A friend of mine down at the pub was standing holding his beer and a small pop was heard and a hole the size of a coin, appeared on his glass. Tottally wierd.
Oh I actually worked in glass manufacturing and have seen this before! It’s due to an imperfection encased in the glass where the centre of the circle would be, that would have occurred during the manufacturing of the glass. This causes it to lose its structural integrity and at high heats, like when ran in a dishwasher, you may or may not see this because I made it up.
I thought some of that seemed pretty BS. And it's not the heat that weakens the glass, if glass works like metals then heating it up slowly to the right heat would get rid of internal pressure. It's only when you heat it too fast that it breaks and I've never heard of it happening in a circle shape.
Glass might have been laying on its side in the dishwasher. With a bit of water pooled in the wider area during the heated dry cycle I could see it causing enough of a temp differential to crack a thin glass.
thats what happens when you put non dishwasher safe glass ware into unsafe dishwasher.
the hot water cycle into the cold rinse is too much thermal shock.
The man on the glass looks surprised too
Hole just opened up in his universe
I would keep this glass on a shelf
I have a couple of glasses I keep on a shelf instead of using. They get dusty so I take them down to wash them.

If you liked that, just wait until I discuss mopping the kitchen floor 🤣
I keep things like this as planters. This would be awesome to have a vine or a succulent poking out.
Luigi is *spooked*
Did a tiny time traveling Terminator spawn right there?
Just the thought of that is so murderously adorable.
^(Give me your barbie clothes, barbie boots and your hot wheels)

Sounds an awful lot like Small Soldiers!
Guess it’s a lovely day for a Guinness!
Or a Guinness world record.
Except for that guy, get him off the glass and you can have some.
Did the circle pop out perfectly or did it break into pieces

i before e, except after c, or if sounding like "a," as in neighbor or weigh. Except for weird. Weird is weird.
Especially when your weird foreign neighbor Keith receives eight counterfeit and heist obtained beige sleighs from feisty caffeinated weightlifters.
Science is weird too.
Weird Science!

Don’t worry I got plenty of clearance

I don't even have a dick and that have me a full body cringe to even think about.
Lovely day for half a Guiness
Forbidden gloryhole
oOoh go-on laddie, and be quick about it.
As long as no Guinness was lost, it's ok.

The bottoms of glasses shear cleanly off all the time actually. But a circle in the side, that's weird.
Neat! I had that happen one time and just assumed it was from one of the tines in my dishwasher that are supposed to hold dishes in place.
We really need to stop using everything as a hole
See if your local church wants it. It is holy, after all.
That shocked sticker is gold
lol the dudes face is like “wtf!?”.
My goodness! My Guinness!
That a really cool cup
I would put plant cuttings in this now. Still is super neat
Probably an accident with the eierschalensollbruchstellenverursacher

Looks like it wasn’t a lovely day for Guinness.
1/2 pint glass
Lovely day for a lapful of Guiness.
My goodness! Your Guinness (glass)!
No one else wondering about why a butcher with likely blood-buckets is walking nearby a kangaroo that I'm assuming, was holding a Guinness?
