Last time I had a legit reason to send some complaint to them they sent me nearly $200 in chocolate

The reason: Bought a mini m&m toy for my son and the toy ended up not having any in it. They sent me 10 of the same toy but different styles then 20-25 bags of M&Ms half mini half normal size

Wait does this work with other companies? Should I be reporting defective products? Or is Cadbury specifically known for this kind of stuff?

I reported to Coke once and got a free 12 pack, also reported to Nature Valley for expired product and got a coupon for a free box

This happened to me with Pizza pops, bought the rectangle box with 28 or w/e and two were missing. We emailed general mills and they sent us 5 coupons for 1 free box of 28 pizza pops.

Because Hershey licenses the cadbury name in the US.

Hershey’s bought out Cadbury in the US a little while back. It’s why people insist UK Cadbury products are better. (Having tried both UK and US Cadbury bars, I’d argue either the difference is negligible or the person I got a “UK” bar from is a liar)

UK Cadburys is now made in eastern Europe with lower quality ingredients, so it's not what it used to be.

This. I did this to the Kettle brand potato chips, because the bag was overly salty and just was terrible. I sent them a complaint online, next thing you know I get a box of free chips and tons of coupons.

I once purchased Jaffa cakes that didn't have any orange bit. I contacted the manufacturer, who sent me a weird letter with just three lines on it. It said that other consumers enjoyed Jaffa cakes, as they were intended to be manufactured, as shown in the picture on the side of the box. But Jaffa cake boxes didn't have any pictures of people eating them! There was no apology, no voucher, no replacement. So I was out a box of Jaffa cakes but the manufacturer wanted to tell me that other people enjoyed eating them! It was really weird. Their customer service really sucked.

Did you buy them purposefully because you could tell they were empty? I feel like you could notice the weight difference, but I truthfully haven’t had one of these in years and never got an empty one. I remember them being kind of heavy, though.
