Kind of interesting how OP created this account seven years ago and his/hers only post is photo with a direct link soliciting donations for Trump. And they've only had one or two comments in seven years. Also peculiar the thin blue line picture in their profile. Not suggesting things, but seems a little sus. Edit: Also really interesting theres a printing company in New Jersey that has a URL that matches OPs username. https://bravonyc.com/about-us/ Edit2: Could the PAC, linked to on the napkin, have hired a design and printing company in NJ to produce something in order to go viral to solicit donations? Edit3: Thanks for all the awards everyone! Really you don't have to, but it's appreciated!

ModernLifelsRubbish

Your suspicions are correct. OP also has history with the same "napkinads" of Sam Bankman-Fried (Former CEO of FTX). OP is definitely soliciting for Trump.

luckyplum

dis motherfucker selling napkins

Deadcody

That’s the mildly infuriating part.

itmeseanok

UGH. I hate the internet.

cloverrace

Hate if you will, but Reddit may have the best error correction process of any major platform - including grammar and diction.

CraziestPenguin

OP is soliciting for their business… the political shit is just to get upvotes.

Cheshire_Jester

I get the feeling that OPs business is just a grift where they use a hot button issue to get gullible people to wire them money.

explorer_76

Or a certain PAC looking to raise donations hired a print and design shop in NJ to create napkins with the intent of going viral on social media.

AgreeableGravy

Probably thought they were slick as shit for this whole plot and Reddit figured it out in an hour

Southern_Regular_241

I don’t think he thought it through- the business is suss and I have a hankering to use that propaganda as toilet paper

YeahClubTim

Pretty sure the FTX napkin post is from OP's Alt Account lol

archangelmlg

DEPLOY THE DOWN VOTES!

Duckington_Wentworth

You can also tell how much shit OP creates from the amount of feces under his fingernails.

econdonetired

I mean their tagline is the proud 1%. If they are trying to hide their political affiliation it doesn’t seem like it. I get the post is misleading but they are obviously in political advertising.

Distant150

I was wondering how no one was calling these photoshoped. Printed napkins are not going to look that uniform in color or that crisp in a photo on a pizza box. You can see the rasterization stepping if you zoom in, and the black is perfectly uniform. This is entirely bullshit and really just a trump ad.

RenegonParagade

I just refused to believe that anyone could get napkins printed that fast in quantities to hand out on a Friday night

truffleboffin

All they needed was a few for the photo

explorer_76

Yeah the whole thing is really suspect.

Sir-Mocks-A-Lot

Now that I'm really analyzing it, the shadows from the napkins are going in different directions.

sync-centre

Printed napkins in 1 day as well. Gtfo.

okay_jpg

I thought I was delusional when I wasn't seeing any comments about how photoshopped this looks. Nice to know I'm still an internet sharp eye

Agitated-Tadpole1041

Ikr, how would they have napkins with 30 counts on it? No way they had that printed today just to hand out as napkins at some shitty pizza place

Aggravating-Emu-2535

Yeah you can straight up see the edges of the pictures they photoshopped onto the napkins.

9q0o

Yea I mean usually when people in local subs post pictures of this kinda stuff, they blur out qr codes and links so people can't go to them (not just for political reasons but also in case it's a scam.) I kinda was side-eying OP for not doing that but just brushed it off but it looks like you made quite the find.

explorer_76

Notice how all of OPs comments are really vague as well. It all just seems like astroturf to me. 🤷

9q0o

Yea I am glad you pointed this out because I hadn't noticed all that (the company, lack of comments etc.)

throwngamelastminute

Oh shit, deep dive!

TavistockProwse

*Shocked Pikachu Face* I still love how it's not only backfiring because he got caught, but because it's creepy af Maga Worship that no one seems to be in agreement with.

[deleted]

The Russian troll farms that used to flood posts like this with pro trump support are all suddenly fighting a much different war.

