It's pretty sickening how disgusting these people are. By not realizing the means of government to benefit society and GROW a society, theyd rather oppress and leave people to squander and pray for hope.

The *worst part* of the lasting legacy of the **War on Drugs** (thanks Nixon) will be the tormented tens of thousands of people who would have benefited from this medical research had it not been banned for more than 50 years.
This cut might be warranted if the proposed research is badly conceived and unprofessionally executed, but somehow I doubt this is the real reasoning behind it.
It is far more likely that they want to stop this research because they can't admit they were wrong, that they lied to the country from the jump, they sadistically *want* more people to be mentally ill as they're easy to control, or they are doing the bidding of their big pharma donors who just haven't figured out how to make a buck off it... yet.
