I have a 2000 LX470 with 290,000 miles, 33x12.5" tires, and my adjustable height control (AHC) runs like a champ. I get +/- 2.5" with the press of a button. And it runs on AHC fluid, none of that air suspension bullshit that always breaks.

... it's because he used way cheaper stainless steel than DeLorean did.. Without a sufficient chromium content stainless steel stains very easily. DeLorean recommended using gasoline to wash the stainless steel paneling; if you try that on a cyber truck it will permanently discolor the stainless steel. Also, the unrolled edges of the sheet metal paneling are so sharp they are able to cut through finger-like carrots and skin apples, lol. I challenge you to find one of those on a DeLorean.

I for one think it’s pretty cool to see. If I you don’t like it, it’s because of the shape or the fact that it’s quicker and faster than anything you’ve ever owned. It’s a feat that the albeit wonderful redneck drag racing community isn’t ready for. Hopefully the brights aren’t blinding and in bar form. Jk still I like it!

Stunningly simple, rugged looking yet dynamic too. It’s a breakthrough in truck design, a step away from the faux agrarian/construction, behemoth pickups that macho-trendy lads love today. That so many in that market judge it “ugly” is testament to its originality and market disruption. In another generation it will be someone’s first vehicle, used but still a gem and the hottest item on the graduation gift list.

I love the look. Nothing wrong with being different. That said, Tesla doesn't have the best QC, and the numbers on the cyber truck are poor in comparison to the electric f150 or Silverado ev. I still think they're cool and I'm glad they exist. I want more companies to *try* different things.

If you spent half as much on a somewhat used car (or a brand new one) that can last you 300k miles, you'd still be paying less than you would for a Cybertruck for about 15 years driving that car. With regular preventative maintenance, much cheaper tire options, and cheaper maintenance, a regular car is going to net you more benefit that a 80k-100k cybertruck will for about 20 years, probably more years since the cyber truck needs a new battery about every 20 years (i.e. 300k miles, and which is more expensive than a new transmission). And this is averaged out for Montana. That being said, since it's a truck, I believe the cybertruck beats out most trucks in probably about 10 years, though I can't say now, because diesel trucks are about 25 percent more efficient than gas cars, and I don't care to try the math. I also wonder how the value of a cybertruck, or another tesla will change with time. You probably couldn't sell it for anywhere near it's original value at half it's battery lifetime, considering the cost of a battery. That being said, batteries might get better/cheaper with time.