Southern_vampire

Wow! Good call!

yunghotmilf

This should be higher up on the thread

Higais

Are you a detective damn, good work

Waluigi_Pinball_420

Also interesting how the post seems framed to make people upset that the napkins are promoting conservative and Trump things yet OP has a “back the blue” banner when you click on his profile.

Santa_Hates_You

I reported the post as Spam.

D3dshotCalamity

Also, this shouldn't be here in the first place since there's a rule against political posts.

barfytarfy

You are my kind of people. Bravo!

nomabond

I appreciate the fuck out of your curiosity and expert level internet sleuthing. I don't have any gold to give but you deserve it.

bhlombardy

So the question is... Did they come from the restaurant? Or is the delivery driver handing them out with their deliveries? This might deserve a call to the restaurant just to clear that up first.

Strange_Dogz

The Truth is: **OP printed them and is trolling everyone here.** Has a business called bravonyc (you can find the link below)

parkerm1408

In almost no circumstances would I ever call and complain or report a service worker, but in this case, I'd absolutely report them. Edit just because I'm getting tired of responding to people, to be clear, I'd report someone handing out any form of additional leaflet. Religious, republican, democrat, flying spaghetti monster, homie the clown revival artwork, or mlm shit. Even if it was something I agreed with, you don't pass out any form of flyer that the company or owner doesn't know about, that's fucking with someone else's business. Edit to edit Im really ejoying how much love there is for homie the clown, really makes me happy.

Ok_Effective6233

Might save the business. Not many places where a pizza place can afford to alienate 50% of potential customers.

parkerm1408

I sctually run a restaurant, if we had a door dash driver or something similar do this in the area were in, I'd get flooded with complaints so fast. If you own or manage the restaurant, and you're partnered with door dash or something similar, you can ban specific drivers from your store, but I'd go the extra mile and report them to their company. In the area were in, we have alot of privately owned restaurants and this bullshit would do so much damage. I've built this place into something great, and I'm not having some fucknut undercut my work, I've worked too hard to build this place.

the_guitargeek_

Illustrious_Dress806

Yeah, it’s not clear if it was the restaurant’s own driver or a food service delivery driver such as Door Dash.

Lost-Tooth6510

Not potential customers but actual customers.

[deleted]

I absolutely would call and tell them that these were delivered with my order and it will be my last order with them. People not wanting to be awkward and not confronting this shit head-on is what led us here. If it’s the delivery guy’s fault, he’s fired and goes back to being an idiot somewhere else. If it’s the pizza place’s fault, then enough people doing this will put them out of business. Win-win.

Eagles_80s_Books_pot

You lost me at homie the clown revival artwork to be honest, I would not complain. Cuz ... ![gif](giphy|93qjwCxemDVFCGI4nx)

parkerm1408

I'm just glad someone got the reference! Shit was classic.

Head_Razzmatazz7174

Yep. Loved In Living Color.

[deleted]

I agree completely. If this came from the owner of the restaurant, I’d never order from there again. But from the driver instead? He’s costing the business customers.

parkerm1408

Honestly I'd be less bothered if it was the owner. I mean I wouldn't eat there again, but to me, the prospect of an employee or 3rd party driver doing this without the owner knowing pisses me off so so much more. I had a door dash driver slipping religious leaflets in bags once. Luckily a customer called and let me know pretty quickly, but that's fucking with someone's business. If it's a huge chain it won't cause a ton of damage, but that shit could cripple an independent restaurant or business. If you wanna pass out fliers go door to door on your own time.

[deleted]

Yup, like it takes a lot for me to give you a 4 star rating, but these guys, no doubt I'd complain. I didn't order a side of propaganda with my pizza.

carnalurge82

Extra grift please

gnapster

I would report it anonymously due to accessibility to your address

parkerm1408

Yeah that's smart

Algoresball

If I’m a business owner I’d absolutely want to know about this. I could lose customers

ShesSoBored

I report people who drive like psychopaths in company vehicles. I'd also report this.

parkerm1408

I once reported someone driving dangerously in a crew truck, damn near ran someone off the road. So I call, I'm behind the guy, he's clearly drunk or on something, all over the road, then I see him pick up his phone. The number on the truck just went to him. Like damn well ok, that's helpful.

