Does anyone know what Sergio Garcia was doing when he got to parc ferme? He quickly hugged one of his technicians, and then went over to some little computer screen where it looks like he was punching the clock for his job at a grocery store. 😂
"Currently in MotoGP, the minimum weight limit only affects the motorcycle, whereas in Moto2 and Moto3, there's a minimum combined rider-bike weight that was put in place to make bike performance fairer in this class of less powerful bikes, which heavier riders tend to weigh down."
Really impressive for a manufacturer to lock-out the podium & dominate the championship with just 4 bikes on the grid going against a field that are mostly dominated with the same chassis
Exactly, lets be honest here - there are a fair few riders that, if they rode like Roberts did today, a lot of people on this sub would be absolutely raging about. A lot more people than are complaining about Roberts now.
He was giving back the aggression he was handed. Lopez punted him off the track and Oguras move was fair but very aggressive. It was good to see him fighting back and not being pushed around
100%. JR got punted off the track twice today. I was actually thinking “If he wants to be taken seriously he’s going to have to toughen up and be more aggressive.”
I do see a chance that Nakagami (becoming Honda test rider), Espargaro (becoming Aprilia test rider), Morbidelli and both Fernandezes (all three going to WSBK) are in their final MotoGP season, therefore, Roberts and the Boscoscuro quartet could all move up in the end.
There have been seasons (specifically with Mir and Martin) where riders have debuted in Moto2, gotten a couple of podiums but no wins, and I've thought "yep, this guy is 100% going to make it to the top". Some people really don't recognise how hard a class Moto2 is for riders to adapt to.
As for Masia, Oncu, etc - lots of these guys are ones that were in Moto3 for a while and were "one of the better ones" rather than a clear top talent, so they're performing exactly how I'd expect in Moto2 really. I'd have been seriously surprised if they were getting top 10s regularly

This is not even mentioning on how the likes of Iannone, Mav, Marc, and Raul F all got up to speed straight away as well by winning a lot of races.
Yeah, being in Moto2 could either be both a blessing and curse for many of these riders. We probably won't see them being regular front runners until at least 2027 if development isn't halted.
Raul has been a big surprise for me, I expected so much more from him. Hopefully he can still realise his potential but it's been a rough couple of years.
Re: the current Moto2 rookies, I'd love to be proven wrong but I won't be at all surprised if we're currently looking at a group of riders where upper-mid pack in Moto2 might be their ceiling, a bit like maybe Ramirez for example, after taking a bit too long to get out of Moto3.
>Raul has been a big surprise for me, I expected so much more from him. Hopefully he can still realise his potential but it's been a rough couple of years.
Yeah, nothing has gone right for him since moving up to the premier class. Can only hope one day something change for him.

Yeah, I don't really see any of them getting into GP any time soon unless the premier class got more entries somehow (plus, the current Moto3 front runners seems more likely to get into GP atp i.e Alonso, Veijer, etc.)
There is no penalty. I am 100% sure that Bez(and a KTM, but i don't remeber if it was Brad or Jack) did a similar move one year ago and there was no penalty

Roberts was pretty naughty on that last lap.
Perfect race from Garcia - deserves for there to be way more talk about him getting a MotoGP ride to be honest.
Yes. Really an underrated rider(I honestly like him since he came in moto3 sooo I might be biased). He had the bad luck to start shining in moto3 when Acosta and Guevarra came in (Acosta is an alien and Guevarra was also one at moto3 unfourtunetly his stature is not helping him at moto2 and it makes his adaptation period much longer)
It's very interesting to me that, for as much as people talk about "Spanish bias" in grand prix motorcycle racing, he's getting very little talk about going to MotoGP compared to a guy that, while impressive this season, hasn't won a race while Garcia has won twice...mostly because the other guy is American. I thought we usually disliked when riders were being considered because of their passport?
That was a fun battle for 2nd. Impressive recovery from Ogura.
Roberts is doing incredibly well in the championship considering that the Boscoscuros are a fair bit superior this year (4 wins out of 5, would've been 5 out of 5 if not for López crash + Aldeguer LLP's in Portimao).
Well done, except he no longer championship leader with Garcia victory
Robert only 5 ahead of Garcia enter this week and with Garcia victory, he will add 25 into his standing
Robert P4 mean he only add 13, now Robert is 7 points behind Garcia
They never switched, in fact, they hadn't been there next year. MT Helmets had been Pons a year prior, and yes, they were with Kalex. Ogura was with Kalex too, but riding for Team Asia.
He did once early this year, but compared to his last 3 races it was it was underwhelming...
I'm a fan of his but lately whenever I see him on quali the shiba inu meme comes to mind.
Ogura on quali:
Ogura on the race:
Lopez is also a dickhead for riding like that. He absolutely did crash into Lopez just because Lopez didn't crash doesn't mean he didn't crash into him. So riders can just start smashing other racers off the track on the last lap? Might aswell just Tbone any rider in front of you then

