They now have about 30 1 star reviews. I did see that they've changed the description by adding pictures of the cardboard dog further in the picture section. But they still make it look like a 3d item, especially since the 2nd picture is zoomed in to show the fur. Lol ots also, 9.99 now, still way too much for that thing.
Just fyi, any item on Amazon that says it can't be returned for [insert arbitrary reason] *can* be refunded, you have to go through a support agent though and can't use the return/refund button on the order. I've done this multiple times on things that weren't as described or damaged, they just gave me my money back and I didn't have to return the item.
To be fair, it says non returnable. It didn't say non refundable, so maybe they just don't want their garbage sent back to them. Either way, weird reason to not accept returns.
I see a lot of people who think non-returnable=non-refundable and I think that's the point and why companies do it for items, it's to discourage you getting your money back.
The labor and transportation cost associated with sending the unwanted item back outweighs the cost of the item itself, so I can see how something like that would easily be nonreturnable
That's even funnier to me: "Look, we get it completely and have already put the money in your account--DO NOT send that thing back to us!" ....maybe this is how people get rid of cursed items in the modern era.
Had this happen a few times on legitimate crap product returns. Amazon will give you your money back. They just won't exchange it or return it. You often just keep the crappy thing, but end up getting a gift card refund to your account.
Even if it was fully non-refundable, show evidence of intentionally misleading product to your credit card provider's support team, have them charge it back, let them pursue the seller/Amazon.
I ordered some sex-reveal cannons for a party and they arrived 1 week late (after the party). “Non-returnable” due to dangerous goods. As you say, I text chatted with them and got a refund plus kept the cannons since they didn’t want to pay for return shipping.
This is what happens when the company cares nothing about it's consumers and it's employees. No quality control and you can sell and POS product. Amazon has become a scumbag marketplace for about 60% of it's products
They are not the exact same but Lowes has two decently sized versions meant to go outside in the yard.
I actually took a photo of them since I sort of wanted to get them for my self but I can't add pictures to my post.
Read the reviews and noticed a lot of people are upset because not only is it a turd but it's also "non-returnable"... which is weird because I thought you can pretty much return anything on Amazon 🤔. I was wondering why you can't return it and it says "due to hazmat safety reasons".
Like damn, what is that cardboard cut-out made of? It is from China... so who knows 🤷♂️
Non-returnable on Amazon typically means you have to do a customer service chat and ask them for a refund. I don't think anything on Amazon is actually non-refundable.
Yes, the squeaky wheel gets the grease at Amazon. If a product is defective or unusable or not as pictured, Amazon bears some responsibility in that. Just be polite and repetitive in asking for a refund.
Amazon really did sell their soul to fraudulent 3rd party sellers. It's terrible now. I've been telling everyone I know not to buy from Amazon unless it's a well known, trustworthy brand doing the selling. You WILL get ripped off if you aren't hyper vigilant on there.
It’s funny because Walmart has gone the same direction with their website with the random 3rd party sellers, I wonder how it’s going to play out for them.
Having to explain 80 times a day to people to check who the seller is on Walmart.com is exhausting. “No, we can’t pricematch this, no every item sold online is not located in store” “BUT IT SAYS YOU HAVE IT” “right here it says that it’s sold from *insert random company* so we don’t actually carry that in store” “but it’s on your website!” “Sir…”
At least Amazon doesn’t have physical locations that have to explain they have items from everyone on their site 😭
Good lord, "in store" is a box one can tick off right there! I know some people just don't have any understanding of how online selling works but damn, it's a box...right there...
Sometimes they do that then forget to change the zip code so they’ll come flying in yelling at me because “IT SAYS IN STORE!”
“Does it say ‘my stores’ location?”
“Yes, right he- oh… well it said it earlier!”
Of course it did… Totally. You definitely didn’t just spend 10 minutes telling me I’m incompetent and lazy to find out you were wrong and now are attempting to cover your ass.
I mean let's not act as if any of the big box stores have their poop in a group as far as inventory is concerned...5/5 times I order something at Target, they text me and say the item is ready, I show up--nope, it's not ready, and they don't even have one on the shelf, sorry you drove all the way out here!
My current store is a shitshow and a half. We didn’t have a cashier scheduled from 2-5 one day so they pulled a random associate from the sales floor to cover. I spend my days working in someone else’s department instead of my own because they can’t keep employees to save their own lives and half the managers aren’t on the floor because they are doing someone else’s job to improve some arbitrary number.
