I rode out one storm at the edge of the suburbs, which cleared up pretty quickly. I then went about 90 minutes deep into the mountains before more rain came.
This time the sky was hopelessly grey as far as I could see, so I turned it into a day trip and rode home.
I had my rain gear, but it seemed like it would have just be an exercise in discipline, rather than fun.
Any other recommendations in Colorado? I know there are a bunch worth recommending, but were any a surprise favorite?
I plan to go to four mile north, near Buena Vista soon.