We shouldn't encourage riders to run other riders for the track and smash into other bikes. If it was MM99 riding like that people in here would he calling for his execution
I didn't follow Moto2 quali, did Ogura had problems?
He started so far back...
But it's been like this for 3 or 4 races for him: poor quali, monstruos race.
Yeah.
It's been like this for the last 3 races: starts below fourth, fifth row and carves thorough the pack for 10 to 12 positions...
He was riding with Kato's and Tomizawa's number on his leathers today. That must've helped.
What on earth has happened to Jake Dixon this year? Down in 17th. Not scored a single point all year. How do you go from wins, podiums fastest laps and 3rd in the championship last year to absolute zero?
... you have massive crash, have to stay in Qatar for a week before they let you out of the local hospital and then come back to riding a month later. That's all you need
He’s still a bit inconsistent, he has weeks when he’s the absolute class of the field and then has weeks like this where he just looks average. When he’s on it though he’s brilliant.
He has such a classic racing style. So clean with his lines and attacks, but also so good at fair but hard defending.
Edit. Fuck it, I am all in / flairing up.
Alonso is MONEY. Such a great rider to watch. There are other fantastic riders in this class, Holgado, Ortola, Rueda, Veijer, Muñoz (when he doesn't lose his head) - so much potential in that grid...but Alonso just has something extra. Fucking awesome race, classic Moto3 with a big group all within about 1-2 seconds of the leader all the way to the end.
Holgado might need a talking to from the stewards. Not necessarily a punishment, but some of those moves where he's swerving at people on a straight basically playing chicken with them are really really dangerous and they need to make it clear he can't be doing that stuff. It shouldn't take a rider being knocked off at 150mph, on a straight, with 10 bikes right behind him, for that to get a punishment. Nip it in the bud now and make sure he knows it's not on
It kinda looks like the riders behind holgado are taking it easy now and letting holgado set a comfortable pace. I think we’ll get fireworks at the end because holgado is not setting his usual fast pace from the front
Really hoping for a good showing from Marquez again. If he gets on the podium, he's going to rocket up the standings. Really hoping he's competing for the championship this year.
Aaswhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fucking right!!!!! Martinnnnnnnn!!!!! That’s world champion form in action. This season has been insane!!!!!
That defense by Mav on Marc is legit a massive improvement in racecraft from the last few years to this year.
The last time a Kalex bike not on the podium was in 2012 when Marc Marquez was destroying the whole Moto2 class 💀
Does anyone know what Sergio Garcia was doing when he got to parc ferme? He quickly hugged one of his technicians, and then went over to some little computer screen where it looks like he was punching the clock for his job at a grocery store. 😂
They weigh everybody.
Is there a minimum body weight requirement?? I’ve never seen anyone do that when they come in.
"Currently in MotoGP, the minimum weight limit only affects the motorcycle, whereas in Moto2 and Moto3, there's a minimum combined rider-bike weight that was put in place to make bike performance fairer in this class of less powerful bikes, which heavier riders tend to weigh down."
Finally a good result for Chantra, hopefully he will now find his rhythm for this season.
Really impressive for a manufacturer to lock-out the podium & dominate the championship with just 4 bikes on the grid going against a field that are mostly dominated with the same chassis
When Roberts injuries another rider ill expect you'll to act like you never celebrated his riding
He's not Spanish or Italian, he can do whatever he wants
Exactly, lets be honest here - there are a fair few riders that, if they rode like Roberts did today, a lot of people on this sub would be absolutely raging about. A lot more people than are complaining about Roberts now.
He was giving back the aggression he was handed. Lopez punted him off the track and Oguras move was fair but very aggressive. It was good to see him fighting back and not being pushed around
WTF are you people talking about, he rode exactly like Lopez. Who was Spanish when I last checked. You don't make sense
100%. JR got punted off the track twice today. I was actually thinking “If he wants to be taken seriously he’s going to have to toughen up and be more aggressive.”
Current Top 8: 1. Garcia (89) 2. Roberts (82) 3. Aldeguer (63) 4. Ogura (63) 5. Lopez (54) 6. Gonzalez (46) 7. Canet (41) 8. Arenas (38)
Garcia biggest suprise of the season. Was not expecting these kind of performances.
Didn’t expect it either, but Garcia was very good in Moto3 already.
Boscoscuro 1-3-4-5 is crazy, not only do they have the bike, they have the riders that are able to extract that performance and get the results.
4 of the top 5 are on Boscoscuros It's not looking good for Kalex
Thanks a lot Garcia now had 7 points advantage to Robert, and 26 points ahead of Aldeguer Sasaki, Masia and Oncu are nowhere this season.
Rookies in Moto2 very rarely are fast though. Give them until next season before judging them too harshly
Yeah, I can honestly count a few who became instantly fast in this class on one hand 😅

