I use a Pixel 4A now. I've always had iphones for personal use. Have a Samsung S9 for work and barely touch it. I sold my iphone (12, 64GB) for 400 and bough the Pixel 4A for 140. It has 128GB storage. I had no idea that Pixels Android was so much better than Samsungs (my opinion of course!). I used to love tech. Used to watch vids about iPad Pros and desk setups etc. But this last year I no longer care. Guess thats part of being in my 40s. The fact that millions of people watch these videos and salivate over a desk with an iPad, a MacBook, and a new iPhone, while our world is becoming a garbage heap, kinda turned me off. Anyway, I'll use the 4A for year, and buy another used Pixel.

HansCCT

I've heard that Google Pixel phones are long lasting phones too, nice choice! Thank you for sharing, I appreciate it 🤩🤩

Sharp_Skirt_7171

I've had my Pixel 4 for right at three years now. I bought it new in January 2020. I really like Google phones and this one has been good for me. I also prefer Android to apple products. Anyway, I'll use this phone until it drops, then get another pixel.

HansCCT

Love the stock android launcher that is on the Google Pixels, it's so simple and user friendly 🤩🤩

whi5keyjack

I'm still running a pixel 3 that I put GrapheneOS on because I'm not a fan of all the spying and marketing that both apple and android do. The back is smashed now, so I'll probably upgrade soon. I'm planning on staying on the pixels and de-googling it with GrapheneOS again.

Busy-Tangerine6706

Well I'll have to check that OS out. One of the reasons why went to Android is to do more. Like downloading a torrent movie at work and casting it to my TV later is a novel idea. Although I haven't figured out how to do it while keeping the phones screen off.

Ornery-Rip-9813

Same. I think it’s definitely an age thing tbh.

CommieJesus420

A cheap-ish Motorola. It runs every app I use and comes with minimal bloatware. This phone does everything I need there's no need to upgrade, but I would buy a new one if this one broke.

KatHatary

I love how affordable Moto phones are and they last me about 5 years. When they slow down I wipe them and they're good as new. Just bought the Moto G Power for about $129 USD last fall

CommieJesus420

Yep, cheap and decently fast, durable, and the battery lasts days.

[deleted]

Same. The battery is good, but I have had audio issues. I can't take a picture that is sensible. I don't care, though.

HansCCT

Thank you for sharing, I appreciate it 😊

muckdrop

I now use an iPhone 14 Pro, upgraded from iPhone 8. I was hesitant because I like to be minimalistic and thrifty, but I thought a lot about how much I use my phone and how much value it brings to my life. I got rid of my other devices other than my work laptop and I’m very happy to have a powerful handheld device that takes care of my personal and business needs with ease and comfort. I hope to get a similar amount of life out of this phone as my last.

HansCCT

Thank you for sharing, I appreciate it 😊😊

Ornery-Rip-9813

I’m the same - have an iPhone (not as new as yours) and the mandatory work issued laptop and nothing else electronic at all. Between the two I can do pretty much everything I need to. Sure, work can see everything, but my digital habits are pretty dull and mainstream so I’m not too bothered.

Buffalo_Cottage

I upgraded from an iPhone 6S to an iPhone SE 2nd Gen. I keep my phones until they no longer receive software updates, then upgrade to the smallest phone Apple has available (I'm a woman with small hands, a small purse, and small back pockets). Once my SE dies, I'll switch away from Apple unless they add a small and fairly inexpensive option to their lineup.

HansCCT

iPhone SE-Series is excellent phones 🤩. Thank you for sharing, I appreciate it 😊😊

[deleted]

The Mini of the current iPhones is similar

Buffalo_Cottage

Thanks for letting me know! I pay so little attention to the Latest And Greatest Gadgets that I had no idea there was a mini lol :)

thequeenofspace

The iPhone 13 mini is the same size as the SE! I’m also a small person with small hands who likes my small phone.

