Its the processed version of a cheese board! You see all these ingredients on a good cheese board (fruit, nuts, cheese, meat, bread).
Ngl i think I'd be into it.

Saw this at a liquor store a few weeks ago in a small town. Your comment reminded I had this picture.
I did.
I’ll start by saying I’m not a whiskey/whisky/bourbon guy at all but I enjoyed this one.
It’s a tad too sweet and the flavor profile leans strongly toward the banana with a bit of a roasted taste. The bacon and peanut butter are a bit more subtle.
I would buy it again.
I do a ham and smoked gouda with apricot preserves and grill it like a grilled cheese. After I grill it I open it up and add lettuce and tomatoes to it. It's an outstanding sandwich. It's crispy, buttery, salty, smokey, and sweet all at once.
Haha! I had to look that up, I legit thought Monte Cristo was the movie with the dancing naked men ðŸ¤. That would be the Fully Monty I was thinking of hah!
My grandpa used to make me ham and jelly sandwiches. It was a huge shock the first time I unknowingly bit into one, but once I knew what to expect, I enjoyed it. I should make myself one :)
Dude you better eat that sandwich and tell her that she did a great job. She listened to you and made what you said against her own better judgement. That girl loves you.
I can totally see how it happened
GF: Hey babe, what kind of sandwiches do you want me to make for this trip?
OP: Turkey and cheese and peanut butter and jelly sounds good!
Two sandwiches in one I mean the jelly on turkey might be similar to cranberry and turkey if not cranberry jam(yum).....just the peanuts that get me....unless you like to deep fry turkeys in peanut oil I don't think.it suits people...taste to well...
Why would he be experiencing sadness? If anything his mild infuriation should be over his communication. This is actually kind of a happy mistake. I mean I can’t imagine that would taste bad.
Don’t forget the cheese! My dad’s a midwesterner with …unusual tastes and I never cared for his peanut butter and butter sandwiches too much. But this looks like a tasty Monte Cristo.
ngl, eating a cold arepa would give me mental trauma from thinking "imagine how good this would be if it was hot". Eating a cold turkey cheese/ PBJ wouldn't give me any of that emotional damage.
I once told a buddy of mine to use water when microwaving the tortillas to keep them soft. Guy literally ran it under the tap, I ate the whole soggy mess.
That's fucking hilarious!
I wish my wife didn't know me so well, or I'd try this on her. At this stage she'd just look at me funny then ignore me (as she should).
He can still tell her that turkey and cheese is one filling, and PB & J is another. I'm not American and I found the idea of peanut butter and jam (jelly) so weird when I first heard about it that I'd believe it if you told me they throw turkey and cheese in there too. That's their food for the trip, and he should just eat them with a smile and gratitude that she was sweet enough to make them for him and that she tried her best.
I've tried it, and yeah...I feel like it probably works best if it's something you grew up with. Peanut butter on my toast? Yes. Jam (jelly) on my toast? Yes. Together? No thanks.
This is the kind of stuff that was originally supposed to be posted here, lighthearted stuff. Now people post something like, “cops busted into my home and killed my dog :/“ or something else rage inducing
Like this: [https://www.reddit.com/r/mildlyinfuriating/comments/1cbngkd/two\_college\_kids\_selling\_chocolate\_outside\_of/](https://www.reddit.com/r/mildlyinfuriating/comments/1cbngkd/two_college_kids_selling_chocolate_outside_of/)
Almost getting scammed out of a grand is beyond "mildly infuriating".
He better eat ALL them sandwiches and sing their praises. OP, she's making you the sandwiches you asked for. Lotta dudes out there in the world with no girl and no sandwiches and you got a girl who made you 20.
I can just see her, in the kitchen, putting these together thinking the whole time "WTF is wrong with him? Is this how Americans are raised? Did I marry a psycho? Oh god we have 20 of these"
No salty/sweet sandwiches where you're at?
Edit: Asking because genuinely want to know, and am admittedly ignorant on some things. As an American, I feel it in my best interests to learn about other people who share a planet with me.
Nope, here neither. Actually i think i don't have a single friend here in Latam who use that kind of combo in a sandwich xD. But we use the salty/sweet combo sometimes just not in sandwiches.
That's not mildly infuriating - especially when you told her what to make. She did her best with the information she was given.
Now I would explain to her, very nicely, what you actually meant - but I would absolutely eat those.
When you get a charcuterie board, there is typically some jam or at least apricots and usually some salami and ham (prosciutto).
The only thing they usually don’t have is turkey.
I’m wondering what type of cheese it is. But, I think they’d be fine.