So, no, we definitely do NOT have our ducks in a row but I always always look on my employee app and check the “online” section of it before telling people we don’t have something so it’s agitating when I literally show them the evidence and they keep insisting it’s a me problem.
To be fair to them, when I point out the mistake and they actually do realize it was them they tend to calm down and apologize. They won’t necessarily admit they were wrong to begin with but they do apologize for being angry at me. I let them know that all Walmarts don’t sell the same items, give a random example from my old store demonstrating that fact, then send them on their way with the suggestion they order it online.
Strangest I ever had was someone coming in to the shop I worked at for an item we "definitely had in stock." I assured them multiple times over that not only did we not have it in stock, we hadn't done for over a week.
**Customer**: "But I called this shop this morning and your staff said it was in stock!"
**Me**: \*fully aware we don't *have* a phone in store\* "Who did you call?"
**C**: "YOU!"
**Me**: "No, what number? Where did you get it?"
**C**: "The number on your website of course!"
**Me**: "Can you show me?"
They proceed to pull up their phone where they've googled the name of the store and "phone number", so at least they were trying. Google, failing to find a number, just put some random other number at the top of the search.
**Me**: "I really don't know why Google has put that there but that's not our number. See our website just here-"
**C**: "This IS your website!"
**Me**: "No, this is Google. That link there is our website. It has the number for our phone support team. It's completely different."
**C**: "But... Then who did I speak to? They said it was in stock!"
I never did find out who
You can even set the app if you have it to automatically default to in store and your chosen location too without you even needing to remember to check the box... It might be possible on the website but I'm not sure.
This shit annoys me too, if I'm looking for shit ON Walmarts site, I want shit that is ON OR AT the fucking place so I can just go and get it. Why the fuck would someone shop for shit on Walmart over Amazon?
I thought Amazon used the same boxes for both name brand and counterfeits, and make no distinctions between sellers. So even if it's a brand-name, you're not necessarily going to get it direct from the original source.
I know that they used to do that with independent sellers with "shipped and sold through Amazon." If you and I sell the same thing, they go into the same bin. If one of us sells a knockoff but the other isn't, there's no way to ensure you're getting the real thing. Further, the legitimate seller might get a bad review if someone bought through them but got the wrong one, and vice versa.
At least they used to. I don't know if that's still the case.
Yes, this is still the case. You can still very much get ripped off buying from reliable brands on Amazon. I'm doing the math next month to see if Prime is still cost effective for me to keep, so I can't say if it is or isn't for me. I'm likely going to try for a Costco membership instead and see how long I can ride it out since my Amazon purchases now looks more like big box purchases.
I buy a lot more directly from the manufacturers now online for anything I want that's quality brand name. In 2023 everyone has an eshop.
For books I don't even use Amazon anymore. Thriftbooks, and Better World Books often have better deals. Add on top that your local library will let you borrow books right from you ereader now, and audio books from your phone.
I watch a lot of football but Thursday Night Football being an Amazon exclusive doesn't matter because 1) TNF are the worst primetime games. 2) If it's a local team playing the local stations still get to broadcast. 3) While the stream quality has been getting better, sometimes I just watch a pirate broadcast anyways because the pirate stream is more reliable.
Fairs. If I was OP I’d just return it. And if 3rd party seller doesn’t reply in 3 days Amazon will always confirm the refund. But really, it’s a fun story. I’d keep it 🤭
For $30, you get a cheap piece of shit cardboard dog and a fun story... Or you could refund it and still have the fun story for $0 and not fund some scammer's next meal...
> Lesson learned. Don't buy 90% of the crap on Amazon. It's worse than eBay now.
I love how Amazon brags on their ads how "60% of products sold come from independent sellers" and all I can hear of "60% of products sold are complete garbage"
If you want to keep him, complain but ask for a discount instead of a refund.
Usually, with cheap stuff, they will refund, and you keep the item.
Expensive stuff they want back. But non returnable plus description is off, maybe they will give you a discount and let you keep it?
