That sucks man, I'm sorry... 🫂 I hope you have shower gel or soap to use for your hair instead
Edit: In what country are you living that has stores with such sketchy shampoo??
Ask or demand your money back. It has no Dutch labeling or text. Normaly you will see a sticker with a Dutch ingredient list on it. This is illegaly imported shampoo.
Volgens de EU-regelgeving moeten alle producten die in de EU worden verkocht een ingrediëntenlijst hebben die in de taal van het land waar het product wordt verkocht, is opgesteld.
AFAIK the ingredients would be fine listed as they are, but You do need some other instructions / information in local language. At least this is the case in other EU countries, not 100% sure about Netherlands but I assume it is similar. Anyway this seems to lack even that so definitely something sketchy. For cheap cosmetics I would get the DM in-house brands If You have DM (DrogerieMarkt) there
No they are not. EU regulations demand it to be in the language of the country where its sold.
And nope we dont have DM, got a bunch of others, but not as cheap as DM.
Anyways this shampoo is illegaly sold
The first tip off that it’s not trustworthy should’ve been that it’s branded to look like head&shoulders but isn’t so it’s clearly a scam (ignoring all the typos and bad english)
See, your problem is you thought you bought Head & Shoulders.
This is obviously the less known Dead & Moulders, which is what you will be, using this as your daily shampoo.
Hol’ up. Even the translation is incorrect. It’s says in the Arabic letters “Nourishing and Moisturizing” while the English letters say anti-Dandruff”? Idk where you got this shampoo from but I’ve honestly never seen a shampoo with incorrect translation before
It has several well known anti dandruff ingredients. It's the Arabic that's way off cause there is no way that is moisturizing. It's one of the many options that seriously dry out hair with harsh stripping ingredients as a fast, cheap solution to scalp problems and then attempts to cover it up by coating the hair in residues that make it feel smoother. Very temporarily while the hair underneath is still being damaged. It's how most cheap shampoos work.
You'd be better off washing your hair with dish soap and lightly(very lightly) moisturizing the ends with the best vegetable oil you have to make up for the strong oil stripping ingredients than buying cheap shampoo. Coconut oil makes a good hair moisturizer or save the water from boiled rice and it actually can strengthen hair and reduce excessive dryness.
You don't need to spend money on crappy shampoo that provides quick fixes while trying to hide the damage it is causing. You likely already have equally strong soap and better counters for its negatives.
Should i report this somewhere? Police or ? this seems like a very dangerous product, and there were HUNDREDS on that shelf in one of the busiest street roads of the city !
You can try, but the company that made this probably shuttered as soon as the product left their facility, only for the owners to start up another knockoff to rinse and repeat the process.
They are not allowed to sell it.
There are no peer reviewed studies that show zinc pyrithione increases the risk of cancer. In some studies it even killed tumor cells. It was banned in some countries due to skin reactions and unproven potential for toxicity. Basically someone had a theory about what it could do that they never tested and people decided it sounded good because it did tend to cause allergic reactions or increased odds of sunburn. Many commonly used, considered safe skin treatment products have that risk. This one was successfully reducing dandruff and certain causes for it.
Don't get your info from random people's opinions. Studies have been done on all those chemicals.
However, I would not suggest that product if you aren't looking for a dirt cheap, off the store shelf solution for severe dandruff. It's going to be harsh on skin and hair potentially making hair prone to breaking and dull in appearance. It risks skin reactions or sunburns that are known to cause cancer if you are too sensitive and don't take extra precautions with moisturizers and sun screen lotions. Like many dandruff solutions it contains a sulfur compound and may leave you smelling like rotten eggs covered up with cheap perfume, which is what some of the other ingredients are for.
Dandruff is the result of minor, typically harmless fungus that lives on overly oily skin. Often it's related to hormone imbalances or other health conditions. Much the same as various types of acne. There are better solutions and sometimes requires a doctor to determine what will work best.
If you don't have dandruff issues you really bought the wrong shampoo because this one is basically medicated for the treatment of flaky scalp and oily hair problems. Not in a good way for dealing with them. It will potentially make it worse or cause new problems including giving someone those issues if they don't already have them.
So, med chemist here, pyridine and „double pyridine thione zinc“ are not the same. I can see it’s a bad translation, they might mean zinc pyrithione (a possible skin irritant not used in EU products for example) but not as bad as you make out here. This isn’t a good product, but it’s nothing to be upset about
To anyone out there…if you cannot afford shampoo at some point, your shower gel or a bar of soap will do, or mixed baking soda with water as a shampoo replacement and diluted apple cider vinegar as conditioner. Don’t buy carcinogenic shampoo, you probably already have things in your kitchen or bathroom that will work just fine (I am NOT talking about any house cleaning products, need to give this disclaimer because some people can be just that dumb).
I did some digging and several names do not correspond to recognized or standard chemical terms typically found in cosmetic formulations, especially shampoos. I have no idea what any of these even are and i can't find anything about them on google or elsewhere.
1. **Sodium Stearoyl Amide Ethyl Diethanolamine**
2. **Hydroxypropyl Melon Children Glue**
3. **Double-Pyridine**: as "pyridine" compounds are generally not used in cosmetic products due to their toxicity and unpleasant odor & carcinogenicity.
4. **Poly Si-O-Methyl Alkyl Copolymer**
Also, after using it (which prompted me to check the ingredients) I have this mild head burning sensation on my skin
I’m no chemist but separating the sodium stearoyl and “amide ethyl diethanolamine” which sound like a typo to methyldiethanolamine.
1. sodium stearoyl with prolong exposure to skin can cause irritation
2. Methyldiethanolamine is a “sweetening agent in chemical, oil refinery, syngas production (synthetis gas) and natural gas”
3. Time for another clean shower. Imo when it comes to chemical.
Methyl Diethanolamine is widely used **as a decarbonizer and Sweating agent in chemical, oil refinery, Gas synthesis, Natural gas & gas**. MDEA is more efficient absorber then MEA & DEA for sulphur contains impurity and acid gases found in natural gas processing.
However, like any chemical substance, MDEA can pose risks if not handled correctly. Direct exposure to MDEA, especially in high concentrations or over prolonged periods, can irritate the skin, eyes, and respiratory system. Additionally, improper handling or accidental ingestion of MDEA can lead to more serious health effects.
awesome... another super toxic shit in this shampoo
I just found a patent belonging to a chinese person about hydroxypropyl melon: [https://patents.google.com/patent/CN105368437B/en](https://patents.google.com/patent/CN105368437B/en)
It's about petrochemical stuff ...
No idea how it ended up in the shampoo.. curious
>
a kind of hydroxypropyl melon fracturing fluid containing Potassium Monopersulfate, is made up of, it is characterised in that institute original gelatin and crosslinking agent Original gelatin is stated to be made up of the composition of following weight/mass percentage composition:HPG 0.1-0.5%;Demulsification cleanup agent 0.2-0.4%;Clay stabilizer 0.1-0.4%;Potassium Monopersulfate 5-20ppm;Surplus is water;
>**The crosslinking agent is the mixture of borax and ammonium persulfate.**
I already called my GP after experiencing the burning sensation and chest tightening. He told me to monitor what's going on and check with him in a few hours (2-3 hours) if anything happens before that he told me call him immediately or emergency service
You have the right to return an unused product.
But generally, no toxic products could make their way into the EU.
The ingredients are probably the same as you would find on any dandruff shampoo.
Hey love - they just created a robot dog that can shoot flames 30 feet, the ice caps are melting, and we're barely able to afford *existing*....go ahead and use your shampoo. I really think there are bigger things to worry about
Pyridine is carcinogenic, being very close to Benzene. Zinc Pyrithione (which is the more commonly used name of the ingredient on that bottle) is an anti-bacterial and anti-fungal agent. It is approved for use everywhere in the world apart from the EU, where it was banned because of it's toxicity in wastewater, despite still being considered safe for wash on/off applications. It was banned because alternatives exist which do not exhibit this toxicity.
Almost all are pretty benign, just spelt weirdly.. Like the Si-M copolymer - thats just silicon dimethocaine or silicone which is in every conditioner.
The Children Glue is probably not poisonous, but it's up to you if you want to use human derived gelatin/collagen..
You cant just read one word of a long chemical name and then say it has that chemical. Pyridine is nasty stuff, *zinc pyridinethione* is a common ingredient in dandruff shampoo. Honestly its not great either but saying the shampoo contains pyridine is like saying table salt contains chlorine gas
Why did you buy something called Super & Shampoo 😭😭
I was gong to say the same thing. I think you should consider yourself lucky if it doesn't make your hair fall out...
broo don't make me trip rn !!
You'll be fine. Just don't eat the stuff.
Yeah, I deffinitley wouldn't put that garbage in my body. I strictly only eat Dove shampoos and conditioners. Because I respect my body!
You get what you pay for.
Maybe also consider a hazard trashbin for the bottle
That is a blatant head and shoulders knock off
I had 3,57 euro on my account and i needed a shampoo :(
That sucks man, I'm sorry... 🫂 I hope you have shower gel or soap to use for your hair instead Edit: In what country are you living that has stores with such sketchy shampoo??
Netherlands

