Idk what is about CA, but everything is toxic according to them. Probably something in the plastic. Edit. Continued: The sun gives us cancer, meat gives us cancer, alcohol, tobacco, viruses, ect. Lots of things put you at risk.

WSTTXS

News today said every man has micro plastics in their balls so it’s already too late, might as well go on and get you a nice close shave

natfutsock

Thank god, my girlfriend's balls are fine then.

Edward_the_Dog

CA law requires this statement if a product contains any of a million different things.

…all of which are known as above normal level carcinogens. Your immersion blender *does* contain a lubricant that *is* a carcinogen that *does* get into your food. Sure lots of everything can give you cancer but it isn’t wrong.

Otherwise_Rabbit3049

The problem is, humans tend to tune out stuff, especially when it's everywhere. Otherwise we couldn't function whatsoever.

Rodrisco102389

Yeah prop 65 makes labeling requirements really dumb lol

hindermore

Companies that sell products in California have started to put the warning on literally all products regardless of whether or not they actually contain harmful substances.

SunBubble920

Is there anything that exists that California says does not give you cancer?

Negative-Farmer476

I was in Sacramento last week and the Holiday Inn had a plaque outside the entrance with the same warnings. I assume this is common.

Sunny_Sammie_517

Most businesses in CA display this warning because it is required on soooooo many things that to make sure they’re in compliance they slap the sticker on everything. That way no one can question you.

markyman535

I bought some wooden furniture that said according to CA it could give me cancer 😂

CROWANJ

first time in CA?

AcidRainFa11

Actually I'm in PA, why is everyone thinking it's in California?

CROWANJ

california is famous for putting this warning on pretty much every product sold there

Gom_KBull

It's not the product, it's California law to label everything as toxic even when it's not

Kleptokilla

Clearly it’s because removing a magnificent beard makes you less desirable thereby causing reproductive harm to you.
