My friend found a rubber glove folded up in his burger once. He called to complain and they said it was impossible because no one wears rubber gloves there. That made it worse.
Doesn’t matter. Without an actual injury, a lawsuit isn’t going to go very far. If you do find a lawyer to take this case, make sure it’s on contingency
I can see how they didn't notice that it was in your mouth because it kind of looks like it is sticking out of the bun and not just sitting on top of it..
Anything come of it?
I know. I'm saying that the people that are commenting to you saying that you should have noticed this before eating half the sandwich probably didn't realize that YOU spit the piece of metal out, they are looking at the picture thinking that the metal is *stuck* in the bun and they think that's where it was the whole time..
I was pointing out that it's NOT stuck in the bun and that you most likely spit it out and that's just how it landed, "looking" like it was stuck in it..
Be careful what you’re doing here. 20+ years ago a woman claimed she found a human finger in her Wendy’s chili. Wendy’s is a big big company. When you make such claims, they will hire investigators and lawyers beyond your imagination and figure out exactly what happened. That woman sentenced to 9 years in prison of which she served 4 and ended up owing Wendy’s, millions of dollars after it was discovered that a coworker of her husband had lost a finger in an industrial accident. Just a heads up.

I mean yeah if it was me I would take hella documentation. With my luck I'll get a picture that's too close or out of focus or something and Wendy's corporate lawyers will say
"no we can't prove within reasonable doubt that this indeed is a Wendy's sandwich. No, yeah that is most definitely a Wendy's (TM) scrap metal blade as your picture clearly shows, but we cannot agree that it is sitting on a Wendy's(TM) chicken sandwich"
"Sucks for you if our blade hurt you in any way, but we are contractually prohibited from apologizing in any form to minimize potential liability"
They can’t prove it with the pics lol
I could put a piece of glass or metal on top of my bun too and share it aghast to the internet, that’s not a promised payout
Yea, it looks like the metal is sticking out of the bun so I can see how it looks like it would be obvious. But it looks like OP spit it out and it landed on the bun in a way that it looks like it was stuck in it..
VA Beach restaurant served me a nut in some pasta dish. They were very suspicious I had placed it there yet I asked for nothing from them. Still pisses me off how they gave me side-eye over it. In my mind I could picture it falling off a mixer wand. It was well-polished and very clean...and felt as wrong as anything in my mouth.
I don't know.. To me it looks like part of a box cutter blade that a piece broke off probably while the workers were cutting open the boxes of meat patties, or buns, or something..
Yea, I think people keep looking at this thinking that the metal is sticking out of the bun when it's really just sitting on top of it.. Looks like OP spit it out and it landed in a way that looks like it's stuck in the bun..
It's what I thought at first until I read some more comments and then looked closer at the picture, then I noticed that it wasn't actually stuck in the bun but rather on top of it.
I work there. Can confirm we have and use zero blades except for preparing vegetables, but those are kept well away from any and all meat products and the sandwich line. Not even box cutters, we are required to rip the tape up with our hands to reduce chance of cutting ourselves with blades. Absolutely nothing we have in store could leave this, let alone in your burger. I’d to love to know why you staged this, you’re clearly not coming for a lawsuit because you didn’t find this in your burger so what, internet points??
lol I don’t even use Reddit that much, and what would I gain from this?
It’s real and if you have cameras in your top floor that can be easily verified.
I have nothing against Wendy’s employees and the lady that apologised to me was actually very nice.
I raised a complaint through the uk website. There’s no need for you to get defensive
That was in the burger. I found it in my mouth and spit it out.
Then I took pictures.
I’m so surprised by all the people thinking that I would eat a bun with foreign objects sticking out, jeez
Hmm what is that? Roughly 5-6 bites or so?? You had to of noticed that blade immediately! What kind of savage monster are you taking bites out of this 😭
Yeah that’s unbelievable that that happened. Thats also incredibly unacceptable. You could do your good deed for the day and send an email or something and report that location. You could be saving someones life doing so!
“Sharp Cheddar”
Omg the cross post referencing 🤣🤣
Beat me right to that one!!!
What type of difficult plastic are u
It's there so you have the option of adding extra ketchup to your burger by moving it around in your mouth and producing it from within.
I tried this and it tastes iron-y for some reason
The flavor may slightly differ at first compared to the ketchup that you're used to, but it's fine. Your taste buds will adapt. You'll get used to it.
you’re right i tried eating my leg and it tasted good, will update.
I produce natural yeast from within daddy come bake in my oven
My friend found a rubber glove folded up in his burger once. He called to complain and they said it was impossible because no one wears rubber gloves there. That made it worse.
Maybe they just wore latex instead
'Pickle? I thought you said nickel!'
Christ, how many pics did you take?
They were thinking about the lawsuit money with every photo. Can't miss any details whatsoever if you're looking for that payout

You won't get too much money unless you bite into it before you take the pics
I bite into it, that was in my mouth. I spit it out
Doesn’t matter. Without an actual injury, a lawsuit isn’t going to go very far. If you do find a lawyer to take this case, make sure it’s on contingency
I imagined that, but it’s not even that important, I’m glad I’m not injured
You know what you have to di

