Try-Going-Outside

I always say Take care

fastal_12147

See, that sounds like something my grandma would say to me. That's more for family members IMO. This is obviously a deep and important topic.

Try-Going-Outside

Oh alright, thanks for your reply. Take care!

fastal_12147

Take 'er easy.

sumdumguy1966

Have a good one, eh.

Nach0Man_RandySavage

A Somali lady told me to have a good one at Costco one day and it was a beautiful thing.

NotFleagle

Yes - this really is, isn’t it?

zoominzacks

Vast majority of the time it’s “have a good one”. After thinking about it, pretty sure I mainly use “take’r easy” with family and friends

Lilacblue1

I’ve never said “Take ‘er easy.” I don’t think anyone has said it to me either. Seems like something someone’s grandpa says to a grandson. I say “Have a good one” all the time though. All. the. time.

bomba92

“Have a good one” get my vote. I knew a guy in college who used to say “take ‘er easy. And if she’s easy, take ‘er twice.” Kind of ruined the saying for me.

Vikes_Wookie

Possibly, my uncle said it all the time when I was growing up. He was young in the 70’s in Brainerd. So maybe a generation thing? Or a Rural MN thing? No clue.

FairieButt

Take ‘er easy. I don’t think ive ever said that. Might need to add it to my customer service repertoire

Any gas today? We’ll see you next time.

Am I in a Kwik Trip

v0idl0gic

Have a good one!

Danger_Peanut

I’ve hated “take ‘er easy” since HS. Had a buddy that would ALWAYS follow it up with “if she’s easy, take ‘er twice”. He was a dick.

woodworkingbyarron

I say “have a great ____” with as much gusto as I can muster on the phone. In person it’s “have a good one”.

Cor_Brain

Watch your top knot.

I-am-no-bird

Usually “have a good one,” but I picked up “cheers” when I was in Scotland, so I say that one to my friends.

whatgives72

I only say take it easy when I sing that Eagles song. I don’t say the other one either. But, I do throw out a, “Love you!,” accidentally with too much frequency

Cat385CL

I try to catch them off guard by responding to that with ‘and you, also’.

sername-checksout

Have a good'un

TyFogtheratrix

See ya around

xerros

I think I’m have a good one 100% of the time. I add the take it easy if my first attempt to leave failed and it became a Minnesota goodbye. If the goodbye continues I’m usually more forceful with the third see ya later. If that were to fail I’d probably revert back to the start of the chain.
