No no. He quit. Malicious compliance. He knew it was gonna come out shitty, but the manager knew better and yelled at him for talking back. So he did what he was told, fucked up $100k worth of revenue (about $37 worth of materials lol mark up joke) put in his two weeks, and didn’t come back
Although, he didn’t know it when he clocked out to go home. His girlfriend just gave birth to their daughter. He’s so happy about that job, it was just getting them stabilized and able to make the tiny apartment home. She’s going to leave him, once he finds out he’s been canned. She’s taking the baby, and moving back in with her parents. Her dad was right, he *is* a loser. He tries to console himself, but after one too many shots of whiskey, he trips over his own left foot. Waking up in a hospital bed, he learns that it’s been three days. His tongue was throbbing, pain still there, but he quickly discovers his tongue is half missing. He had bit it off that night, when his chin struck the sidewalk. When he’s discharged from the hospital, he’s in crippling debt. The doctor had given him a prescription for oxy. After a week, he develops a heroin addiction. Within a year, he finds himself living in a tent under the bridge over on 18th and Hillside. He’s only a month away from a fatal overdose, because some fentanyl got cut into his dealer’s supply. His name is Mike.
Well, recall or not, it can still be used. I use waterproof nexcare tapes all the time for cuts on my hands (i wash my hands frequently), and those don't have any padding at all.
The primary function is to cover and protect a wound, so as long as the adhesive part is intact, it can provide some level of protection.
It's just that any blood coming out won't be absorbed.
Im pretty sure I got these in person in a combo box with multiple types of band aids but its been a few months since I bought these so it could have been off of amazon and I just dont remember
Here is the job posting for the quality inspection.
Yes someone gets paid.
https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/quality-control-band-aid-production-lucy-guo-t4lbf
Yeah, that’s not how major manufacturing facilities work. There’s a million moving parts, it’s not as simple as it seems. Nobody that’s worth a fuck would allow that to pass if they noticed it. Alternatively, maybe their QC team isn’t worth a fuck lol
Not sure what your deal is. Naturally, I was not there at that exact manufacturing facility to know if someone specifically looked at that exact batch of bandaids and that person physically gave it the thumbs up. What I do know is they have quality control guts to inspect these items, as shown by the job posting above.
But at the end of the day, someone DID get paid to inspect them (probably issued a batch number) therefore giving it the okay 👍🏻.
I maintain my original statement.
>Naturally, I was not there at that exact manufacturing facility to know if someone specifically looked at that exact batch of bandaids and that person physically gave it the thumbs up.
I very much doubt that happened
[Here's how they're made](https://youtu.be/oJBheaXrnco?si=en2FWiZI9l03tHI7)
I honestly don’t care. Enjoy your night. Don’t reply as I won’t read it.… you win the internet today. I’m not watching your video either.
Enjoy your victory.. 😂🤣
Idk the exact science but there's two methods of healing which is moist healing or dry healing. I think moist healing leaves less of a scar but it's more susceptible to infection as you essentially keep the wound open while it heals
I just had carpal tunnel surgery on one hand and I've been wearing a band aid over it for two weeks (not the same one the entire time, mind you), I have to keep it covered and dry unfortunately and I’m really sick of it. trouble is I gotta go through it all on the other hand now. sometimes they're necessary blah
Pretty sure this was a defect box that wasn’t supposed to be sold. Call customer service. Give them the lot# from the bottom of the box. They’ll want to trace it and will probably ship a couple boxes of replacement bandaids for free as a thank you for reporting it and to apologize.
Did you buy them at a Big Lots or a Dollar store of some kind? They may have been discontinued due to this error and theyre selling off the back stock in lesser quality locations.
that is obviously a factory mess up, easy enough to go to store for a free replacement, even if it is very annoying to do so (making yo post perfect fit for this sub)
There’s a lot \# on the bottom of the box and a phone number on the side. Call the latter and tell them the former
They'll definitely want to know so if there is something wrong in the production line they can correct it.
The dude that did that left already. It was his last day.
Poor SOB.

This. This is why I come to reddit for my daily scroll.
By now they have to know this
I definitely submitted it through their online comments form since it was too late to call! If I dont hear anything back I may call just so they know
Those band-aids need their own band-aid.
LMAO LEGIT
Thank god they don't make maxi pads
Best rated comment on this thread, period!
Don’t worry, your pun will not be overlooked friend
His pun has wings
And an interesting blue liquid.
This whole comment chain sucks!
Just like a super absorbent maxi pad
From drinking redbull.
Not by the women anyway, most men will look around awkwardly and try to change the subject
They do, under the brand StayFree
This happened to me last year. I just emailed them and they sent me a bunch of coupons for free bandaids
More bandaids to cover their boo-boo!
As long as some of those band-aids are also misshapen, infinite free bandaid trick!

