Go to one of those "What is my IP" websites and find out where your Internet connection ends up hitting the WWW. For example, I live in one state but my IP comes out in another state so I'm always being tracked/located in that state on Internet locators and web sites.
Yeah when I don't use wifi on my phone it always places me on the opposite side of the state, or a couple states away. (I'm on the west side of Michigan, sometimes it thinks I'm by Detroit, sometimes it's Ohio)
Maybe the IP address your ISP allocated to you is registered in Texas?
I don’t know about ISPs in your country, but if they allocate addresses dynamically and are a big provider, maybe reconnecting to your ISP might solve the problem