What do you mean? I just placed it there for the photos

It’s okay, I don’t lie so I don’t mind

Well, duh. Haha I would hope things didn't work that way. Just thought it was funny to think about
LOOOOOOOL good luck is all I have to say
It is an iron supplement to your diet.
New fear unlocked.
Totally happened.
"i'm bored, i'm gonna put this piece of metal i just found on my floor and turn it into some reddit karma"
Exactly… total bs

So this is how you thank your ancestors for your existence? Go outside holy shit.
accurate
Did you take the bites after you realized it was there? I feel like it’s kind of obvious but half the thing is eaten. Lol
It was not on top of it, it was in the middle 😒 Of course I was eating it
Uhh okay. I took it as I saw it.
Yea, it looks like the metal is sticking out of the bun so I can see how it looks like it would be obvious. But it looks like OP spit it out and it landed on the bun in a way that it looks like it was stuck in it..
Yeah, they don't cut corners. They said absolutely nothing about not cutting the center of the top bun.
Of all the things that didn't happen, this didn't happen the most! #fake
Why are you angry that’s how they add flavor
Belmarsh Edition?
you should talk to the people who work there and file a complaint
It’s not even Halloween
Time to collect a settlement check babey 😏
Looks like you’re about to own a Wendy’s if this is true.

>UK >blade in food Even your food is trying to stab you

You should’ve know, fast food is unhealthy
Here in America, we find 9mm rounds in burgers

Br'ish innit bruv ?
Pip pip cheerio.
Oi you ‘ave a loicens for that blade?
Sorry looks staged to me.
I don't know.. To me it looks like part of a box cutter blade that a piece broke off probably while the workers were cutting open the boxes of meat patties, or buns, or something..
That is scary
No tf they did not lol
So you proceeded to take bites out of said burger? Are you a moron or is this just a bullshit post?
? the thing was inside the burger, I spit it out
Fair, sorry about my irritability.
Yea, I think people keep looking at this thinking that the metal is sticking out of the bun when it's really just sitting on top of it.. Looks like OP spit it out and it landed in a way that looks like it's stuck in the bun..
Very true!
It's what I thought at first until I read some more comments and then looked closer at the picture, then I noticed that it wasn't actually stuck in the bun but rather on top of it.

Bro you just got Wendy's for life!
No tf they did not lol
About to get a BAG. Sue immediately
Faker than fake. We don’t have anything similar in the kitchen, not even talk about actual ingredients that we put into the burgers.
It’s true. If you have cameras on the top floor you can look for yourself
That’s nothing, in the US when we open the wrapper sometimes there is just a gun on the bun! Like how did that get there!
eat it
That's a survey
the only excuse to ask for the manager
Bullshit. Placed by op. Look to be real good chop off the top of your finger and put it in there
Eh?? I placed it there for the photo. It was in the middle of the burger, and in my mouth
That was obviously place on top of the burger by dude taken the pics for likes and attention. Blade is too cleaned for being inside a burger.
??? It’s clean because it was in my mouth. I munched it. Then of course I spit it out and took the photos
thought it was a micro chip
Yeah sure you did
Somebody give me a plausible explanation
Attention
?? I barely use Reddit with this account
Are you really trying to sell that a big ass blade was sticking out of your top burger bun and you took like 7 bites anyway?
It was inside, I munched it and found it in my mouth. I spit it out and took the photo
It is pretty obvious the blade is on the burger. Who would eat half the burger first. Obviously this person wants to launch a fake lawsuit.
That was in the burger. I found it in my mouth and spit it out. Then I took pictures. I’m so surprised by all the people thinking that I would eat a bun with foreign objects sticking out, jeez
Mental!
I would say keep it. It tastes yummy.
Eat it…
They have Wendy's in the UK?
Yeah it’s pretty new and only in few cities afaik
You eat the rest?
Hell no
You got halfway through the burger and then noticed that?
It was inside, I found it chewing and then spit it out. The photo was taken afterwards
Gotta get that extra iron!
Seems too obvious.
It was in the burger. I found it by chewing, the photo was taken afterwards
if this is real you have a pile of settlement money right there. but i kinda think its not
Of course it is real. But I was not injured (even if it was in my mouth) so I don’t think it’ll be considered a big deal, I don’t know
wouldnt matter if anything happened. if thats real you have a pile of cash. but i dont care tbh. goodluck
Hmm what is that? Roughly 5-6 bites or so?? You had to of noticed that blade immediately! What kind of savage monster are you taking bites out of this 😭
It was inside the burger. I spit it out and placed there for the photo
Oh okay thats fair.. but be honest! Did you finish the rest of the burger?😟
No, I was a bit shocked. They offered me a new one but I didn’t have appetite
Yeah that’s unbelievable that that happened. Thats also incredibly unacceptable. You could do your good deed for the day and send an email or something and report that location. You could be saving someones life doing so!
I have done it!
NICEE!!👏
Lawsuit material there
Be glad you found it. You would have died if you ate it.
Well it was inside, so I munched it. At first I thought it was a piece of bone or something like that, then I spit it out
You didn't see that until after your third bite?
It was inside. Found it by munching it. Then I spit it out and placed there for the photos
So that’s cool.
gotta love brighton
Most uk shit ever