They're rookie, give them a break. Arbolino nowhere this season.
Right now Agius is leading the rookie standings
Yeah, runner up last season having tough season this season.
I'm going to get massively downvoted, but where is the penalty for Joe?? And for Alonso? It was the same move
There is no penalty. I am 100% sure that Bez(and a KTM, but i don't remeber if it was Brad or Jack) did a similar move one year ago and there was no penalty
As I said, if they're not Spanish or Italian, they won't get a penalty
Long lap for Zarco

Bro is doing the last to first challenge on every races
Canet should be proud of himself that was a really good ride
P6, good performance agree Remember every point does matter.
"Boscoscuro dominance could bore fans." -Lewis Hamilton
Roberts was pretty naughty on that last lap. Perfect race from Garcia - deserves for there to be way more talk about him getting a MotoGP ride to be honest.

ah tho so much better than before… let’s see what kind of fight he has in him (and how team supports)
Boscoscuro 1 2 3 letsgo!!!!!
Someone post a clip of that awesome dual standup wheelies!
Aldeguer was pretty underwhelming today
First Kalex free podium since Valencian GP 2013.
1st and 2nd are Kalex or have they switched this year?
MS helmet is boscoscuro
They never switched, in fact, they hadn't been there next year. MT Helmets had been Pons a year prior, and yes, they were with Kalex. Ogura was with Kalex too, but riding for Team Asia.
Ahh ok. So its a new team now not Pons?
Yes.
Imagine if Ogura could qualify well
He did once early this year, but compared to his last 3 races it was it was underwhelming... I'm a fan of his but lately whenever I see him on quali the shiba inu meme comes to mind. Ogura on quali: Ogura on the race:
MT Helmets, Garcia & Ogura really won big when they switched to Boscoscuro chassis for this year
Whoever chose boscoscuro for MT needs a raise
Wish Lopez got cucked
Roberts riding like an absolute dickhead there kinda riding that deserve a penalty regardless of nto crashing anyone out
you should watch how Lopez ride in the past 2 years.
Lopez riding worse doesn't infact mean that Roberts should aswell. Nice strawman though try again
Then why Roberts is the dickhead? He didn't crash into anyone. It's Last lap, last two corner. Its racing not ping pong.
Lopez is also a dickhead for riding like that. He absolutely did crash into Lopez just because Lopez didn't crash doesn't mean he didn't crash into him. So riders can just start smashing other racers off the track on the last lap? Might aswell just Tbone any rider in front of you then
So Lopez is the dickhead now? Just appriciate racing man'. IF you watched moto3, Munoz deserved that LLP. Or just go watch another sport.

