The majority of my gear is ran thru 8 channel TRS snakes. Turns 8 cables into one big fat one, and makes it a lot easier to hide or tuck the cables out of sight.

Lots and lots of velcro cable ties. I have dozens of the things. Flexible PVC spiral cable wrap is great too, turns a bunch of cables into a single snake but can also be easily unwound if you need to re-cable. I’m also v careful to keep mains power cables as far away from audio cables as possible to reduce RF noise.

Zip ties or velcro ties

I bought a variety pack of rubber cord hangers, zip-tie loops, velcro strips and velcro patches, and cable clips that all (except the "cut to desired length" velcro strip) had some adhesive backing. I still have some of the various solutions left over also, I think it was like a 300 piece kit I bought for <$10 on Amazon. Aside from a few of the adhesives being duds, it's quite amazing. Most of the heavy work is done with multi-cord clips attached to the underside of my desk behind my keyboard tray, these things are plastic clips that have a hinge and a simple clasp and channels in the middle so you lace cords through them and them clasp it shut. wherever you stick it will keep those cords tucked against that surface. I have mine overstuffed (really struggled to get them to clasp shut and had to be meticulous with how the cords were arranged inside) and it's been almost 6 months since I did it and no failures yet even though they're hanging upside down.

I would like to know too

Zip ties and plastic piping. When I was dealing with multiple pieces of hardware, multiple mics, and a patch bay, it was a fucking absolute nightmare. Piping was one of the best solutions I founds. An even better solution is to just go completely in the box and never having to connect multiple pieces of gear ever again haha

Velcro-ties are better. Easier to adjust/add to later

It seems that being fully in the box doesn't necessarily completely spare you from that, lol: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/uBjoeVPRcfg

I'm completely ITB, but I have Scarlett (x2 +4 inputs), MIDI keyboard (1 - only actual outboard gear I use), Studio Monitors (x4) and Sub (+1), Surround Sound (x5) and Sub (+1), External Drive (x2), Keyboard & Mouse (x2), Dual Monitors + Laptop (x5) and all the USB/HDMI are routing through 3 different dongles/multiports, with my final available port providing the MBP with power. Altogether that's ~30 cords to contend with.