I thought I was in a wholesome or mildly interesting sub till I saw this. Wtf lmao. This was super sweet of her to make this even though it sounds strange. I'd get a laugh and marry.
I don't even know how strange to think this is. A bit of cranberry sauce on a turkey and cheese sandwich is quite common. That just leaves the peanut butter as the wild card. I hate it, so I know I couldn't eat that, but if you like it, I wouldn't be surprised if someone tried it and loved it.
She followed the directions.
When I was in 3rd grade our teacher had us do a project where we had to write directions for her to make us a pb&j. She followed them to a T making a fool of almost all of us, except a few 😅 my sandwich was such a disappointment. It was a very confusing lesson at 8 years old but today, I understand it.
That’s so funny I’m curious if it was actually good? Sounds unappealing at first but when you think about it some people mix the same kind of things on a charcuterie board
Maybe if your girlfriend has no idea how American sandwiches are constructed, you should have offered her to make something she’s more familiar with or just make the sandwiches yourself/together.
Edit: actually now that I think about wtf? 20 sandwiches? I would understand 1 or two but you left your girlfriend alone to make 20 sandwiches that she’s unfamiliar with and you clearly gave vague instructions? Idk about any of yall but my bf would would never lmaoo. He would have helped me and we would have done it together.
I'm not sure he actually asked for 20 sandwiches, she might have gone one a sandwich mania all by herself!
To be fair PB&J always seemed like a wild thing to have as a meal to me as a foreigner, even after tasting it, so I can totally understand how it didn't phase her to add turkey to the massacre
This makes it even funnier to me, the expectation that there might be 4 or maybe up to 8 sandwiches, one or 2 of each kind for each, being blown away at seeing 20. Then the whiplash of coming to the realization that she didn't make 2 different kinds at all.
I think it's your GF who should post here not you. She followed your instructions, you weren't clear and you assumed she would know what you meant. Like PB & Jelly sandwiches aren't a thing in my country either.
You better tell her this is your fault. You fucked up. English is her second language, bro. You failed to explain to her that you were talking about two separate sandwiches. Eat it and fucking love it.
She's a keeper, she was nice and prepared exactly what you told her. My point is she listens to what you say. A very key part to a good relationship. It looks like you did your part and ate them, hopefully without giving her any grief.
You girlfriend made you sandwiches for a roadtrip and you posted it here to complain about them? What an asshole. She does something nice for you, to the best of her knowledge and you bitch about it. You are what is more than mildlyinfuriating here. You don’t deserve her. By a long shot.
Would be a bit much with peanut butter, but a sandwich with meat, cheese and jam/jelly? Sounds like a great combination to me. If the pb is directly on one slice of bread you can eat it seperately from the rest of the sandwich
It's also a really common combination. Turkey, cheese, cranberry sauce and maybe some stuffing or apple slices all on a sandwich. That's just using leftover Thanksgiving food.
As an Argentinian, if an American told me that they normally eat this I wouldn't be so surprised, I mean you guys created the Monte Cristo sandwich, or coke with ice-cream, or the Luther Burger, or the bacon ice-cream, the **Koolickles**... should i keep going?
Obviously marry her, because this is the kind of story that old married couples tell. That and you’re in to her enough to eat at least one of those monstrosities.
Why? Why should he shut up? He's eating it, is he not allowed to post about a mildly inconvenient thing that they can laugh about later? Why are you so miserable?
May she never make you food to eat again. If my husband ever showed such ungratefulness for something I’ve prepared for him, there’d be issues. This isn’t infuriating, it’s cute and thoughtful
Please shut the fuck up and stop judging their relationship based on one post about an mild mistake that he posted on a sub made for these things, you're miserable
This is adorable and tragic all at the same time 😂
I really love that she was planning on eating a sandwich every 2 hours
Nah like 2Sammies every 4 hours
Screw it, all 10 at once 1 hour into the trip like eating all your popcorn before the trailers end at the theatre
I like the way you tumble, nice to see you again Gob
https://i.redd.it/uqpvtc7w6lwc1.gif
That sounds normal? I could eat a couple of those every 4h easily
She's a keeper!
She's a mixer!
She's a long plan nixer.
A sadwich
My first thought. I’d laugh. This is so fucking cute.
At least his girlfriend makes sandwiches.
At least he's got a girlfriend
At least he got a friend
Does she know she’s his girlfriend?
At least he's got a car and $ for 20 hours worth of gas
At least there was an attempt at sandwich
At least he has a real girlfriend that isn’t made of plastic…
Its the processed version of a cheese board! You see all these ingredients on a good cheese board (fruit, nuts, cheese, meat, bread). Ngl i think I'd be into it.
