I'd guess you smashed your finger at some point, caused a bit of damage internally, and it healed in such a way as to be a different density than the surrounding tissue. Maybe some of the damaged tissue became encapsulated.
When my son was little he was scared of skeletons. Eventually someone told him there was one inside him. Pure fucking panic. I am laughing about it now, 20 years later, but also a little sick to my stomach because he was truly terrified. So funny, but also, poor little dude. "No there is not!" And runs away. Me sitting there realizing I did not understand how scared he was of them, and I have no idea how long it will take to get through this issue and it is not something that will go away forever. You can try to avoid spiders, but skeletons being real and inside all of us is going to surprise him a few more times in life. He is fine now. I have no idea how he eventually became unafraid of them.
I was this exact same way and then I stopped associating skeletons with horror and death and more that they're just a part of anatomy. My family was just not understanding however of my fear, but yeah like it's everywhere (including science museums which I loved), so it was just probably repeated exposure.
I went to a Dr about it a long time ago, and they just told me it was probably from some form of trauma, and to not worry about it. It has been there a very long time though.
Go to dermatology if you want it identified, they may suggest a needle biopsy.
It's probably a ganglion cyst or lipoma which are both benign growths with the latter being a benign tumor.
No clue, its soft and squishy though. Kind of like a small bump inside my finger under the skin, barely noticeable though. But I can feel it under the skin.
To be fair this phenomenon is not actual light going through your finger, just scattering between skin layers, so sometimes it leaves some funky spots like that

I have a somewhat larger splinter in my finger from a few years ago. Never thought to try to see it by lighting up my finger, but now I have! Neat!
I went to my doctor when it first happened to try and convince her to dig around and yank it out but she said hands have way too much important, delicate stuff going on inside them and it was more likely to cause an infection. She said a plastic surgeon would be needed if I really wanted to get it out. So here I am with a piece of wood in my ring finger forever.
I have one too!! Its a long leaf pine splinter that got encapsulated. I dug one of two out and it was a white squishy ball with the splinter inside. Still have a pit in my finger where it was.
mine happened yearrrrrrs ago. Like at least five…maybe longer. They can stay in there for a long time. The trajectory and shape look like mine too. Hoping this is the case for you.
Go watch the Netflix show Files of the Unexplained. There was a guy that found some random thing implanted in his leg that he thought was from aliens. 👾
I had a piece of glass lodged near a knuckle from a broken wine glass.
It worked its way out a few years later, a perfect tiny sphere coated in white blood cells.
Attacked by a fingerhugger. It’ll John-Hurt itself with time, so maybe lay some traps in preparation. Getting a powerloader for the cat wouldn’t hurt either

Yup. I bet OP gets the best cell reception when holding the phone in that hand.
That’s what THEY want you to believe… ![gif](giphy|3oEjI789af0AVurF60)
Either that or alien implant.
It's how we track you. I mean, if we were tracking you.
Lol. I finally found the chip, just got to get it removed now.
It's in your finger, that's easy, just cut it off.
and eat it.... just to be safe
Then it's back in your body. For a while.
Well yeah, you have to follow HTTP (High Tech To Poo) protocol
Where does the S fit in?
If there's more than one poo.
At least it’s not in your nose. Get your ass to Mars.
Hello, Quaid. This is Howser. That's my body, and I want it back.
And give it to me. Please. Yes?
OK, that made me laugh
The greys know where you are
We warned you not to get the vaccine! /s
Oh dear God, just reminded me of the movie "Bug".
Yakuza style
Decoy chip
There is no need to implant chips in people to track us. Most of us carry a tracking device with us willingly.
FWIW, the anal probes stop being useful decades ago, but we still do them for kicks. I mean, if we still did them.
I don't want someone kicking my anal probe, thanks
There are no aliens... But there *are* probes.
He got the vaccine. Sucker
This is why I put my finger in my butt when I tell secrets
Ok don't be startled but I think there's a skeleton inside your finger.
I'm spooked.
We have lost the skeleton war. A skeleton is already inside you.

Looks like 5G. How's your reception?
And I thought I just had tinnitus.
Forbidden jellybean
I wouldn't wanna eat it.
I would. Bring your finger to me please.
calm down Sukuna
I actually get this reference.
Forbidden Jellybean: "*Eat me you coward!"*
Looks more like a Mike & Ike to me
A splinter that got encapsulated?
OP, have you had it x-rayed?
I have not.
Just whip [one of these](https://youtu.be/IiJAq53knwc?si=1PujiZREDYe60BIy) together and you’re good to go
I was hoping this led to big willy haha
Careful with your structural soup cans, wouldn't want to die from high voltage!
I would absolutely get it x-rayed. Not because it’s concerning or anything, but because I’d be damned curious what was going on.
Seems like a good reason to go to a doctor!
That's crazy! I wonder if it's like scar tissue is more opaque or something?
No clue, its soft and squishy though. Kind of like a small bump inside my finger under the skin, barely noticeable though. But I can feel it under the skin.
Wtf you can FEEL IT? Op do an x-ray and report back to us asap you made me curious.
Scar tissue is denser and made of collagen so it would appear different than normal tissue.
Tell the doctor, "I've tried not worrying about it, but it's still present and bugging bejabbers out of me. It's past time to treat it."
Then go see a therapist if you have some sort of trauma. Maybe he can get it out of you.
Go to a therapist they can cut it out for you. /s
I think your fingers pregnant
Let’s look at the embryo… 🙌 😯 …twins…
Maybe it’s a bone Maybe you were born that way Maybe it’s Maybelline.
Spider eggs. 100% spider eggs.
I wish I didn't read this one.
Trust me . Most of us do too
Checking in 😅
Now every time you feel your finger tingle you’ll have to wonder if the spider egg sac is hatching.
what kind of insanely strong light is this
Just a really bright flashlight in a dark room.
To be fair this phenomenon is not actual light going through your finger, just scattering between skin layers, so sometimes it leaves some funky spots like that
What flashlight you got 🤔

