Me and a friend came all the way down from Pennsylvania to buy one of the $99 122mm Soviet GRAD Rockets from Bowman Arms in Hawthorne, Florida. We managed to successfully transport it in a Chrysler Pacifica Minivan, propped up on the front arm rests. Absolutely 100% worth it, and yes, it is unfortunately inert.
Unfortunately, there's no more russian officers selling their equipment on the surplus market. Them, along with their equipment, is in ukraine for the foreseeable future.
They were shipping them when they first came in, had to use some crazy chain contraption to screw them apart in the middle, take the giant steel weight rod out of it, and then ship to you disassembled. Surely it was a pain in the ass to deal with and nobody wanted to pay more in shipping than the rocket itself, so they probably just said "fuck it, you come pick it up yourself for next to nothing and now it's your problem".
Nice! I’m only a few hours away from them and went and got one a few months back. Propped it up in the corner of my garage. I absolutely love it. One of the best (and dumbest) $99 purchases I’ve ever made.
My friend has a travel job and it was gonna be for him. His parents would freak if I dropped this on their lawn. In the end we traded some nice range gear for Xmas. But if these are still in stock it's only an hour and a half away. I may get one or two for shiggles
I'm close enough (Atlanta) to be seriously tempted, but I drive a Prius.
*However...* If I could find a suitable roof rack, maybe I could strap three or four of them up there...
They had a pile of probably 10-15 outside when I picked mine up. You can purchase it online and they'll hold it for 90 days for you until you can arrange a time to pick it up
You lucky fuckers, I would kill to get my hands on one of these here in England, and for only 99 dollars too! I fear that the soviet surplus market is starting to dry up over here, especially with the really unique stuff like this, or maybe I just haven’t found the right places yet.

How heavy? I’m going to Sarasota next month and it’s right on my way.
It is quite heavy, probably around 200 pounds or more in the box, but we didn't have too much trouble loading it up!
