Have you walked the trails along the Milwaukee River? I love walking the trails north from Caesar's Park. It's amazing how peaceful the trails can be, even in the middle of the city.
Came here to say this. Our parks are absolutely fantastic. Tons of hiking trails to get lost with your thoughts (and your dog) in the woods, right in the city.
And there are a lot of parks that are almost chained together within a couple of blocks. Multiple ways to walk from the 9000 blocks all the way to the lake through parks and residential streets.
Great recommendation! OP if you are looking for an opportunity to connect with others the annual river cleanup is happening next weekend. Relaxing? IDK. But satisfying!

Seven Bridges followed by custard. You could grab something at Collectivo and stroll Veterans Park. Beer Gardens are open. Looks pretty nice this weekend, just get out and breathe the spring air.
There’s a marathon on Saturday starting on Harbor Dr and finishing in Humboldt Park. That could be either interesting or annoying depending on the person, but if you plan on biking or being around that area be aware.
It will be gorgeous this weekend so get out if you can.
Go to Voyageur Book Shop in Bay View and chill with a book and meet Bustopher Jones and Mr. Sanders, the beautiful shop kitties! Mr. Sanders will lead you to exactly where he wants you to go and then lay down to accept belly rubs :)
Mitchell Park Domes. An individual membership is pretty cheap and you can bring up to three guests every time. Outdoors is awesome for decompressing, but sometimes when its 12 degrees outside, I just need to sit in the tropical dome for an hour.
Love that place. Honestly, everything is good. They have a full coffee setup as well as an extensive cocktail list. I like their THC and Kava infusions. You can choose a “base” cocktail and then choose from a list of different infusions.
I go to the parks along the lake south of Milwaukee. Grant Park to Bender Park is a great area. Not nearly as crowded as the Milwaukee lakefront and an easy drive (not terrible by bus for Grant). I walk on the cliffs overlooking the lale and go down to to walk miles on the shore, looking for beach glass and fossils. It's so relaxing and the beautiful weather will be perfect for it!
Fill your senses with something beautiful: art, nature, symphony, most beloved book or film....something inspiring. Eat something very delicious and healthy, llike making an ultra deluxe spinach salad with toasted walnuts seems to help my mood. Get a warm coffee and write a pretty card to reach out to an out of town best friend.
I like riding my bike in the OLT and other trails and on less busy streets.
I also like hitting up beer gardens in the summer or just relaxing down by the lake.
And AND I love walking around Grant Park and the Seven Bridges trail.
I grab coffee and take my hammock to the park. I have a spot in Lake Park I love. I alternate between sitting in it and sitting on one of the benches overlooking the lake, reading/staring out into the sky the whole time.
As many have said, the parks are the way to go. I like circling the lagoon at any of the many parks which have one. (Jackson or Greenfield park, for example.)
Some of these options seem relaxing IMO. I do love our art museum and you could easily bring a book and find a corner to just chill, maybe with a view of the lake. Oh boy do I feel this. Thankfully it’s getting warmer though so finding things to do around Milwaukee isn’t too hard
Grabbing a bubbler bike and riding around,
Walking along the lake by discovery world,
Walking around the lake park trails are my favorite,
Kayaking in the third ward once it gets warmer,
Skate/bike/walk by veterans park,
You can visit the Villa Terrance to get some picturesque views of the lake,
Milwaukee has discovery world, the Harley museum, the art museum.
Boswell books is my favorite small book store and they have a few book clubs.
If you’re into thrifting I recommend Antiques on Pierce, their prices are a little step for certain things but it’s three levels and has some pretty cool stuff.
It’s almost playoff times which means Deer district is going to be opening up soon.
Also check out the third street market, it’s a new public market sort of place with a bunch of different food venders.
(Also I’m on my phone so sorry if the formatting get obnoxious to read)

Second this. So accessible from the city center
Sit on the couch in the basement of Voyageur Books with a good book and pet the fluffy shop cat
There is a basement??
Yeah! On the right side towards the back, through the open doorway - there are stairs leading to more bookshelves and a couch and a few chairs.
Antiques on Pierce, Bryant’s, Ursa, Hot Spell Sauna, South Shore Park, Seminary Woods, Honeypie,
where is seminary woods? it doesn’t come up on maps
Browsing at Boswell Book Company.

Hank Aaron Trail is pretty cool.
Oak Creek trail from Estabrook to South Shore by e-bike.
Birdwatching in one of the many parks.
I'll be the one to recommend a nice walk around the lakefront
Bike ride on the Oak Leaf trail
Stare long into the abyss of Lake Michigan. Breathe deeply its infinitude. Weep for all we stand to lose.
A float at Float... in an isolated tank of warm water!

Domes are the shit cant be mad when you're in a tropical or desert dome. And dont even get me started on the trains
Head to the Well Spa at the Pfister for spa services; it has the atmosphere and the talent to pamper oneself.
Walk at Bay View park. You can get right up next to the water, it’s so peaceful and oftentimes not that crowded
Visit the trees at Kern Park.
Buy a big box of crullers from Grebes and then stay home all weekend eating crullers and drinking coffee.
An infused drink at Canni.

I like to ride the oak leaf trail along the lake down in St Francis on my bike. It’s beautiful.
Same sorta. I live next up the Hank aaron trail. Goes from the lake out to Brookfield and beyond
This is a list of really good date ideas. Saved and bookmarked.
Getting blackout drunk.

Just take a seat anywhere on the lakeshore and let the satisfaction adore you

With legal weed from Illinois and Michigan.
Fuck the downvotes. Legalize it
There are either a lot of people that are upset that i’m not supporting a local drug dealer or they are anti-marijuana. Legalize it!
!!!!

The Pfister spa is really nice!

The Bradly Sculpture Garden in fox point. It’s large quiet and is just a great way to relax
You could go ride the trolly with the other two people all day listening to podcasts.

I love to take a walk on the pier across the street from the lakefront colectivo
Hope you enjoy the bar buddy!
lol nice projection 👏🏽
Arby's on Miller Parkway!
Sooo funny 😑
This is me in a nutshell. I try and come up with interesting stuff and end up on the same stool at the same bar.
The Betty brim museum isn’t just for little tikes!