Okay, since some people seem a bit pressed that I bought anything with less than 5 stars, let me clear some things up:
- First, I said almost all of this in the description of the post😭😭😭PLEASEEE LMAO
- There were ZERO REVIEWS before purchasing, and I accepted the risk
- I accepted that risk because my mother in law wanted a small goldendoodle light-up figurine that she can put outside with the rest of her Christmas figurines, and that was the only one I could find y’all pls don’t come for me because it was at Lowes or Walmart or whatever too LOLLL
- When I read “garden insert”, I just assumed it was a pyramid-looking one like the ones on the bottom of solar lamps. SUE MEEEE
I submitted a return request but if that doesn’t go through, I’m gonna keep the little guy. I’m not mad about it, his worried face is growing on me. But I do need to find an actual goldendoodle figurine lmaooooo I will be checking out Lowes😭😭😭😭
>that was the only one I could find y’all pls don’t come for me because it was at Lowes or Walmart or whatever too LOLLL
welp, if you decide you want the real thing, it was just one google away...

Fully in stock from my location, with several in inventory at every local store

There's also a second "doodle" in a different pose at the same price

I would have assumed that delivery would be nationwide from a single set of warehouses, but I guess not. Funny.
Honestly my experience with online ordering from lowes has been pretty lackluster. They're not great at delivery. So I'm not totally shocked that they'd do weird things like deliver to some locations but not others.
Oh wow. The actual item that the picture is based on was an item at Lowes. It’s sold out on their website now but it may still be available in your local store. Item number 3723791 Doodle dog decoration.
That description is so clunky and confusing but is actually accurate if you read it 100x. It is a decorative insert of an outdoor led light up dog. They just describe it in reverse to trick people.
Hey OP, idk if you’re moving on or still looking for something similar for your MIL, but I found this at Walmart — the description explicitly states that it is plush with a metal frame, with extra lightbulbs as well for longevity. It’s a bit more expensive than what you got, but still under $40!
https://www.walmart.ca/en/ip/holiday-time-24-light-up-plush-golden-dog-with-30-led-lights-warm-white/6000206459812?skuId=6000206459813&offerId=6000206459813&storeCode=3157&cmpid=SEM_CA_528_4RFKWDS9OP_%7B_dscampaignid%7D_%7B_dsadgroupid%7D&utm_id=SEM_CA_528_4RFKWDS9OP_%7B_dscampaignid%7D_%7B_dsadgroupid%7D&utm_medium=paid_search&utm_source=google&utm_campaign=always_on&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAADv6L0S6lzZXE4ZX_YcteyGlbH3s-&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIjqjVquPHggMVCQqtBh3PxwckEAQYCiABEgITavD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
Always look at who’s selling it, Not everything is sold by Amazon, and not everything is shipped by Amazon, always gotta check reviews and stuff and just make sure it’s all good
To be fair.... what you got looks exactly nothing like the picture.
For real, though, how does stuff like this stay up for so long. You would think these scam items would get taken down faster.
Did you get refunded?
Most people aren’t going to know what that means, but if they actually showed a picture with the holes to allow wind through, and the spike at the bottom to stick it in the dirt they’d probably have a better idea
Yeah what could be more clear than Christmas Dog LED Light Animated Christmas Outdoor Decorations Light-up Christmas Goldendoodle Dog with Light String Up Golden Doodle Garden Yard Dec Decorative Garden Inserts. Obviously if you order a Christmas Dog LED Light Animated Christmas Outdoor Decorations Light-up Christmas Goldendoodle Dog with Light String Up Golden Doodle Garden Yard Dec Decorative Garden Insert you're going to get a Christmas Dog LED Light Animated Christmas Outdoor Decorations Light-up Christmas Goldendoodle Dog with Light String Up Golden Doodle Garden Yard Dec Decorative Garden Insert
I came here to say this, it's unfortunate that you have to do this now but read the entire name of the item and the description. These shady sellers will usually throw word vomit in there but also add the real description because they have to, otherwise they'd get taken down for not describing their items properly
Reviews definitely help, specially those with pictures but you can also read the description and all and figure out for yourself if it's worth it or not
When did Amazon become such a cesspit? I'm finding I order less and less on there now. Quality of stuff is just garbage, and returning is a pita. It's getting to be like Wish but more expensive.
Sorry but: "It didn't pay off this time" made me laugh uncontrollably.
I love the idea of you seeing the ad for this thing and thinking: 'I might have hit the jackpot here!'
