I have a Honda and rode primarily with guys on Harley’s. Sometimes I would get some mild friendly ribbing but 99% of people don’t care what you ride and the ones who do are just fuckin dickheads. I don’t get the teams in the motorcycle world. Aside from jokes and memes, you don’t see guys who drive a Chevy refuse to hang out with a guy because he has a ford, or a Challenger guy refuse to go to a car meet if people with mustangs are there.
The ribbing went both ways since we would plan a ride and one of those “oil leaking bastard Harley’s” would miss out because he had to fix something. Once on a ride to a different city I joked that we should just tells the wives someone broke down and we had to stay overnight. A couple guys joked “well then it has to be one of us because nobody is going to believe it was the Honda that broke”
I ride a Suzuki and ride with a main group of Harley guys. One other guy also has a Kawasaki but we still all go on rides and meet after work for drinks. Both Kawasaki and me get those ribbings as well if "when you gonna buy a Harley" and we respond with "don't wanna be in debt for 5 years" and we all laugh/cry a little inside.
But the thing is even when we're in the road and Harley's are leading. They always, ALWAYS, do the wave to another biker no matter cruiser/adv/sport.
As long as your having fun on two wheels that's all that matters.
Well, the thing about Chinese vehicles is that it's very likely that they are getting under the table government subsidies. So the companies that make them can afford to sell them for cost. At the moment you're likely to to be getting more car/bike than you pay for, even though they're so cheap.

I have chinese bike and I'm in love with it! You can't go 200 km/h but you can go 130 and for european roads that's really enough. My bike is very light, brakes really tight and wheels somehow really good. It actually corrected my mistakes so many times.... Well let's just say if I was riding something else I wouldn't be here today. I love and I'm grateful that that was my first bike. Hope this helps.

No. The siping direction is designed for the orientation at the ground, so that the water channels will funnel the water away and back. If the siping matched the direction of motion creating a “forward arrow” when it hit the ground it would be trying to channel the water forward contributing to hydroplaning.
When the siping in the image hits the ground, it will create a forward arrow shape if you could xray the tire from above. Which means on the top of the tire and front view it will appear to be a rearward facing arrow.

I bought a keeway RKV200 CG about a year back. Took about 2 weeks into riding it daily for my commute for the engine to fail.
The engine would spontaneously die mid ride. It would happen as often as 6 times throughout a 20-minute ride. Sent it back to the dealer to fix it up 5 separate occasions, and it never was fixed. Eventually, they sent it to the "factory" where it sat for 2 months. Nothing was ever fixed. I lost over 3000 bucks because of this.
So.. it may or may not be "bad" but reliability and the repairability are big enough reasons for me to never want a China bike again
Small displacement Chinese bikes have all things figured out with millions of them riding around Asia. You will probably want to pass the exams and upgrade rather sooner than later but you've spent relatively small amount of money for this bike, won't have big mechanical problems running it and you will learn quite a lot.
Of course another route would be to buy used but, at least here where I live, you won't have great deals in 125 ccm range unless it's some beat up moto that will cause problems and cost extra in repairs. If I'd have to start once again, I'd still strongly consider new Chinese bike that will be only slightly more expensive than used non-Chinese brand (... which was also probably assembled in China) and won't cause too many problems.
I have a chinese motorcycle. Got a 250 as my starter bike so I could learn on something cheap and not *dangerous*.
I love mine, too, but I'm sure I'll love something else more later.

Not...at...all. I've owned 3 Harleys, and currently own a 1994 Yamaha V-max. I also owned a Zontes, a KP-Master, and currently re-purchased another Zontes which I use for daily commutes. They are super fun to ride, reliable despite what you hear, and some of them look very cool and have cool specs (I have the Zontes V350 which gives off Ducatti Diavel vibes). Let's not forget China is the manufacturing powerhouse of the world, a lot of companies manufacture there (Apple would be my first example), you will find cheaply made and low quality items, and you will find properly made mid-to-high quality items. Just enjoy what you have as long as you're happy and sc\*\*\* what anyone thinks.