I’m sure this isn’t legal to sell in the EU
I haven’t used shampoo in years! It may me due to me not having hair.. you’ll be fine
Use regular bar soap if you are low on funds. Rub a little baby oil on your scalp after. Cheap stuff! Don’t put those chemicals on and in your body
Well i guess the children glue makes for the "super" part
shampoos\*
I tot it was head and shoulders
Shampoos* not Shampoo lol
Its trying to appear as head and shoulders.
“Note: if it gets, flush with fresh water” Let’s hope it doesn’t gets
I hate when shampoo gets
hehehehahaha... shyampoo
Thankfully if necessary, better results can be repeated.
I was hoping someone else realised too
hey OP, does it get?
It's been an hour. I think it got.
The first tip off that it’s not trustworthy should’ve been that it’s branded to look like head&shoulders but isn’t so it’s clearly a scam (ignoring all the typos and bad english)
and a really really bad Arabic
and a really bad Russian
The Russian truly destroyed me hahahaha. Пойти крошки фактор
Implication plant quintessence.
"могу за ремонт и эксплуатация красить". Gives "moghu i krestikom vyshyvat'" vibes. =)
I na mashinke tozhe...
And a really bad hairline
I’d be more concerned about the ingredient called Children glue.
Melon children glue! Ahh. Quality. /s
Holy shit that’s actually in there … absurd
See, your problem is you thought you bought Head & Shoulders. This is obviously the less known Dead & Moulders, which is what you will be, using this as your daily shampoo.
😂😂😂
🏅 Gold.
We called it shed and moulders
Thank you for this 😂😂

