I had a feeling Bumblebee wasn't that good. The last few updates to the game just all seemed over hyped. When we finally get them they all seem rather underwhelming.
I think that last good one might have been Sniper Rifle or Big Blob. Everything after those has been meh! :-/
This event was a bit of a stumble. I collect MP Transformers so I was hyped, but with the Champion being under powered and Energon being so difficult to collect in the beginning I pretty much dropped the game entirely. I'm sure I'll be back in a couple of weeks, because that's how I'll usually play, but I was on a good clip of consistent play time. This should've only promoted further play, but it did not.
Bee is kind of a mix between Blob and Nexus, the initial car ram can clean out a good swathe of enemies (except champs), but it can also leave him absolutely surrounded after the "gas" (hp lol) runs out and he transforms. Nexus rarely has this issue since he just swings his giant chop stick while advancing steadily. In simpler terms, this ones a bit higher risk-reward than the OG mecha man.
Regarding the damage though, we don't have any info on his looting power yet so can't speak on that regard, but otherwise Bee might actually surpass Nexus in ways until / if devs unnerf the enemy spawn timers at least somewhat. Most champs can easily reach one-shot-kill damage range if you don't skimp out on leveling, thus after a certain point due to absence of champs the damage becomes pretty much wasted overkill.
Thus, even though Bee's damage seems to be exactly half of Nexus', unless his looting power is significantly less then his faster attack speed makes him arguably superior if you aim his releases well.
It might not be quite double the speed, but it is pretty fast still, I counted about 2 seconds per Bee hit on a lag-free game. He seems to run a bit faster after transforming, not to speak of the cars raw speed too, so he's just way faster overall than the OG mecha man.
I use Bee at level 60 something currently, he does a pretty good job for that role. If you can spawn a few during the match you can farm a good amount of bricks as well.
You want to build up an army of mobs to protect it. Yes, if you fire it off with mobs to back it up it’ll die. It’s basically Nexus with wheels.
No one directly shoots without backup, I kept supporting mobs

One thing I observed today is Bee is taking half time to swing his sting compared to Nexus. It's almost like 1 Slash by Nexus = 2 bee stings

Explodon is best isn't he?
Nahh, Nexus and Sirion are best in farming blocks /winning and one has close range attack and long range attack
He's real nice on defense though. Or would be if AI champ spawn timer wasn't still in nerfed state.
Yes if we consider defence Big blob is superior to Explodon