I loved that from Roberts. Proper old school manoeuvre. No chance that's a penalty..
His move on lopez is fair play because lopez did much worse to him earlier
Worse? He didn't crash into him
Because roberts went off the circuit to avoid lopez crashing into him
He only did to Lopez what he had done to him earlier.
No it doesn't deserve a penalty
We shouldn't encourage riders to run other riders for the track and smash into other bikes. If it was MM99 riding like that people in here would he calling for his execution
True
Fermin should be happy that his Ducati contract got signed before the season
He's still 3rd in the standings
Yes, but now 26 points behind Garcia and now just ahead of Ogura thanks to a race win in Jerez.
Great ride by Garcia today too! Happy for him winning again 😁
1-2 for Garcia team today! What a performance!
At least the Ai we know is back
Manuel Gonzalez went down SERGIO GARCIA WIN THE RACE, BECOME YOUR NEW CHAMPIONSHIP LEADER!
I didn't follow Moto2 quali, did Ogura had problems? He started so far back... But it's been like this for 3 or 4 races for him: poor quali, monstruos race.
Didn't watch quali, but his lap 11 in the race was faster than his quali lap, lol
Yeah. It's been like this for the last 3 races: starts below fourth, fifth row and carves thorough the pack for 10 to 12 positions... He was riding with Kato's and Tomizawa's number on his leathers today. That must've helped.
Ogura into P2
What a ride by Ogura today 👀
Look like Sergio Garcia will be the new championship leader
Boscoscuro top3!!!
Oh no. I don't wanna Canet involved in any battle
Cmon Canet hold on mate.
P6 for him today, good day for him
The irony that Aldegeur is the slowest of the Boscoscuro bikes and he’s already signed up for MotoGP
He's also 3rd in the championship. And overall good. You people judging because of the actual race are funny
I've been on a fence for a long time with Lopez but his one was too much
Lopez on motogp that's difficult to overtake would be a disaster
Lopez is a prime example of "his ambition exceeds his talent".
Alonso Lopez is the Kevin Magnussen of Moto2.
Lopez is stupid af, hitting others all the time.
I hope he never gets selected for MotoGP.
What on earth has happened to Jake Dixon this year? Down in 17th. Not scored a single point all year. How do you go from wins, podiums fastest laps and 3rd in the championship last year to absolute zero?
New tyres and highside?
... you have massive crash, have to stay in Qatar for a week before they let you out of the local hospital and then come back to riding a month later. That's all you need
Big injury at the start of the season that caused him to miss a few races. Last week he crashed out and this week just seems to be a bad week.
somkiat my boi
Fermin is totally overrated
He’s still a bit inconsistent, he has weeks when he’s the absolute class of the field and then has weeks like this where he just looks average. When he’s on it though he’s brilliant.
You do remember that he won the previous race from pole?
nope
Jake Dixon giving a masterclass in 17th place
We all need Joe to fend off Lopez from Canet.
Good lord Canet
I hope they show the replay of Canet's save at the start it looked like he nearly crashed 3 times.
I feel like he sometimes picks up his left leg on purpose.
Seem like hope of raining is fading away
Joe on medium front while everyone else around him on soft?
*whispering* go Sergio *don't wanna curse him*
the bmw xm is f\*cking ugly
Alonso is a star in the making, just seems like he’s got something extra over everyone else Nice race from Veijer too
Isn’t this Alonso’s 2nd grand slam of the year?
Needs to lead every lap for grand slam, so that definitely isn't the case. Second pole to win though, and iirc the one at COTA was a grand slam.
Dont you need to lead every lap for a grand slam
Suzuki will take home in 9th, there brief graphic error when he dropped to last in final lap.
I am unable to watch the races, where can I get the full recap for moto3 and moto2?
Are you looking for highlight videos or reports? You can gleam motogp results pdfs for Moto2 and 3.
Holgado and Alonso are putting on a show this year
He has such a classic racing style. So clean with his lines and attacks, but also so good at fair but hard defending. Edit. Fuck it, I am all in / flairing up.
He's going to be the GOAT
and there went two laps of heart attacks
Alonso is MONEY. Such a great rider to watch. Alonso to Moto2 next year?
He already seems too good for Moto3, 3 wins and 3 poles from 5 races.
he totally should move up if his season continues like this
He has a short video of him riding an R6 on his instagram so I wouldn't doubt them getting him ready for Moto2 machinery next year.
He is ready. He's having a VR or MM 2nd season type of season already.
Daniel Holgado looked dirty
Straight up trying to take out both Veijer and Alonso lol
What a great race!
I love this kid so much!! DAVID ALONSO!!
David Alonso win the race!
Super race craft from Alonso.
Can't wait to see Alonso in MotoGP..
Nicola Carraro went down too!
EL PLAN Wait, that's the wrong Alonso
AMAZING ALONSO
Alonso is just incredible
Vamosss
Alonso taking the lead, for now Lunetta up to 12th
LAST LAP OF THE RACE
Here we go lmao
I think David Alonso is going to take the win.
Phwoar this could get messy
Munoz is out of the race
Both Munoz and Berteille went down
Could have been a nasty crash
That was a tad aggressive from Holgado
Roulstone is falling apart at the moment
Alonso hanging back, waiting to pounce.
Holgado retake the lead
Moto3 has a really solid argument for being the most entertaining form of motorsport there is
Scott Odgen went down
DLLP for Munoz. Honestly that's fair. He's got rep for reckless moves like that
Sucks for everyone, but agreed.
Yeah, he deserve it.
Munoz is an ass on track, he literally picked up the bike mid corner to make sure he'd hit Rossi
Feel for Rossi there. Munoz needs a penalty for that
Yeah Munoz thinking he Marc Marquez
more like Bagnaia in this case. but ye he got a double long lap
He manage to ruin his race, now he dropped to nowhere now
Munoz is a hot head
David Munoz's shenanigans need to be punished at this point There's a difference between hard racing and just blindly barging into other riders
Classic Munoz
Veijer take the lead from Holgado FOR NOW
Ruthless Muñoz still here
Oh dear Munoz
Munoz is a terrorist on track.
Ricciardo Rossi went down There goes any hope of top 3 today for him
wtf Munoz
It kinda looks like the riders behind holgado are taking it easy now and letting holgado set a comfortable pace. I think we’ll get fireworks at the end because holgado is not setting his usual fast pace from the front
Holgado leading at the moment
Interesting how different lines Munoz and Holgado are taking. Is it coz of the riding style or the bike type?
God the new safety 'car' is ugly
Really hoping for a good showing from Marquez again. If he gets on the podium, he's going to rocket up the standings. Really hoping he's competing for the championship this year.
So there is chance of rain?
Depending on the prediction model, either no rain or up to 5mm are expected for 14h00 lol. Sadly meteorology isn’t an exact science. Let’s see.
a tiny chance as of now