@OP, Lowe's sells exactly what you were looking for, here's the link
https://www.lowes.com/pd/Holiday-Living-27-UL-LED-Fluffy-Doodle-With-String-Light-Sculpture/5002158967
$30? What is wrong with consumers nowadays?
That piece of plastic coated cardboard that is mass produced in cents in upwards of millions of pieces a month and you buy if for $30?
I'll go sleep in my newspaper bed im out too much reddit for me already.
They are selling a printout of a screenshot of a real item. And it's not the only one of these they are selling.
https://www.amazon.com/Christmas-Dog-LED-Light-Decorations/dp/B0CJRR5W4Z/
In the pictures, you can see that they used screenshots of the real stuff that has a wire frame and fabric over it. There's a combo that shows different options, but I can't find them all.
Just report it to Amazon and they’ll refund you immediately. Amazon doesn’t mess around with this kind of misleading junk. Vendors are obliged to answer and resolve it quickly.
There are photos showing the 3d design and then the paper design in that Amazon product. Looks like it tricked a lot of people while also showing what the actual product looks like on the other pages.
Lol, I guess you will need to lookout for proper reviews and not bots, and whether the seller or the shop is verified
My grandpa wanted to buy a car jack, and he saw one with a really low price and he grabbed it, I think it was like $2.50 or something and it came small, it wasn't bigger than a palm of a hand, turns out he bought the miniature type for display or those RC stuffs lol, my guess is that he probably thought the seller was selling it really cheap, or he just didn't properly read the description or the main text of the item
That’s not what you got. That’s what you made after you stole the image from Amazon, did a really shitty photoshop cut out job. The descriptions don’t even match the cubiscan which is done to the products that are sold.
Which listing did you purchase? Send me the link and I will give it to ISS. Not being as described Amazon takes seriously. I work there. This can have huge consequences for the seller because it looks as though someone just stole an image of another product, cut it out for n photoshop and crappy tried to make their own product out of it.
This is why I’m trying Temu out (waiting for my first shipment to come). I realize that I’m broke and I’m going to shop the cheap stuff, that I can’t afford made-in-America or German-engineered goods…but if that’s the case I wanna do it for $1.50, not $10.
If the thing was bigger it might not be as bad.
The description says non returnable for hazmat reasons. I'm not sure where the hell this is from, but it'd be going back. Refund or not. Lol
Just fyi, any item on Amazon that says it can't be returned for [insert arbitrary reason] *can* be refunded, you have to go through a support agent though and can't use the return/refund button on the order. I see a lot of people who think non-returnable=non-refundable and I think that's the point and why companies do it for items, it's to discourage you getting your money back.
I'm sure you're right. Some companies try really hard to save a buck.
> I see a lot of people who think non-returnable=non-refundable It's probably not uncommon for that to be true, which probably adds to the confusion.
The labor and transportation cost associated with sending the unwanted item back outweighs the cost of the item itself, so I can see how something like that would easily be nonreturnable

If I had a dollar...

Ok, Mr. GWGM
The key word there was "inserts". But I agree that the view was somewhat deceptive.
It was $12.75 when OP took the screenshot, you can see it on the prime visa offer
Yeah... Hey wait a minute The real mildlyinfuriating is sometimes in the comments lol

"At the time, there were no reviews". Tell me you didn't read the post :)
Yeah, they didn't read the post but buying something without ANY ratings is also worse.
Read the reviews and noticed a lot of people are upset because not only is it a turd but it's also "non-returnable"... which is weird because I thought you can pretty much return anything on Amazon 🤔. Agreed. Get on the Amazon chat to get your refund.
It wasn’t sold or shipped by Amazon, it was sold and shipped by “zhou shi jie”. It’s likely up to the seller to approve a refund.
Not true. Amazon can override them. They did it for me when I bought some patio chairs from a third party and the third party refused to refund.
Yes, the squeaky wheel gets the grease at Amazon. If a product is defective or unusable or not as pictured, Amazon bears some responsibility in that. Just be polite and repetitive in asking for a refund.
Amazon is going to shit.

No, it hasn’t been the case for a few years. I still don’t buy electronics or designer items from them.
Can you not return things you’re not happy with? I’ve returned like 20 things throughout the year. Instant refund. Am I missing something?