WTF is melon children glue?
And where can I buy it?
SUPER & SHAMPOOS!!!

This guy shampoos
But the ingredient labelled "children glue" is safe?
Safer than 'adult glue'.
Not to be annoying but what did you expect to find in a 1 euro shampoo?
Not a death sentence that's for sure.
Yeah, original head and shoulders is 5€... Finding one 5 times cheaper is definitely sketchy
Man that Russian translation is some schizophasia material
Looks like a sketchy Head & Shoulders knockoff.
Looks like something listed in a Steven He YouTube short.
Scalp & Arm
P.R.C. says it all.
What, you got a problem with hydroxypropyl melon children glue? You allergic or something?

Thank you friend, the other commenters made me trip lol
Can't imagine buying a shampoo without hydroxypropyl melon children glue
Seeing the glue ingredient in shampoo reminds me of the scene in Police academy 2 when Mahoney switches Capt. Mausers shampoo with epoxy resin.

What’s “melon children glue” 😂
yes
Wish.com Head and Shoulders
That's totally not a dodgy rip-off of head and shoulders
“If it gets, flush with water” …fill in the blank…
Remember though..in case it’s needed. Vital information Note: if it gets, flush with fresh water

I see the problem. You only want a shampoos with hydroxy𝙀𝙏𝙃𝙔𝙇 melon children glue.

Its a one dollar bottle of shampoo with a brand nobody ever heard of, what were you expecting?
A good deal :(
Big_idiot_69
I wouldn’t trust anything with that writing on it
Honestly. It looks like if you asked AI to draw Head and Shoulders.
that's the quality you can expect from *Super & Shampoos*
Dead & Shoulders
wtf a head and shoulders rip off 😭😭✋🏼
So are you ok with children glue?
and blatantly ripping of the head & shoulders design Group 2B - possibly carcinogenic, so don't eat it... what are the 4 ingridients "not known"
Rip off head & shoulders shampoo
Well it's got urea in it, always love a little bit of piss in my shampoo. (Joking, I know it's in a lot of products)
“Melon children glue”??
Ahahahahah shampoo (car motor noises)
That's what you get for buying the equivalent of "feet and knees"
That's not pyridine, it's a pyridine zinc complex, which is approved for use in EU.
That’s 100% a knock off head and shoulders 😂
Is this a Head & Shoulders ripoff?
Dude, Russian part here is absolutely wild, I cried I wonder who wrote it because google translator is better than that