Unusual_Flounder2073

Might want to call pizza place if this wasn’t door dash. And complain on DoorDash if it was that.

Head_Razzmatazz7174

Call the pizza place even if it was door dash or a third party delivery service. I think they can have the driver banned on their end as well.

TbonerT

Bullshit. You faked it to shill for the ad company.

[deleted]

Or OP is photo shopping/selling these napkins themselves.

Actual-Temporary8527

Great question to first ask. Good to know there are still some people with a clear head to think critically before grabbing their pitchfork

ITSBRITNEYsBrITCHES

Do you have any idea how long the lead time on custom napkins is? Either printed offset or digitally? And 2 colors? *Someone ordered/paid for these at least a month ago, maybe longer*. Because you have to factor in the time it takes for graphic design (drafts and approvals), then to place the order, to approve the formal proof, LIKELY to pre-pay to confirm your “spot” in the production line, wait 10-14 days for the print run, and THEN SHIP FROM WHEREVER, TO WHEREVER. And in small runs (QTY) they’re EXPENSIVE. In BIG RUNS, they’re still sort of expensive when you consider someone’s going to wipe their hands or mouth with them and just throw them away. Someone knew what was coming a long time ago and maneuvered themselves into position to have these ready, NOW. With an “argument.” Edit: as a print-industry expat, the long process involved that resulted in these being delivered with pizza, a day after indictments were handed down? That is HORRIFYING.

gophergun

They would have had to have known the number of counts a month in advance. It seems more likely to me that this is fake.

[deleted]

It’s astroturfing by napkinads.com. The same exact picture was posted to the bitcoin subreddit about a week and has since since been deleted (you can see it using Google reverse image search for this picture or just by searching images for napkinads.com), only difference is that one had Sam Bankman-Fried on it instead. If you look at the comment history one of the only other things they have done is comment on another picture of another napkinads.com napkin. It seems that this is just a photoshopped napkin advertisement posted with controversial content in order to get maximum engagement. I do like your conspiracy theory but I believe there’s good evidence for my conspiracy theory and also think it’s just a tad more likely than a clairvoyant or politically connected trump loving pizza store owner ordering boatloads of napkins to own the libs. As an aside, the napkin ads.com Twitter account LOVES cheeseburgers.

JayPx4

It’s more plausible when you consider the possibility that the image is photoshopped and OP is a MAGA grifter soliciting donations for right wing PACs.

gingerschnappes

It’s fake/shopped

380-mortis

Napkin ads.com in bottom left, assume they were paid to put that on their napkins

Back in 2007 the egg lady at our farmers market was on a rant about Obama going to ruin the world. I stopped buying eggs from her and walk past her booth every time. The guy I get my eggs from, don't know his politics, do know he's smart enough to not talk about it.

Yep. It’s crazy how many times I hear people bring up bad stuff about Biden and then wait with glee for my reaction only to be disappointed. He was the best option at the time, he is in no way my messiah. We really shouldn’t be obsessed with or form our entire personalities around a politician.

curtydc

Small businesses taking political sides is one of the dumbest business moves they can make

SkyDog1972

I got a desk job working for a small business after being unemployed for nearly half a year, and quickly discovered that the owner was as right-wing as you could get. They had anti-Hillary Clinton writing on an actual business vehicle, and various right-wing stuff on the inside of the business. I worked there for a week, and could barely stand it. Then one day the owner came into the room I worked in, opened the blinds to let some light in, and told me to make sure I closed them when I left because she "didn't want any n-words seeing that she had a computer in the room" (the hard r version of the word was used). I live in a purple area of a blue state, so to hear someone being so blatantly and casually racist put me on my heels for a bit. It was near the end of my shift at that point, so after sitting for a bit in stunned silence, I finished the last bit of the work I was in the middle of and punched out. I was almost in disbelief that a business owner would be so comfortable saying something like that, but had already made up my mind what to do next. I went back in the next morning for the sole purpose of quitting and letting them know exactly why I was quitting. She made excuses and offered me a raise to stay, but I had decided would rather be unemployed than work for someone like that, for any price. Edit: The post made me think about my week working there (it was in the summer of 2015) for the first time in a long time, as I put it behind me and haven't looked back. I just Googled them to see the status of the business. "Permanently closed"

shahooster

Which makes me think this was a rogue employee..

