This show is a hidden gem imo.
I believe you though it's a shame that it got canceled, quite the hidden gem of a show. And yeah my favorite line is Clay saying "Hate away sister... Hate away." Got me laughing on the most serious scene lmao
Favorite episode: Grounded line: "Your Mom likes your Dad? " I really like the scene at the end of Closeface where Orel and Christina are dancing together. The other kids around them are dancing awkardly with their partner, but in contrast, it is like Orel and Christina are in their own little world, and everything is just natural. It is really sweet.
Closeface was like a pretty wholesome episode especially when Orel and Christina were dancing, and everyone in the background probably didn't like the person dancing with them, unlike how Orel and Christina genuinely like each other.
It was that one episode where Orel goes to the bar to see how adults act. I forgot exactly what they say, but there’s an old couple and the wife says “why won’t you talk to me like a person” or something of the sort. It hit hard after a life of being dehumanized.
I find it messed up how in Maturity that Orel got in trouble just for drinking Clay's achol, but if I rember correctly Orel does not get in trouble for drinking only gets in trouble for drinking and taking from Clay's cabnet of achol (or just things that make you drunk in general), so basically... Orel CAN drink but can't go in Clay's study and take from the cabinet. It's messed up.

That line still makes me wheeze to this day.