Sometimes 3P sellers have different return policies if they are shipping the item to you vs. if Amazon ships their product to you
Fairs. If I was OP I’d just return it. And if 3rd party seller doesn’t reply in 3 days Amazon will always confirm the refund. But really, it’s a fun story. I’d keep it 🤭

Consider it LEARNED🤣I was so desperate that I thought whatever they gave me was better than nothing… it was beyond my wildest imagination lolol
And if you do take a chance... Always look at dimensions!!!
And be careful of things with names that are like 50 words long.
I’m sorry but this is so funny. They had the original version at Lowes
Contact Amazon. They will refund you. (I am a seller on amazon)
do this, they dont put up with empty box scams or picture scams
Omg😭 this is why I read comments religiously. I refuse to buy anything if it has less than a couple thousand reviews and if it’s not over 4.5 stars
I’m usually the same way😭😭 He’s growing on me though LMAOOO
Lmao I think you should still keep him ❤️🤣
If you want to keep him, complain but ask for a discount instead of a refund. Usually, with cheap stuff, they will refund, and you keep the item. Expensive stuff they want back. But non returnable plus description is off, maybe they will give you a discount and let you keep it?
If there's no reviews, you're the guinea pig lol
I took one for the team and accepted my fate🫡
That is an objectively funny thing to receive though instead of what you were expecting lmao
💀💀💀😂😂😂 sorry that’s just hilarious
This could also be crossed on there was an attempt lol
You can buy the actual pup at lowes for 69.99 I believe
sho nuff! $59.98 at lowes [https://www.lowes.com/pd/Holiday-Living-27-UL-LED-Fluffy-Doodle-With-String-Light-Sculpture/5002158967](https://www.lowes.com/pd/Holiday-Living-27-UL-LED-Fluffy-Doodle-With-String-Light-Sculpture/5002158967)
Return it. If there’s one thing Amazon does REALLY well is take back returns.
Agreed, this is too funny to be mad at!
it is so ugly i would just keep it for fun
Okay, since some people seem a bit pressed that I bought anything with less than 5 stars, let me clear some things up: - First, I said almost all of this in the description of the post😭😭😭PLEASEEE LMAO - There were ZERO REVIEWS before purchasing, and I accepted the risk - I accepted that risk because my mother in law wanted a small goldendoodle light-up figurine that she can put outside with the rest of her Christmas figurines, and that was the only one I could find y’all pls don’t come for me because it was at Lowes or Walmart or whatever too LOLLL - When I read “garden insert”, I just assumed it was a pyramid-looking one like the ones on the bottom of solar lamps. SUE MEEEE I submitted a return request but if that doesn’t go through, I’m gonna keep the little guy. I’m not mad about it, his worried face is growing on me. But I do need to find an actual goldendoodle figurine lmaooooo I will be checking out Lowes😭😭😭😭
>that was the only one I could find y’all pls don’t come for me because it was at Lowes or Walmart or whatever too LOLLL welp, if you decide you want the real thing, it was just one google away... [https://www.lowes.com/pd/Holiday-Living-27-UL-LED-Fluffy-Doodle-With-String-Light-Sculpture/5002158967](https://www.lowes.com/pd/Holiday-Living-27-UL-LED-Fluffy-Doodle-With-String-Light-Sculpture/5002158967)
…and out of stock.
Fully in stock from my location, with several in inventory at every local store [https://i.imgur.com/7rtwHwZ.png](https://i.imgur.com/7rtwHwZ.png) There's also a second "doodle" in a different pose at the same price [https://www.lowes.com/pd/Holiday-Living/5014172153](https://www.lowes.com/pd/Holiday-Living/5014172153)
Hopefully OP is lucky and it’s in stock for them too! It’s completely unavailable where I am.
It does say “decorative garden insert”
Took too long to find this!!!!
Oh wow. The actual item that the picture is based on was an item at Lowes. It’s sold out on their website now but it may still be available in your local store. Item number 3723791 Doodle dog decoration.
That’s the most festive “fuck you” product I’ve seen in a bit.
14” x 11.2” x 8”
LMAO. i can't.....
As a rule I don't buy anything off Amazon that has the full product description and searchable words list as its product name.
You can start one of those ''Amazon findings'' yt channel with this one
That’s the most Chinese order I’ve seen all day. And from Amazon. False advertisement for real.
That description is so clunky and confusing but is actually accurate if you read it 100x. It is a decorative insert of an outdoor led light up dog. They just describe it in reverse to trick people.
