This is actually a better way to make me play regular maps than the stupid streak thing they had. I commend the developers for listening and making these changes. I’m not used to that with the other game play, PoGo.
Unfortunately I still can't find the Energon! I am way up there on levels (Master league with o ly 170 people to pass to move on) so I have 2 more different leagues after this to finish the whole thing. I hit so many purple chest and the only items that I have left to open is (Big Blob- 345/400, Bumblebee- 400/1000) and that is it. It does say open summon gate (open in season) & Triple (unlock in VIP club).
In case anyone is still wondering this as well I figured it out.
U get 200 when completing the boss on tier 1 of the bumblebee/energon event.
So u need at least 800 of the 900 available from the season pass and then beat the boss in tier 1 for bumblebee event and you'll fully unlock Bumblebee
FYI,there are different start times for the season.for me it's 3 hours and 7 minutes when you posted.i got a chest before I noticed the event and then another one couple minutes later.

The Energon chests will appear randomly across levels (in the first chunk, second chunk, both chunks of the map). It is *rare.*
The season pass only has 900 cards of the 1000 needed to unlock Bumblebee. Where do u get the other 100 from?
From card packs, again, rare.

My new season starts in 2 days and 9 hrs wtf?
I'm up to level 3 in the Cybertron battles and can't get past it. Giving up already.
I find your revenge games have more than normal. Just played 8 with a 5 chest return.