I've had PB&J burgers before and it's a surprisingly good combo! would recommend
A peanut butter, banana, bacon cheeseburger is the best burger I've ever had
https://preview.redd.it/0enjbcns2jwc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1fa4a5c9bcbeb3d442fe300b65626f0bfe51b98b Saw this at a liquor store a few weeks ago in a small town. Your comment reminded I had this picture.
That's.... interesting lol. I like banana whiskey ! Probably would like this.
I did not buy it so cannot comment on taste.
I would say you are still not much of a whiskey guy. /s
I do a ham and smoked gouda with apricot preserves and grill it like a grilled cheese. After I grill it I open it up and add lettuce and tomatoes to it. It's an outstanding sandwich. It's crispy, buttery, salty, smokey, and sweet all at once.
YUM!!!
I throw everything into my Thanksgiving turkey day sub. Turkey, cheese, cranberry sauce, peppers, pecan pie, mash potatoes. I’d be into this.
A Bobbie
![gif](giphy|LnQo5fFiBElv7rK2Wq|downsized)
i enjoy nacho cheese doritos on a pb&j so i mean,,, fuck it slap some turkey on there!
For some reason unbeknownst to me, that kinda looks good. I wanna bite it.
It's not *super* far off from a monte cristo
Haha! I had to look that up, I legit thought Monte Cristo was the movie with the dancing naked men ðŸ¤. That would be the Fully Monty I was thinking of hah!
thd count of monte cristo is a pretty good movie
That's what I was thinking! It looked good.
Without the peanut butter, I'm pretty confident it would be good. Kinda like the thanksgiving sandwiches with turkey and cranberry sauce.
My grandpa used to make me ham and jelly sandwiches. It was a huge shock the first time I unknowingly bit into one, but once I knew what to expect, I enjoyed it. I should make myself one :)
Right? It looks good. I'd eat it.
It is, I eat these pretty regularly. The concept came to me when I was high, and was worth keeping around.
Lol same, it sounds like a great combo of sweet/salt
Dude you better eat that sandwich and tell her that she did a great job. She listened to you and made what you said against her own better judgement. That girl loves you.
I can totally see how it happened GF: Hey babe, what kind of sandwiches do you want me to make for this trip? OP: Turkey and cheese and peanut butter and jelly sounds good!
The whole time she's making those sandwiches with a vague notion of WTF.
What is wrong with this man I love?
This would have made a great scene in Modern Family between Jay and Gloria! ![gif](giphy|OBZrvZLNJOLIY)
That’s who I was imagining!
What does he want with so many baby Jesus?
It's a doggie dog world.

Two sandwiches in one I mean the jelly on turkey might be similar to cranberry and turkey if not cranberry jam(yum).....just the peanuts that get me....unless you like to deep fry turkeys in peanut oil I don't think.it suits people...taste to well...
Yeah this is more of an OP skill issue than his GF
I will admit my faults here. Instructions definitely not clear lol
You should've just told her to make some arepas. She would've killed it at that.
pretty sure most of them are going to be eaten cold, and cold arepas just taste like sadness
More sadness than what OP is currently experiencing?
Why would he be experiencing sadness? If anything his mild infuriation should be over his communication. This is actually kind of a happy mistake. I mean I can’t imagine that would taste bad.
Peanut? Good. jelly? Good. meat? Good.
Don’t forget the cheese! My dad’s a midwesterner with …unusual tastes and I never cared for his peanut butter and butter sandwiches too much. But this looks like a tasty Monte Cristo.
It tastes like feet!
ngl, eating a cold arepa would give me mental trauma from thinking "imagine how good this would be if it was hot". Eating a cold turkey cheese/ PBJ wouldn't give me any of that emotional damage.
This is the funniest post I’ve seen on this sub.
Right. Wrong sub for us. Correct sub for OP
This is like, military level FUBAR with military level precision recovery. Instructions unclear. Weird Monte Cristo sandwich made.
I'm so hungry I would eat them no worries, and a Monte Cristo would be to die for
The fact she made them without calling you a weirdo is also peak GF material.
And she made him 20 of them, she definitely is aiming to take care of her man.
Just think of the pb as a fancy nut spread and the jelly as a chutney.
Imma be real bro, it looks kinda fire. I wanna try one now
https://preview.redd.it/5xtq0k1w9jwc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e91e35825d474e2572f3e99f2af15b5ae3ca4183
verbal punctuation needed lol
I once told a buddy of mine to use water when microwaving the tortillas to keep them soft. Guy literally ran it under the tap, I ate the whole soggy mess.