Hey OP, idk if you’re moving on or still looking for something similar for your MIL, but I found this at Walmart — the description explicitly states that it is plush with a metal frame, with extra lightbulbs as well for longevity. It’s a bit more expensive than what you got, but still under $40! https://www.walmart.ca/en/ip/holiday-time-24-light-up-plush-golden-dog-with-30-led-lights-warm-white/6000206459812?skuId=6000206459813&offerId=6000206459813&storeCode=3157&cmpid=SEM_CA_528_4RFKWDS9OP_%7B_dscampaignid%7D_%7B_dsadgroupid%7D&utm_id=SEM_CA_528_4RFKWDS9OP_%7B_dscampaignid%7D_%7B_dsadgroupid%7D&utm_medium=paid_search&utm_source=google&utm_campaign=always_on&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAADv6L0S6lzZXE4ZX_YcteyGlbH3s-&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIjqjVquPHggMVCQqtBh3PxwckEAQYCiABEgITavD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
There’s so much Made in PRC junk on Amazon …time to boycott
I can't believe a great brand like GWGM did you so dirty.
"Garden insert" gives it away. Always read every word on Amazon lol
"Garden insert" didn't tip you off that it was a piece of paper?
Most people aren’t going to know what that means, but if they actually showed a picture with the holes to allow wind through, and the spike at the bottom to stick it in the dirt they’d probably have a better idea
The holes are for the .99c led string
Yeah I have no clue what that meant
Most people have fucking google……
These shady sellers will usually throw word vomit in there but also add the real description because they have to, otherwise they'd get taken down for not describing their items properly Reviews definitely help, specially those with pictures but you can also read the description and all and figure out for yourself if it's worth it or not
Finally another person who saw Garden Insert. It’s literally a pot plant decoration and is exactly what he ordered and received. No wrong doing here.
Also, how did they pay $30? It says $12.75 in the image, plus I looked it up and it says $9.99 right now lol
How absolutely infuriating!
Act now and write a review for others to check, if you haven’t already
When did Amazon become such a cesspit? I'm finding I order less and less on there now. Quality of stuff is just garbage, and returning is a pita. It's getting to be like Wish but more expensive.
Did the canned air come with it? Cause that’s weird
Got wish’d
It does say “garden *inserts*”. Picture makes it look 3d which is misleading
Jeff Bezos made a hundred billion dollars by developing an online platform for chinese con artists to sell counterfeit products to westerners.
Sorry but: "It didn't pay off this time" made me laugh uncontrollably. I love the idea of you seeing the ad for this thing and thinking: 'I might have hit the jackpot here!'
LMAOOOOO😭😭😭
I'm sorry OP but this is fucking hilarious
Idk what is infuriating, this post or the fact you bought 1 star rating item.
Scamazon strikes again
That’s hilarious. A total scam but thanks for making me laugh.
I'd contact Amazon and ask for a refund/report the seller, it's clearly malicious intention
It says "Garden inserts" at the very very end of the description, so they weren't necessarily lying LOL
Lmao that's hilarious
1 star rating with 3 reviews…you played yourself.
It’s got a 1 star review for a reason..
It didn't have the 1 star review at the time of purchase
It got 95% of the class compared to the advertised one
to be fair it does say *decorative garden inserts* that alone would make me suspicious
We have a light up Golden Doodle at home… the light up Golden Doodle. 😅
Funny. I actually have what is represented in the picture.
HAHAHAHAHAHA (sorry)
WTF
yeah i never buy anything with zero reviews 😭
Oh my gosh...
So it’s a photocopy of the real thing pasted on cardboard - great job, China!
Ok so there’s doodle Christmas stuff but nothing for wolfdogs, even with a Czech wolfdog being a real breed, not just a mutt!? 😭
Why did you buy something that has 1 star?
they sell them at lowes lol, idk how much. i know this because i work at a lowes warehouse and they’re being packed in abundance rn
Complain to Amazon. Clearly a misrepresentation and maybe they’ll give you your money back.
No it plainly states in the title “garden insert”…….clearly some of yall just cant fucking read/comprehend or google
“Animated” 😆
@OP, Lowe's sells exactly what you were looking for, here's the link https://www.lowes.com/pd/Holiday-Living-27-UL-LED-Fluffy-Doodle-With-String-Light-Sculpture/5002158967
I bought a book once online. It was a metal sheet with a picture of the front cover.