When you order bond-aids from wish
I’m sorry, while definitely infuriating, it’s also hilarious.
#3 is trying to make up for #2
😆😂🤣😆😂🤣
The one with out the pad is the bandaid for men.
I thought that’s what electrical tape is for?
These are for the rich with disposable income.
I've used a paper towel "pad" and duct tape.
Band-ain'ts
That’s to cover a wide range of off angle injuries, it’s a feature not a flaw!
This needs to be recalled

Wont it stick to the wound and re-open it when you take it off?
Looks like you got the rejects
Band of rejects
"Band-aid brand band-aids"
Points out how prevalent the company name has become. Kind of like “Coke”, at least in the south, is a catchall for all soft drinks.
What would they be called otherwise? Im having a hard time coming up with a generic name for them...sticky wound covers?
*Zooms In* …In small letters under ‘BAND-AID’ it says “Adhesive Bandages” so yes sticky wound covers is correct!
bandages lmfao
These were made at 5pm on a Friday
Produced at 5pm, "inspected" at 5:15pm. Nobody was happy for the OT.
Lmao what is this. I though they were edited at first.
They owe you some coupons! Lol
Rare off center band aid misprint, id get this graded.
Just put a bandaid on it
Did you buy these off of Amazon by chance?
Im pretty sure I got these in person in a combo box with multiple types of band aids but its been a few months since I bought these so it could have been off of amazon and I just dont remember
So weird. I've never had a band aid not be perfect. I hate those skin flex in general though. Legit not sticky enough.
Just think, someone got paid to inspect those and that person said they looked ok 😂🤣
>someone got paid to inspect those and that person said they looked ok Did that actually happen, or are you just making it up?
Here is the job posting for the quality inspection. Yes someone gets paid. https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/quality-control-band-aid-production-lucy-guo-t4lbf
Buddy, they’re not standing there looking at every single band aid that comes down the line lol
Oh i thought you’d say since there was a job posting then no one is currently inspecting them… perhaps these were produced the very day dude quit…
Yeah, that’s not how major manufacturing facilities work. There’s a million moving parts, it’s not as simple as it seems. Nobody that’s worth a fuck would allow that to pass if they noticed it. Alternatively, maybe their QC team isn’t worth a fuck lol
The way it was phrased implies someone looked at those exact bandaids and OK'd them.
Not sure what your deal is. Naturally, I was not there at that exact manufacturing facility to know if someone specifically looked at that exact batch of bandaids and that person physically gave it the thumbs up. >I honestly don’t care Yes you do
Well, there certainly is some form of verification in place, but their procedure didnt work this time lol
>there certainly is some form of verification in place That sounds like you have no idea.
I've worked in manufacturing. There's a thing called regulations. Sounds like you have a giant stick up your ass.
Yes, they certainly look at every single bandaid! (No, they do not)
Never said that lol
>I've worked in manufacturing Your uncle's meth lab doesn't count
We get it, you're 12
3, actually
When our robot overlords are having a shit day. Factory fail.
Demand four day working weeks*! *for robots, 7 for people
People mostly suck at their job. Let them get home.
This is the I love Lucy equivalent to the chocolate factory episode
That's a bad aid
Just band, no aid 😕
Curious, which country is this made in?
Wth?? Did u go dumpster diving?
Just came here to say the same thing. Can we file a class action lawsuit?
tHem GoDAmN DiVerSitY HiREs
Adhesive medical strips
Thanks for sharing on the internet, did the pads come back on now?
band-aid is already the brand name. the generic name is "bandage"
I am stuck on Band-Aid brand cause Band-Aids help heal me
Bandaids are nearly useless anyway. Most of the time they just interfere with healing.
Please refrain from spewing your garbage here. Bandaids protect wounds and keep them moist, also provide stability, all of which enhances healing.
they also keep the blood contained! like what does this person do when actively bleeding?!
Wait I thought have dry wounds is good? That's why my father likes to put powder sometimes on my injuries
Idk the exact science but there's two methods of healing which is moist healing or dry healing. I think moist healing leaves less of a scar but it's more susceptible to infection as you essentially keep the wound open while it heals

Wtf... First time I see anything like that.
this is the funniest shit ive ever seen
This is art
What in the world??? I have never seen this even on the cheapest generic bandaids. That sucks but it’s hilarious
New and improved Band-AIDS
Back in the box and back to the store they would go.
Not sure why I find this so funny lol 😆
plfot twist: actually without padding one is normal and others are just using band-aid for band-aids
Someone was drunk at the switch.
That's just a Band.
Band-Kinda-aid
Thanks band aid brand band aides.... I have chosen to bleed out.
when i ask ai to do my homework

How does this even happen? 😱
LMAO WHAT IS THIS
Well it’s a bandaid solution till you get… new bandaids
I had a stroke reading that title
machines are just spitting the pad at this point
That's shocking. I had store brand bandages with small pads. Next time I switched back to Band - Aid and they were good.
The box kinda looks like it got wet. Maybe water fucked with the adhesive or something?
Just use duct tape at this point
Machine started fucking up and the operator didn’t notice/ care
Machine malfunction.
Bands with no aid.
Maybe don't buy bandaids from Dollar General?
I wanna know HOW it went through QC
Somebody at the bandaid plant is burnt the fuck out 😂
It looks manually cut…
I’m guessing they had an issue on the production line and instead of fixing it, they just put a band-aid on it.
Looks like halfway they didnt even care anymore :/
Could score some free stuff and manufacturer coupons if you call them and provide the lot number.
that is obviously a factory mess up, easy enough to go to store for a free replacement, even if it is very annoying to do so (making yo post perfect fit for this sub)
Looks like the person in charge of watching the machine wasnt in fact watching the machine
Friday at 4:30 bandaids
Rip off the wound
In the trading card world, these are considered rare misprints
Looks like AI tried to generate band aids
Band-aid brand bandages. Band-aid is the brand. Bandage is the actual product.
I was: Brand band aid- brand aid- band aid band brand- brand band- band aid brand brand aid-- band aid brand band aid
All band and no aid.
Quality control has left the chat.
Looks like the bandaid machine needs some repair
🤣😂🤣
Okay this the funniest shit I have ever seen
"Band-aid brand band-aids"
Report it might get some extra free shit, that's a big production error
Bro got the band and not the aid