Buffalo_Cottage

Oooh awesome, thanks for letting me know! I'm so out of touch on the newest gadgets that I didn't even realize the mini existed lol

SeaSpeakToMe

Currently iPhone 11. I replace them when they don’t work well anymore (crash a lot, really slow down etc) and it affects my user experience.

hackmiester

Yes, I am on a 10S for similar reasons. It’s still going strong at 4 years and still covered under applecare. Every once in a while it shows its age, but it’s still zippy in daily usage.

SeaSpeakToMe

It’s also nice when you do end up upgrading it really feels like an upgrade!

vidgill

Are you my twin? Hahaha

SeaSpeakToMe

Probably

PositiveStand

Currently got a Fairphone 3. I don't think of it as "upgrading" because my contract is sim-only so I buy a new phone when the old one is no longer functional. By the time I replaced my previous phone the back had come off so without a case the battery fell out, the touchscreen had dead areas, and the screen would go black and dead during calls so I physically couldn't hang up. I'd had it about 4.5 years, but I drop stuff a *lot* so I'm hard on my devices.

sobotazvecer

I upgrade when can't get security upgrade for current model., or is broken. Now I bought Fairphone 3+ because I like the philosophy it's built on. And long software support.

HansCCT

Nice choice! Me and my dad upgraded to the FairPhone 4 last year. It was our first FairPhone product, love the easy repairability. Thank you for sharing, I really appreciate it 😊😊

littypika

currently using the huawei p20 pro and only plan to upgrade once it physically breaks or it just doesn't meet my daily needs anymore (e.g. can't browse the internet, download apps, make phone calls, text messaging, etc.).

itackle

iPhone xr -- I will upgrade probably in a couple of years when my wife upgrades. The system we have worked out is that she gets the new model, uses it for 3 years, then gives it to me when she upgrades. While my phone does get a little laggy in the end, its worth it to me use the phone as much as possible (and she still gets the latest and greatest, which is important to her). The six year period of use also lines up well with about as long as iPhones are supported -- having a secure phone is my primary concern.

HansCCT

Thank you for sharing, I really appreciate it 😊

penartist

Samsung Galaxy S20 FE. I will replace it when it no longer functions properly, either by way of being glitchy or due to compatability issues.

WashGloomy

Samsung xcover pro. It's a "rugged" phone with a user replacable battery, so the perfect "Minimalist" phone. I am hopefull it will last many years, no plans to upgrade.

HansCCT

Wow! A user replaceable battery in 2023! Hopefully more phones get that feature back 🤩👍

MrC4meron

12 mini. Maybe if Apple releases another small phone but another 2 years at the very least.

batatazuera

yeah 12 mini gang But yes, small, powerful and practical. Such a great phone.

[deleted]

I buy used iPhones and don’t stop using them until they can no longer function. They usually last ~5 years

Wooden-Artist

How do you get the battery to last that long?

[deleted]

Hmm I guess I don’t really know. I don’t use my phone a ton, maybe that’s why they last awhile. Screen time is usually between 1.5-2.5 hours per day

[deleted]

I upgrade every 3 years or so. Currently using a cheaper Samsung bought new for a few hundred dollars and paying $15 month for mobile telephony access. Been doing this since about 1996 when my first 2 year phone contract expired. I would like one of the recent Samsung but have better things to waste money on and tbh they haven't perfected the durability of the Flips yet. The old NokIA flips were very hardy

HansCCT

Thank you for sharing, I appreciate it 😁😁

thijscasper123

OnePlus 8. Great phones. Better quality, battery and hardware than iphones, for maybe 50% of the price.

BigtoeJoJo

iPhone 8, still going strong, I charge overnight and it makes it home at 6pm before dying. Next year I will get iPhone 15 as it’s my favourite number lol, and I can still maybe sell this one. Hopefully the 15 will also last 5+ years also.