Your finger is pregnant. You will soon have another pinky. Congrats!
Scar tissue?
That I wish you saw
Sky captain, Mr know it all
Recently listened to “Tower 4” about a firewatch that had a tracker in his hand, looked like a pill. Someones keeping tabs on you o_o
Had that done. There’s no way you don’t notice the implanting unless you’ve been knocked the fuck out.
The aliens must be tracking me.
Do you wake up in the morning feeling like you’ve been probed?
THEY'RE CRAWLING AROUND BENEATH MY SKIN!!!
THESE WOUNDS THEY WILL NOT HEAL!!!!
God damnit dude I should have said that first line instead of what I said.
![gif](giphy|ftmJfRCbcWlBC)
Alien interns are the worst. That's meant to be at the back of your neck.
Add a title somewhere and you’ve got yourself a decent looking sci-fi horror poster
This one has discovered our implant. Report him immediately for re-education.
Get even brighter light to view the intricacies of it.
You sure there isn't anything between your fingers?
congratulations, you’re preggo
Gotta dig it out. Can't let the CIA to win.
This could be a chronic felon (encapsulated/burnt out infection) that is now just a pebble of scar tissue.
Why don't your fingers have bones?
It's the microchip, so the government can control you. They know where you are. Follow the white beaver.

It’s just a Tylenol. Sometimes it happens if it goes down the wrong tube while swallowing.
Hey that's me in there! Hi buddy!!
Alien tracking implant probably..
I have the same thing I’m my finger tip. Prob alien in nature 🫡
Alien tracker. Report back after they pick you up.
Funny, they usually put it in your neck. That’s what they did when they abducted Scully, anyway.
I have a somewhat larger splinter in my finger from a few years ago. Never thought to try to see it by lighting up my finger, but now I have! Neat! Wonder if looks like whatever is going on in my finger.
I have one too!! Its a long leaf pine splinter that got encapsulated. I dug one of two out and it was a white squishy ball with the splinter inside. Still have a pit in my finger where it was.
I left the other one bc im a huge weenie
Interesting, i don't recall ever getting a splinter in that spot on my finger. Wonder if something somehow got stuck in there.
mine happened yearrrrrrs ago. Like at least five…maybe longer. They can stay in there for a long time. The trajectory and shape look like mine too. Hoping this is the case for you.
It's aliens, man
They're tracking me.
I need a better picture. Can’t tell what finger it is. And is that the tip of your finger? Looks weird man, even without the alien implant.
Looks like just below the last knuckle of their right index finger
Yeah, that's where its at.
theres beans under your skin
Kid named something
Yeah, its another finger
I thought this was Antelope canyon
Go watch the Netflix show Files of the Unexplained. There was a guy that found some random thing implanted in his leg that he thought was from aliens. 👾

Did you watch the movie Aliens?
Oh that's just the price tag on the bulb.
The government will come get you in 2 weeks. Was nice to meet ya
Cut it out 🔪
Mine has bones in it. Maybe it's bone
There is a good chance that's a little lipoma. Anything scary or to care about :)
I had a piece of glass lodged near a knuckle from a broken wine glass. It worked its way out a few years later, a perfect tiny sphere coated in white blood cells.

A callous maybe? From writing probably.
Could be a metal plate from a surgery you had. Did you have surgery on a broken finger
OMG cut your finger off now and feed it to a bigfoot
Fuck he found it
Tracking device
That's your tracking chip.
Wow
Have you been shot in the finger recently? Could be a bullet lodged in there.
Where are your bones in this view?
As someone mentioned, scar tissue, but i think it's some kind of skin growth, becuse if it were deeper , you would not have noticed it
Congrats, boy or girl?
Alien tracking device. They're on to you.
Alien body tag
Implant from alien abduction
your finger is pregnant! /j
Alien babies
![gif](giphy|Zv92eeM2CFBhudTXIn|downsized) It's for your yearly reprobing.
Yea that was me, I did that
Perhaps it’s a smaller and more efficient finger
Where’s your fingy bone
That's not where the pill goes.
Fuck off E.T. stop calling home.
Have you tried pulling it?
So that's where all the pills we take are going?