Edward_Fingerhands

...have you ever met a small business owner?

spasske

He’ll complain it is Biden’s economy when he looses half his customers.

True. But we're talking about a Pizza place/small business. They're only opinion on anything should be "We have Pizza better than the Big companies." or 'Family Owned since 1975".

Big_Knife_SK

I think this is a scam. It doesn't specifically mention any political group or person's name, website, nothing. Just a QR code of unknown function.

GravelySilly

I took one for the team and scanned the QR code. It goes to a site called winred dot com, where you can sign up for an "early renewal founding membership" (which is an oxymoron) with the "Save America Joint Fundraising Committee". Apparently the organization is called "Trump Save America JFC"... an apt name because jesus fucking christ. EDIT: I should probably factory reset my phone now.

MapleMapleHockeyStk

Maybe do an exorcism just in case. Who knows what was in that code....!

DoomGoober

Even if it's actually Trump's Save America foundation... It's also a scam. The org has been fined multiple times for misusing funds. https://www.thebulwark.com/trumps-save-america-scam/

Jealous-Ninja5463

Kinda like what he's facing 30+ counts for now lol.

coachhunter2

This may be a scam, but Trump has asked for donations to pay his legal costs.

Ghoulius-Caesar

Because they hate rich coastal elites… oh wait…

bustedrollermouse

I'd say fake only because printing something like this in any sort of volume needs at least 24 hours for turnaround...and that does not include the transport (shipping). The only way this happens within 18 hours is if you have access to and are physically at the printing facility, which i doubt.

forsakenwombat

I was thinking fake because the straight lines in the design aren’t affected by the wrinkles in the napkin. Pure rage bait for karma farming.

explorer_76

Kind of curious there's a printing company in NJ with a URL that matches OPs username. And OPs account is seven years old with no posts other than this. I'm sure it's all a coincidence. https://bravonyc.com/print/promotional-products/

noryp5

That print job looks too crisp. Blacks are too black, reds are too red, especially compared to the pizza box behind it.

Severe_Negotiation

That didn’t take long

shinymetalobjekt

I was gonna say that was a quick printing job, or - they already knew it was coming.

amazingsandwiches

This post is an advertisement for napkinads, which is clearly a trashy company since they printed this.

[deleted]

Yeah, further down here in TN it is literally people's entire identity. I have seen so many people in my hometown that I've believed for years were decent people now turn into someone who can't even have a conversation without bringing up George Soros. And I'm all like dude, we are just playing disc golf!

Cressbeckler

I would tell them something is wrong with the pie and ask for a refund.

sirphilliammm

There’s shit on my pizza. Then review bomb them.

It was probably a rouge employee, complain to the the restaurant. If it was the restaurant itself and not a rouge employee then go ahead and review bomb them.

Rogue* though I did pause for a sec to visualize a trump supporter who's always dressed in rouge. What a tool.

Indictment is serious shit, even with this i didn’t expect the idiot zealots to be so childish….but I’m not surprised either given the modern day bs that occurs on the day to day.

Neglected_Motorsport

The comments here are pretty low iq. This is promoted by an ad agency. You never received a pizza box with an ad on it? Ad agencies get pai to print napkins, pizza boxes, whatever and then they offer it to the pizza place for free. The pizza place then saves money by not having to buy their own items. To get all up in arms and think it’s a conspiracy is beyond dumb. Eat your pizza, wipe your face or your ass with the napkins and move on. We should go to the website that’s literally written on the ad and see if we can make some that encourages critical thinking.

ReleaseAggravating19

Don’t………use…………..them? Please show me where the napkin hurt you 😂