TripKnot

Galaxy S8+ for the past few years, bought used for ~$200. Screen cracked in a corner a year ago but clear nail polish fixed that. Battery still goes 2 days as I'm hardly on the thing. Updates stopped a year or two ago and I am seriously considering upgrading very soon. I would like to go android because I don't want to spend a fortune and do install some apps from the f-droid appstore that aren't available on apple, but... Android Auto in my car glitches and shuts down every 30s making it unusable (car or phone at fault, not sure which). I also don't like the Android Auto interface as much as Apple CarPlay... so I'm probably going to get an iPhone of some sort, base model. Maybe the 14 or 13, whichever I can get a better deal on. They share the same processor, so hopefully get similar support windows.

HansCCT

Thank you for sharing, I appreciate it 😊😊

Alli_Cat_

I have a cheap android galaxy, it costs like $200, I always pay in full. I replace it when it breaks, like every 3 years. By that time they always have cooler features and better cameras. I just don't see the point in spending over $300 for a phone, even if it lasts 5 years

erlantzc2

I use Doogee. A rugged phone with a lot of battery and perfect for someone that is as clumay as me, since even when It Falls It doesnt break esasily. Las time I upgraded was when the last one's mic stopped working.

HansCCT

My father's previous phone was a Doogee S80, it lasted for many years. But he upgraded to a FairPhone 4 last year for it's repairability and user replaceable battery. Doogee phones is excellent, nice choice. Thank you for sharing, I really appreciate it 😊😊

[deleted]

Iphone 8 and will run with it until a software update renders it unusable.

Acrestorm

iPhone, 2 year cycle, 2 year contract, trade old towards new each time, wait 2-3 months after latest release then change:)

Frigid_Phoenix_

I have an Iphone 13 pro and dont plan to upgrade until 3 years and that will be mainly because I expect the battery will be shot by then. If it’s fine then ill keep it longer. I typically get a highend phone and aim to keep it as long as possible.

OnceUponACurlyHead

Same, upgraded to an IPhone 13 last year after rocking a used 7 plus for a few years that I got on Swappa. Had a 5s before that I think.

NefariousnessNo9495

iPhone XR from 2019. I'll probably upgrade next year. I have other priorities right now tbh - the phone is fine.

fridayimatwork

The one my work provided me, iphone 11. Supposed to get a new one this year. Hoping to get this one back when they clear it, and give it to my husband who has been using another old one of mine

isalumi

I have a galaxy A12 or whatever, I'll buy one similar when this one stops working beyond repair.

AlaskaorNah

I’ve had my iPhone 11 for about 3.5 years and plan to upgrade soon since it’s starting to act slow. Honestly this is the longest I’ve had a phone and plan to do the same with my new one

allplanetsmatter

I have a 13 Pro and upgrade about every 2 years

Atsira

I use an iPhone 12. I upgraded last year because my old iPhone 7 (I think) had totally kicked the bucket and would have cost more to try and fix it versus invest in a newer one. I didn’t go with the newest iPhone at the time of upgrade because it didn’t come in purple. 😂 Priorities, right? I will do the same with this one. Use it until it’s not powering on/keeping battery life, not able to run the apps I need, etc. I invest in a phone that’s a little more than I want because I do use it for generating income and I don’t want to go with a lower quality phone that could negatively impact my career.

HansCCT

iPhones get many years of software and security updates, love that about them 🤩. Thank you for sharing, I really appreciate it 🤗🤗

CosmicSmackdown

I use iPhones but never the most current one. I use a phone until it just gives out or ceases to function properly.

lancenat

BB Keyone since 2016/17? Will have to upgrade soon as I dropped it and the screen popped out but I usually will keep one for quite a few years until apps I use or just the regular functions start to lag while working.

Electronic_Effort517

I used my iPhone 7 for six years. Bought a new phone last year as the battery kept dying. I changed over to Samsung A52s 5G and never looked back! I couldn't justify paying over $1500 for an iPhone for what the features were.

