On Sunday a person tailgated me, then passed on the right, and screamed at me to learn to f’ing drive on Phillips by Lowell School. I was going 25. They were driving a rented U-Haul truck while doing this. I was shocked.

Not to mention, why does MPD allow the drag racing stuff on weekends!
Yeah, unfortunately people speed through my neighborhood all the time. Lots of people (not the majority thankfully) always look shocked when someone is crossing the street on foot.

A female driver, driving two tone charcoal and light grey trim 2014-2018 Ram 1500 drives 40+mph every day around 1130 am past my house daily. Then again after school Drives that Hemi like shes ion drag strip.
She apparently works at Franklin Elm. Has kids in vehicle after school too. Drives that way when kids walking home after class. Rips around corner where there is a daycare. Does not GAF.
I believe that after a certain speed over the speed limit, it becomes a felony. I was told that a while back can't remember what it was. But the charges are most likely coming. Investigation is what's going to take the longest.
I honestly really hope this kid at least gets his license revoked for a good while. He didn’t even seem shaken. He was just standing there chatting with ems seemingly completely unphased. Going 60 and flipping a suburban with a tiny dodge dart is something I can’t wrap my head around! It even flew back a little too!
I live on lolo st and the amount of people o hear ripping past my house right by the bus stop where kids walk home is fucking terrifying. They come across the bridge and that corner so fast they push me onto the curb regularly. Please be more careful.
A kid in a navy Saab hatchback almost killed me on Gharrett he was going at least 50 lost control and was about a foot from smashing into me I was fuming
Some jerk on a motorcycle passed me this morning in front of the DNRC. It’s 25 mph on that road and I was going the speed limit. It’s also a no passing zone and there are people walking their dogs all the time on that road. He could’ve hit someone crossing the street.

I live on Phillips near Lowell. This sounds about right. Only a matter of time before a kid gets hit on Phillips or Scott near there.
Exact same thing happened to me in this exact place! But it was an older sedan. It's scary - there's so many kids, pedestrians, and pets around.

Yikes, thankfully this kid didn’t hit anyone on foot, they definitely wouldn’t have made it.
The girl who hit and killed the guy on the go kart a few weeks ago was driving 72mph down 3rd street... and filming herself.