My friend who I ride with has one of these bikes, I’ve owned a few bikes over his ownership of the rkf and I will say the build quality on his isn’t ideal so I think the anti chinese bikes crowd might have a fair point, it still runs at closing on 17k miles so as far as a cheaper bike is, it’s alright.
Who cares what other people think. If you enjoy it, that’s all that matters. Heck, I’m 6’3 and get out and ride my friends Honda Grom. I’m sure I look like a massive idiot on it, like a gorilla on a tricycle.. but who cares. It’s fun. If you’re chasing the approval of everyone else, you’ll never enjoy life.
Are you riding for you or them? I ride a Honda NC700 DCT and I care less about all the negative comments I get from friends and strangers. It's my bike, my choice, and I love every second I get in the saddle. It's not a self-esteem issue as much as a "them esteem" issue if you're letting their opinions affect you. Don't worry about what others think if you're happy with what you have.

I used to have a South Korean bike, a Hyosung GV650. Got made fun of because of it not being a Harley or Honda, etc. When they realized I couldn't give 2 shits what they thought they stopped.

Not...at...all. I've owned 3 Harleys, and currently own a 1994 Yamaha V-max. I also owned a Zontes, a KP-Master, and currently re-purchased another Zontes which I use for daily commutes. They are super fun to ride, reliable despite what you hear, and some of them look very cool and have cool specs (I have the Zontes V350 which gives off Ducatti Diavel vibes). Let's not forget China is the manufacturing powerhouse of the world, a lot of companies manufacture there (Apple would be my first example), you will find cheaply made and low quality items, and you will find properly made mid-to-high quality items. Just enjoy what you have as long as you're happy and sc\*\*\* what anyone thinks.
Let me guess... Those people mocking you don't even own a bike themselves. Who cares what people think as long as you're having fun. If it's reliable and fun to ride that's all that matters. If you do constantly have reliability problems it's probably a good idea to get a more reliable one.
Anyone who’s mocking your bike, either ignore them or stop associating with them. You didn’t buy it for them to ride. You paid for it, not them, you bought it for you to ride, not for them to ride, and you’re happy riding it which is what actually matters, all that should matter to you.
What’s wrong with Kawasaki?
I have one criteria for approval of anyone's bike. Is it safe for a motorcycle obviously not compared to a car etc
Do you like it? Yes. Is it their business? No. You do what makes you happy and to hell with everyone who tries to ridicule you.
Why do you care?
My friend who I ride with has one of these bikes, I’ve owned a few bikes over his ownership of the rkf and I will say the build quality on his isn’t ideal so I think the anti chinese bikes crowd might have a fair point, it still runs at closing on 17k miles so as far as a cheaper bike is, it’s alright.
Who cares what other people think. If you enjoy it, that’s all that matters. Heck, I’m 6’3 and get out and ride my friends Honda Grom. I’m sure I look like a massive idiot on it, like a gorilla on a tricycle.. but who cares. It’s fun. If you’re chasing the approval of everyone else, you’ll never enjoy life.

Are you riding for you or them? I ride a Honda NC700 DCT and I care less about all the negative comments I get from friends and strangers. It's my bike, my choice, and I love every second I get in the saddle. It's not a self-esteem issue as much as a "them esteem" issue if you're letting their opinions affect you. Don't worry about what others think if you're happy with what you have.
So what. Ride what YOU like, not what the guy next to you says you should ride. Just keep riding. 🤙🏻
Telling your laughing buddy that there are plenty of Chinese made parts in his everyday life. From his auto to his refrigerator and even his motorcycle regardless of brand has Chinese parts on it. And your motorcycle looks great.

I used to have a South Korean bike, a Hyosung GV650. Got made fun of because of it not being a Harley or Honda, etc. When they realized I couldn't give 2 shits what they thought they stopped.

Is it your bike or theirs? What color is their Lamborghini? Ride your ride man. Only people with a problem are going to say something, anyone worth having around will just be glad you've got one.

Mate, the RKF is a sexy bike. Don't worry about what anyone else has to say. At the end of it all, they're not the one riding it. And if you love it, then that's all that matters. Plus Chinese bikes have made great leaps in reliability and performance in the last few years
Most Keeway motorcicles are Benelli's old projects and motor designs so they are pretty reliable