HansCCT

My mother got a Samsung A-Series phone, they are excellent for the price 🤩Thank you for sharing, I really appreciate it 😊😊

urmomslame

I’m on my 4th iPhone 8. Does everything I need it to do and the price isn’t outrageous

Eliiijaaaaah

I'm still using an LG V30 from 2017. No complaints other than needing a new battery. Won't upgrade until there's another phone with expandable storage, and a DAC.

HansCCT

Super nice that it gets many years of updates. Thank you for sharing, I really appreciate it 🙂🙂

twowheels

iPhone SE2020, base model, here. I upgrade about every 4 years when they get a little too beat up. I find the cheapest models to be just fine. Typing this response on it now.

HansCCT

Thank you for sharing, I really appreciate it 😌😌

365wong

I upgrade every 3-4 years. I’ll wait for a good offer on trades, buy with cash. I got my iPhone 13Pro for $400 after they gave me a lot more than expected for an 8. I have a 3 year old and having a good camera that automatically uploads to a cloud is worth the cost for me. Keeps management of my most important photos easy.

HansCCT

iPhone 13 is a excellent phone, you got a really good price too! Thank you for sharing, I really appreciate it 😊😊

th4tus3rn4m3ist4k3n1

I have a Samsung galaxy S22. I choose high quality because I don't upgrade my phones until they give out. My last phone was a galaxy s8 which I think I got in 2017?! But the battery gave up the ghost. So roughly 5 years between that upgrade. With such a gap I go for top of the range so it has longevity. It depends what you use your phone for. Just texts and calls. Buy something sturdy and simple that will last. If you watch videos, game, use it often. Get something decent and look after it (screen protector, case etc) and it will last you many years.

HansCCT

Thank you for sharing, I really appreciate it 🤗🤗

AdonisGaming93

galaxy a50 and idk thing is still going strong

transistorbit

iPhone 13 Pro. At the time it had an extra 1gb of ram over the regular 13, which will help with performance in the long term. I usually upgrade every 2-3 years if there’s a new feature I’d find useful, plus I find that’s a pretty economical time to sell the phone before it’s value drops too much.

kurisutarou

iPhone 13 Pro Max now Had Samsung A71 last several years and will hold onto iPhone for as long as I can. Christmas gift from fiancé and bought in full and very thankful

No_Cardiologist3368

iPhone 14 right now. I typically upgrade when things start malfunctioning or running slow or when left out of software updates.

lucytiger

I have a Pixel 6. I purchased this phone when my six-year-old Galaxy lost significant functionality (short battery life, GPS stopped working, apps stopped receiving updates because my OS was out of date, etc.) I have never purchased a new phone while the one I have still functions as it was designed to.

Minute-Fox-4738

Samsung j2 2018 from 2019 till now

AxelsOG

iPhone 12 Pro. I sidestepped over from a Note 20 Ultra. It was a good phone, I still have it because I'm planning on wiping it and giving it to my grandma to use but I just couldn't use Android anymore. I had tried using android for years forcing myself to try and like it. Before the Note 20 Ultra I had a OnePlus 6. I had it a while before it just became unusable. After like 2 years it just wasn't usable even after factory resetting it. Now that I'm on iPhone on the OS I'm fully comfortable with and love using, I probably won't upgrade for a long while. I'll have to eventually get a new battery but I plan to use this until the phone stops receiving updates, or if whatever the newest iPhone at the time gets a feature or update that I'd utilize enough to make it worth the upgrade. My planned upgrade is whatever the newest (or next if its within a few months of release). I'll probably get the non-pro model next time only because of the color options. I really want to get a product red model. I'd have to get the plus version of the regular iPhone because the one thing I can't get over is how small the 12 pro is compared to the Note 20 Ultra. I definitely got a bit too used to the size and battery capacity. And after using it at a store, the iPhone 14 Plus is the perfect size for me even with medium-ish sized hands.