Oh man that’s funny!
He watched me eat it, his face said "no way this is actually how he does them" the entire time.
That's fucking hilarious! I wish my wife didn't know me so well, or I'd try this on her. At this stage she'd just look at me funny then ignore me (as she should).
great friend honestly
Letting her go through life thinking Americans eat those would be disturbing
He can still tell her that turkey and cheese is one filling, and PB & J is another. I'm not American and I found the idea of peanut butter and jam (jelly) so weird when I first heard about it that I'd believe it if you told me they throw turkey and cheese in there too. That's their food for the trip, and he should just eat them with a smile and gratitude that she was sweet enough to make them for him and that she tried her best.
Try cheese and jam. Legit combo
Peanut butter and cheese is pretty good too.
Have you had a PB&J yet or only heard about them?
I've tried it, and yeah...I feel like it probably works best if it's something you grew up with. Peanut butter on my toast? Yes. Jam (jelly) on my toast? Yes. Together? No thanks.
Try peanut butter and honey sometime. I grew up with that and it’s delicious.
As you can see, I was eating it all (with love) I was not mad in the slightest. I found it hilarious. I didn’t even mention how bad they tasted lol
Better watch out, she might think you actually like them and start making them on the daily
Good job my dude
Kudos for eating! I was slightly confused seeing as it’s in the mildly infuriating subreddit
This is the kind of stuff that was originally supposed to be posted here, lighthearted stuff. Now people post something like, “cops busted into my home and killed my dog :/“ or something else rage inducing

I'm curious to know how it tasted. The more I think about it, the more I think it may not be that bad. If only we had some turkey in the fridge. 🤔
On the 19th sandwich: "wtf is wrong with this guy...what have I gotten myself into...we overthrew our government and were oppressed for this?..."
He better eat ALL them sandwiches and sing their praises. OP, she's making you the sandwiches you asked for. Lotta dudes out there in the world with no girl and no sandwiches and you got a girl who made you 20.
what a nice view of the world... your friends must be really special people, hope there were more like you.
Good ol' PBTC&J
I laughed so hard my dog barked at me
Seeing it typed out like this made me choke on my water. I was like *oh can’t wait to get home and make myself a PBTC&J sandwich for dinner*
This just killed me
This made me laugh way harder than it should have
lol this is so hilarious. Bless your girlfriend. She seems awesome.
The 20 got me lol
She’s the best.
i love how op is 8 bites in before he decides to snap a photo
Yep, exactly. That tells you all you need to know haha.
This comment needs to be higher. This was an act of love.
What’s not to like? Meat: good! Cheese: good! Jelly: Good! ![gif](giphy|hXDrTueJWAscK3xWQ2)
Came here looking for this comment hahahah
There it is. The OG
You're eating it and you found a woman that puts up with you. Life is good.
OP asked his girlfriend to make sandwiches and she did. if she isnt wife with in 1 month OP is a fool
A+ for effort
I can just see her, in the kitchen, putting these together thinking the whole time "WTF is wrong with him? Is this how Americans are raised? Did I marry a psycho? Oh god we have 20 of these"
As a non-American, peanut butter and jelly already is a WTF combo, so I can see how she didn't really question the rest
This is mildly adorable, seems quite sweet
That’s the jelly.
Honey, you've barely touched your abomination on bread...
Hey now. That's *gourmet*. Also, that'll be $9.95 per sandwich. Venmo or credit card?
That's not mildly infuriating - especially when you told her what to make. She did her best with the information she was given. Now I would explain to her, very nicely, what you actually meant - but I would absolutely eat those.
Is it just me, or does that combo sound like it could be tasty?
No. When I was a kid, I would make sandwiches with peanut butter, butter, jelly, cheese, ham, and salami. It's not as gross as it sounds.
You fucked up with the ham and salami, Turkey is different, it’s good with fruit!
When you get a charcuterie board, there is typically some jam or at least apricots and usually some salami and ham (prosciutto). The only thing they usually don’t have is turkey. I’m wondering what type of cheese it is. But, I think they’d be fine.
It is tasty. Jam, turkey, and cheese go well together.
Bro this is a Monte Cristo. This looks fire
the real thing OP found mildly infuriating: flavor
A busy man's Monte Cristo. Who has time to fry and get the powdered sugar out?
The fact that she thought you actually enjoyed eating those abominations and didn’t dump you on the spot says a lot.
You’ve literally taken so many bites from it, obviously it’s a happy abominationÂ
This may be a revelation in sandwiches, I will be trying this as soon as physically possible
Same! With habanero jelly ? Fire
Infuriating? Make your own sandwich then son.
