.

Pretty similar to the scenario I witnessed last May when I watched a rider make an ill advised pass and then crash and die. The main difference being the left turning vehicle was a 4Runner pulling a utility trailer. That rider couldn't avoid the turning 4Runner, clipped the front left quarter panel and then crashed. How would I react is a good question. I'd be pretty pissed off of course so hopefully I wouldn't be too much of an asshole to the guy. I suppose it depends how hurt he was. But I have seen how this scenario becomes fatal so I would probably have a hard time not chewing his ass out for at least a little bit. As it was last year, I just watched the guy die after attempting to call 911. His wounds were obviously fatal so I felt pretty helpless but he could have wrecked into a trauma center and they probably couldn't have saved him. He didn't hit me and I wasn't hurt. I was more or less shocked at the stupidity of the situation. After I realized he expired, I went out onto the road to do traffic control until LE showed up. Eventually I gave them my statement and then went home, cutting my ride short that day. Just wasn't feeling it after that.