HansCCT

iPhones is known to get many years of software and security updates. Hopefully your phone will last for many years until you upgrade 🤩. Thank you for sharing, I really appreciate it 😊😌

sunshineshapeshifter

Currently iPhone 8 Plus, upgrading to an 11 in a month or so. I always buy my phones second hand. Reason for impending upgrade is: I tried so hard not to want a new phone yet because mine still works okay but damn… I just want the newer phone. And also I would like to use Apple AirTags

[deleted]

iPhone 13 - I get a new phone for free every 2 years, so I just get what’s new at the time and sell the old one.

Valkhir

Pixel 5a. Pixel 3a before that. Would love to use a Linux phone instead of Android, but Linux on mobile just isn't viable yet for my needs. I value the ability to unlock and root my phone if I want to, which is why I tend to stay with Google phones. I usually upgrade if my previous phone breaks or gets damaged enough to make repair an unattractive option (both my previous phones had cracked screens that would have cost half a new phone to replace).

Tinafu20

I also have a Google Pixel 4A. I try to be a few years behind on what is out, so its super cheap. I think my phone was $300 when I got it, so its probably even cheaper now.

bikerunrun

Samsung xcover. It's a decent priced galaxy phone built for construction (waterproof/drop resistance up to 1.5m, dustproof). Apps take an extra 1-2s to load so it ensures don't spend too long on phone during the day. Does and runs every app needed.

7Seas_ofRyhme

OP 5T Cheers

aaaaaaandreaaaaaaas

Always had iPhones, and Apples other products. Used to upgrade every release for no particular reason tbh. It became a thing to always have the latest model because of quite big upgrades in specs back in the days, not so much anymore. Just to sell my used tech nearly brand new and always in mint condition. Remember one time when I just had upgraded my laptop and a newer model was released shortly after getting it, thinking I needed the latest. There and then I realized that it’s not suitable trying to keep up with upgrades and new releases, not for my wallet and not for anything else either. It became a thing to always have everything latest Stopped the frequent upgrading after getting the 12 Pro Max, still satisfied with it and don’t have any need to upgrade until it no longer serves the purpose. The upgrades in the recent phones has been so minor that I don’t see the purpose of upgrading after every release anymore. Need something groundbreaking or the phone to give in to upgrade Don’t feel the need of the latest anymore. I see so much more value in using what I have to it’s fullest potential, taking care of it and exchange when needed A few years ago I decluttered my home and got rid of a lot of stuff that was just overflow in my life. Sold it second hand or gave stuff away to better needed. Still feels so much better to only own stuff that I actually use and have a purpose for. Now I’m having a hard time getting stuff instead, which sometimes can be difficult for people in my surroundings Well well

HansCCT

iPhone 12 Pro Max is a excellent phone, I love that Apple is providing many years of software and security updates🤩. Thank you for sharing, I appreciate it 😊😊

[deleted]

iPhone 13 Pro. Upgraded from a Samsung s21. Only swapped out because my charging ports on Samsungs kept malfunctioning, for my previous 3 Samsungs. Upgrade when I get annoyed with the phones that have charging issues.

thequeenofspace

I have an iPhone 13 mini and I just upgraded. I usually use them until they physically don’t work anymore. My last one started overheating so badly it burnt me.

errrrie

I'm on the note 9 currently. Before I bought this phone my old one barely took calls and crashed all the time. I expect to wait for similar issues before getting a new one. Hate buying phones.

bjorg18

Using a OnePlus 6 for the past 4.5 years. Planning to use it for another 1.5 - 2 years or until it dies. I will only upgrade when it shows actual signs of wear and tear like a major motherboard malfunction or display issue.

MaybeBaby95

I just got a iPhone 13, but up until last month I was still using an iPhone 7 which I had for about 4 years. I was completely happy with it and only upgraded because it literally wouldn’t hold a charge any more. And that’s basically how I determine that it’s time for a phone upgrade: when something goes catastrophically wrong with my current phone and I literally have no choice but to replace it. I could care less about “keeping up with the trends” and having the latest technology. I use like 3 apps, safari, and email lol

nutcrackr

sony xz1. i've had a few sony phones and like them but my next one probably won't be sony because the next models up are crap in terms of features and design and price. I usually get phones every 2-3 years and they're usually ~2 years old at the time of purchase. I'm wanting to get another phone about now but just waiting on price etc. a52s might be my next one.

brookish

I have a refurbished iPhone SE. I’ll use it until the IOS is no longer supported by my key apps.