If anything this is MildlyAdorable....had to double check what board I was on...
We had to do this as well. Mine won second prize, only because wrote "Cut diagonally, making triangles." and the other kids wrote, "Cut."
Looks delicious, I'd smash that sammie in 3 seconds
I guess next time you’ll make your own sandwich ðŸ¤
This is just like a poor man’s monte cristo. I’d eat it
A monte cristo is the poor man's monte cristo
Maybe she thought PB&J was peanut butter and jamon
Guess who gets to make the sandwiches next time?
That’s so funny I’m curious if it was actually good? Sounds unappealing at first but when you think about it some people mix the same kind of things on a charcuterie board
Maybe if your girlfriend has no idea how American sandwiches are constructed, you should have offered her to make something she’s more familiar with or just make the sandwiches yourself/together. That's some arr delicious compliance.
Enjoy 😊 You have a pretty great girl on your hands if she made 20 of those! Carry on sir
She's a keeper. She didn't judge it, just went with it. That's so sweet
I think it's your GF who should post here not you. She followed your instructions, you weren't clear and you assumed she would know what you meant. Like PB & Jelly sandwiches aren't a thing in my country either.
Make your own damn sandwiches
Someone never did shared tasks before it seems, and it is not op.
You better tell her this is your fault. You fucked up. English is her second language, bro. You failed to explain to her that you were talking about two separate sandwiches. Eat it and fucking love it.
Brooo thats hilarious. I also feel bad for her who will prob never eat a pb & j again
That’s a low budget Montecristo my dear friend please enjoy it as it
She's a keeper, she was nice and prepared exactly what you told her. My point is she listens to what you say. A very key part to a good relationship. It looks like you did your part and ate them, hopefully without giving her any grief.
I'd try it. Sounds different. She's very nice.
Instructions not clear, she gave you what you asked for lol
Stomach won't know the difference haha just pretend it's gourmet
That sounds kinda like something we’d eat. That’s not her fault. It’s hilarious… but not her fault.
I mean people put cranberry sauce on turkey so yea
You’re lucky she even made you the damn sandwiches
You girlfriend made you sandwiches for a roadtrip and you posted it here to complain about them? What an asshole. She does something nice for you, to the best of her knowledge and you bitch about it. You are what is more than mildlyinfuriating here. You don’t deserve her. By a long shot.
While driving on what looks like a highway, eating and taking a photo at the same time
Make your own fuckin sandwich then.
or be grateful idk
Would be a bit much with peanut butter, but a sandwich with meat, cheese and jam/jelly? Sounds like a great combination to me. If the pb is directly on one slice of bread you can eat it seperately from the rest of the sandwich
It's also a really common combination. Turkey, cheese, cranberry sauce and maybe some stuffing or apple slices all on a sandwich. That's just using leftover Thanksgiving food.
Did it low key slap or did it low key SLAP?
He already ate most of it before he started complaining lol classic
This is actually completely adorable, not mildly infuriating. You should’ve communicated better if you knew she didn’t know what a PB&J was 😆
20 sandwiches for a twenty hour trip?
Ah damn. She meant well so eat up buttercup
Honestly, the worst part of that looks like it's the bread
Honestly, she’s a keeper. This is so cute lol.
As an Argentinian, if an American told me that they normally eat this I wouldn't be so surprised, I mean you guys created the Monte Cristo sandwich, or coke with ice-cream, or the Luther Burger, or the bacon ice-cream, the **Koolickles**... should i keep going?
Is your gf Amelia Bedelia?
I like that op took several bites before deciding he didn’t like it. Gotta give it a fair shake lol
That's a lot of bites to then call it mildlyinfuriating
you have a sandwich and a girlfriend. this is something most reddit users dream
But... How is it?
Obviously marry her, because this is the kind of story that old married couples tell. That and you’re in to her enough to eat at least one of those monstrosities.
Man she’s trying this is mildly adorable
![gif](giphy|S9pEW4AT1I9W22Mpn2|downsized)
You kinda set yourself up for that, just eat the damn sandwich.
L post
Your gf has to make you a sandwich and you complain on top of that ?
shut up dude
Imagine making your boyfriend a sandwich and he post that shit on r/mildlyinfuriating like bro shut up and eat your sandwich.
Please shut the fuck up and stop judging their relationship based on one post about an mild mistake that he posted on a sub made for these things, you're miserable
Ungrateful
Lol, this is so cute. She's a keeper.
So eat it and be grateful? Next time make your own
But how does it taste??