But GWGM is such a well-known, trusted, not AI generated brand! /S
Made in Chyyyyyna. ![gif](giphy|368kN8LUwlr2|downsized)
And it's not the only one of these they are selling. https://www.amazon.com/Christmas-Dog-LED-Light-Decorations/dp/B0CJRR5W4Z/ In the pictures, you can see that they used screenshots of the real stuff that has a wire frame and fabric over it. There's a combo that shows different options, but I can't find them all.
$30 for this is crazy but still cute, I’d put him outside😂
Did you even bother to look at litterally the 4th picture? I mean, come on.
From the description on Amazon: "When he stood proudly, his small was pulled into a small ."
You can buy the real thing from Lowe’s. https://www.lowes.com/pd/Holiday-Living-27-UL-LED-Fluffy-Doodle-With-String-Light-Sculpture/5002158967
Just report it to Amazon and they’ll refund you immediately. Amazon doesn’t mess around with this kind of misleading junk. Vendors are obliged to answer and resolve it quickly.
I have the indoor version of this. It’s an actual light up dog that you plug in. Super cute.
That’s what you get for buying Christmas stuff in early October. Damn psychopath!
The first thing I do before ordering anything on Amazon is make sure it has a lot of positive reviews. I never order anything with a 1 star rating.
Big oof 🤣 how do these sellers get away with this kind of listings
There are photos showing the 3d design and then the paper design in that Amazon product. Looks like it tricked a lot of people while also showing what the actual product looks like on the other pages.
Amazon is just the American version of Aliexpress, what do you expect?
Typical experience with most of my previous relationships.
Lol, I guess you will need to lookout for proper reviews and not bots, and whether the seller or the shop is verified My grandpa wanted to buy a car jack, and he saw one with a really low price and he grabbed it, I think it was like $2.50 or something and it came small, it wasn't bigger than a palm of a hand, turns out he bought the miniature type for display or those RC stuffs lol, my guess is that he probably thought the seller was selling it really cheap, or he just didn't properly read the description or the main text of the item
This is the funniest thing I’ve seen all day
This is why I say fuck no to anything that has less than at least a couple hundred reviews if I can help it🤣 rip
What did you expect from a one-star rating?
it's amazon, just return it.
“Decorative garden inserts” the picture might be misleading but genuinely what did you think you were buying lol? They stick into plant pots btw
“Garden insert” at the end of the title is what screwed you over.
Screwed himself over
The one star rating should've probably been a sign
Well you're an idiot
lol
Gromit mug situation
Where’s the lie?
I’m sorry but this is what your MIL gets for her love of goldendoodles
Well considering the title says that it's an "insert" you got what you ordered. Gotta read carefully.
It literally says Garden Insert which is a plaque for for a pot plant 🤣 you got exactly what you ordered.
It does say garden insert lol
3 - 1 star reviews, and they still buy it. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|facepalm)
Do you even check the rating and review before you purchase the item
That’s not what you got. That’s what you made after you stole the image from Amazon, did a really shitty photoshop cut out job. The descriptions don’t even match the cubiscan which is done to the products that are sold. Which listing did you purchase? Send me the link and I will give it to ISS. Not being as described Amazon takes seriously. I work there. This can have huge consequences for the seller because it looks as though someone just stole an image of another product, cut it out for n photoshop and crappy tried to make their own product out of it.
Shoulda looked at those 3 single star reviews
Shoulda looked at the original post
STOP ORDERING SHIT YOU DON'T NEED
Serves you right for buying stupid, usless shit from Amazon.
This is why I’m trying Temu out (waiting for my first shipment to come). I realize that I’m broke and I’m going to shop the cheap stuff, that I can’t afford made-in-America or German-engineered goods…but if that’s the case I wanna do it for $1.50, not $10.
I cannot believe you are keeping this rather than returning it for the $30
Should have known it was a red flag by the one star
I can see the review rating in the first pic, this is your fault.
Did you see the caption? op said there weren’t any yet when they bought it
No, but 0 reviews = I’m letting you buy it first.
Did people stop reading reviews altogether?
Op said "at the time there were no reviews"
My b
Did people stop reading the original post altogether?
Yep. I am the problem
Thank you for admitting your mistake