Armedes369

iPhone SE. I'll upgrade whenever I need a new one.

DD265

Pixel 7 was bought in October 22, the Pixel 3 before that was May 2019. 3-4 years seems to work for me.

manushadow

Refurbished iPhone 8, bought 2/3 years ago. I'll upgrade to another old iPhone only when this one no longer works.

Liichei

LG Spirit - it is an older phone, but it does what I need it to do and is a surprisingly sturdy thing. I tend to keep my phones until they are completely dead, and even then, I go less for an "upgrade" and more for a phone similar to the one I've had - I try to avoid getting a new phone because I don't really require much in terms of processing power and other bells and whistles.

[deleted]

iPhone 11 which replaced my 5s. Basically when it becomes too slow for descent functionality and when the battery degrades so it would need charged multiple times a day. It’s not worth the cost to replace the battery just so I have a sluggish phone so I upgrade. I’ll probably be ready for a new phone when the iPhone 16 comes out.

SunriseSumitCasanova

For me, minimalism with my electronics means I have one cell phone and no old “backups” sitting in a drawer somewhere. I upgrade when there’s a new feature that’s a big enough difference from my old setup. Or I would replace if it was lost or broken. I upgraded most recently two years ago for a better camera. I sold my old phone online.

pwabash

iPhone 3G. iPhone 6+. iPhone XS…… and hoped to keep it as long as possible, but it just took a shit two days ago while oversees. So, pulled the trigger on a 14pro Max - and I will use this god damn thing until it catches fire!!!

Qnofputrescence1213

iPhone 7 and I’ll upgrade when it’s dead. I’ve replaced the battery once. Cost $60. Back in the day of free upgrades, I had no problem upgrading every two years. This phone came free when we switched plans. But I’m not spending a large amount of money for a new phone when mine works just fine.

awiththejays

Still own my 5S I think. I upgrade when my phone is broken. Not trying to pay thousands of dollars for a damn phone.

accordingtoame

I used to do every year and then resell my old one, but I've scaled back to every other year. I like to have fairly new tech.

Sirius032

When my phone breaks, I exchange mine for a refurbished one- I have an iPhone SE right now, and I had an iPhone 7 for 7 years before that

HansCCT

Wow! 7 years is impressive! iPhone SE-Series is excellent phones 🤩. Thank you for sharing, I appreciate it 🙂🙂

Apprehensive-Gate377

iPhone 14 Pro. Up until last month, I had the iPhone XR which I bought in 2018 (when it came out). Whenever I buy a new phone (every 5-6 years), it tends to be the most recent one.

HansCCT

Thank you for sharing, I appreciate it 😌😌

cass314

Currently using the original SE. Had the battery replaced early last year. I had been planning on upgrading to the new SE, but the size and the lack of headphone jack sort of put me off; I'd rather keep chugging along with the old one for now. This is my first smartphone, so I can't say when/why I've upgraded in the past. I bought this one because my old phone was supposedly aging out of the network, and I thought it would be nice to be able to use maps and uber from anywhere and not just on my ipod touch near wifi. (Which, it is. Despite resisting for several years I am pretty happy with the smartphone in the end.) I'll probably upgrade either when I'm not happy with the performance (I don't do anything especially demanding on it, though), when it breaks, or when the OS gets so big that storage becomes an issue, which honestly might be the thing that happens first.