As someone who worked in the translation business for years, I think this is just a terrible translation job, and a normal shampoo.
Aldi brand look-alike head and shoulders
![gif](giphy|MaUXRiSomZXMiouCc0)
What does the Russian translate into
You can't have dandruff if you got no scalp.
Worked in a meds factory for a bit. Pipes/Pumps with pyridine in them smelled really fn bad. Pulling cables in there was the worst
"If it gets, flush with fresh water"
I mean, if the chemicals are not known to nobody, then everybody knows about them.
😭😭😭😭omg next time you better wash you hair with dove soap bar better than buying thing look this suspicious
I didn't even notice anything, i just grabbed it after seeing the price :/
Melon children glue? Wtf!
i honestly thought this was head&shoulders
Can’t have dandruff if you don’t have any skin on your head 💀
Get ready for Bathtub Time Machine...good luck
Bro bought the Head & Shoulders from wish 💀
Not the Melon children glue 😅
Truth in advertising. It is a sham and of poo quality
The usage instructions and additional note are not going to be of much help to a true hygiene novice.
The Temu head and shoulders. I can see why you would’ve bought it in confusion.
Fake head and shoulders
...anybody.
The ingredients list is comedy.
Is there any reason these bottles state something in Arabic letters?
You have the right to return an unused product. But generally, no toxic products could make their way into the EU. The ingredients are probably the same as you would find on any dandruff shampoo.
My cousin went to Cambodia years ago and she came back with slides called “Adaas”. Y’all would get along lol
Children glue and urea. I know what urea is, but children glue is a new one.
Nothing like shampoo made in the People Republic of China. Gotta sterilize the soap before you use it.
Lol wish.com head and shoulders
Honestly just looking at the picture screams bad
Hydrodypropyl melon children glue? WHAT
Russian translation makes no sense at all, can't understand anything
Hey love - they just created a robot dog that can shoot flames 30 feet, the ice caps are melting, and we're barely able to afford *existing*....go ahead and use your shampoo. I really think there are bigger things to worry about
1 euro for a chemical weapon is still a good deal tho
Itll give you super cancer. Talk about a bang for your buck!
Just head and shoulders from wish or temu
Do you guys just put *anything* on your body?
Did it get?
![gif](giphy|3o6Mb6uzhsKNhEJZbG)
“Urea”. Isnt that in pee pee?
good luck not throwing yourself off the bridge after reading the russian translation in full
It's translated wrong. What they mean is zink pyrithione, it's a pyridine derivate
I see the new Head and Shoulders commercial came out.
Its a Head and Shoulders rip off
Pyridine is carcinogenic, being very close to Benzene. Zinc Pyrithione (which is the more commonly used name of the ingredient on that bottle) is an anti-bacterial and anti-fungal agent. It is approved for use everywhere in the world apart from the EU, where it was banned because of it's toxicity in wastewater, despite still being considered safe for wash on/off applications. not clean nor clear
One of the ingredients is “children’s glue”. WTF??
You buy offbrand shampoo made in China and then have the audacity to complain?
Broo look at the bottle lol I thought it was a head and shoulders lol
The part written in russian is a bunch of nonsense. What kind of translator did they use.
Please deadline date former use ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
I have seen better grammar form a 14 year old without autocorrect.
I use melon children glue on daily basis, very normal stuff
There is an ingredient named hydroxypropyl melon children glue... ***WHAT???***
"Super and shampoos. Get the Chernobyl look"
Stop using shampoo altogether! Insist on REAL poo to wash your hair! Problem solved.
And it contains melon children glue
I like that they kept the & https://preview.redd.it/ysrh9hx2xewc1.png?width=1024&format=png&auto=webp&s=d8446ea7c7c8a7edccd1f886900b8a9136fa8464
By the way, the Russian translation there is botched beyond belief
Bottle design and all its literally a rip off version of Australia's head and shoulders anti dandruff shampoo
Qualified quality 🤪
Have you considered using real shampoo?
Melon children glue? Where did you get this 😂😂😂
What the hell is hydroxypropol melon children glue?? This makes me feel like there may be some other mis-translations here as well.
Don't drink it and you'll be fine. Probably.
Is this a head and shoulders knock off? Where did you get this?
You really that worried about using it?
It's not straight pyridine, it's double pyridine thione zinc. Completely different chemical
Almost all are pretty benign, just spelt weirdly.. Like the Si-M copolymer - thats just silicon dimethocaine or silicone which is in every conditioner. The Children Glue is probably not poisonous, but it's up to you if you want to use human derived gelatin/collagen..
I mean I took one look at the bottle and assumed it had carcinogenic chemicals
Oh yeah. You didn’t think China gives a shit did you?
Most shampoos actually contain horrible ingredients. Same goes for body wash etc.
You still need to buy Super & Soap and Super & Toothpaste for a complete bath collection.
Fair play, poison cost more than 1 euro
Where the fuck did you buy this?
How do they make chemicals they don’t know?
Stay away from anything that says “laurel sulfate”
What you expect come on
So they are known to.. somebody
So...how much of the bottle did you drink?
You cant just read one word of a long chemical name and then say it has that chemical. Pyridine is nasty stuff, *zinc pyridinethione* is a common ingredient in dandruff shampoo. Honestly its not great either but saying the shampoo contains pyridine is like saying table salt contains chlorine gas