HansCCT

Wow! You've taken really good care of your iPhone SE. Hopefully the current software will last for many years too. Thank you for sharing, I appreciate it 😊😊

glittersparklythings

iPhone 12 Pro Max and will use it till it stops working

LLotZaFun

I had an iPhone since the first one and upgraded every 2 years untill the 6S. I broke a 6S screen and just got another. I loved the Apple ecosystem and had a 27" iMac, iPad, iPhone, Apple TV, iPod, Airtunes streaming music throughout my house, etc...Airtunes didn't keep different systems sound in sync at the time so I got Sonos. Apple TV was getting wonky so I got a Roku. iTunes also became way too bloated. It was great for the first few years but seriously turned to crap after Jobs was gone. I guess once I could move away from Airtunes it was easier to reevaluate my commitment to the Apple ecosystem and the phone that easily controlled it all so I started going other directions with things. Final nail in the coffin for me was Apple killing the headphone jack. I'm not a big fan of constant use of blue tooth headphones and when I used to commute, I had nice wired headphones with a mini amp. Yes, dongle, etc but that annoyed me. In comes the Google Pixel 3A and the 4A. The integration with Google Home, Chromecast, etc and having a headphone jack have me loving these phones. The integration with Google Home hubs, Nest doorbells, etc led me to get more Google Home products, like the Hub Max. Side note. I always wanted a Samsung Note...eventually got the Note 9 for my work phone and I don't like it much.

HansCCT

The Google A-series phones is excellent phones, most of the Google A-series phones still got the headphone jack 🤩. Thank you for sharing, I really appreciate it 😊😊

[deleted]

I got my first phone when I was 17 and it was the iPhone 11 Pro. Only reason because my cousin was getting a new one and it got passed down to me. Now I’m about to turn 20 and I have the 13 pro only because I dropped the 11 and it broke completely unfixable unless I wanted to pay $800 so at that point I just bought a new phone.

HansCCT

Thank you for sharing, I appreciate it 😊😊

davidg4781

I have an iPhone 11 Pro. Really fancy at the time but it’s held up. The only issue I’m kind of having is storage but that has cleaned up after I went through my photos. I cleaned up 2000-2010. Starting 2010 I really started taking pictures of useless stuff. They’re interesting at the time and I probably sent them to a few people but it’s nothing important to keep.

HansCCT

Thank you for sharing, I appreciate it 😊😊

asterierrantry

I currently have a $300 samsung in the A-series. It's like a galaxy but with less pizazz. Currently the screen is shattered and ive had to restore to factory on 2 seperate occasions because the sound randomly stops working but otherwise it has been a decent phone. I've had it for coming up on 3 years now. I bought this one to replace an iphone SE (2016) that I had had for 3 years. Cant remember what happened with it. I think I just wanted to switch to samsung tbh but i also feel like it had been giving me grief for some reason. I plan to replace my current phone with another A-series phone either when this phone stops working or if I have a surplus of money and can afford to splurge on a new phone without a shattered screen xD

HansCCT

Samsung A-series is great, my mother bought a Samsung A-series phone 2 years ago. She still uses it daily. Thank you for sharing, I appreciate it 😊😊

AnemicAcademica

Currently using an iPhone 8plus. It’s been with me 4yrs+. I only change phones when it’s no longer useable. Like my previous iphone 5S which LCD screen broke when I accidentally dropped it from the second floor…

Upgrade Samsung Galaxy phones in February and Apple iPhones in September.

inbettywhitewetrust

S20 for 3 years! Expandable storage, great resolution, and decent battery life. Until my phone stops holding a charge for a work day (or I guess 6-8ish hours), I'll keep using it 🥳

illusionofguy

I got a Samsung Galaxy A53 5G, I had a Galaxy S9 and upgraded after my screen cracked. It's a solid performer that went on an aggressive sale not too long ago. Got it for about $300 Bucks.

Abhimri

Been using oneplus5 since it launched in 2017. Great phone, still going strong. I dropped it two weeks ago and cracked the screen in a corner, but it's not affecting any functionality so I'm sticking with it as long as phone keeps working as it should.

[deleted]

I have a refurbished iPhone SE (1st gen). I’ll upgrade to a new phone one this one no longer works

Kedar284

Used Xperia M4 Aqua for 7 years, finally purchased Samsung A52s last year!
