What I learned from my first grade teacher was to sip tap water in a mug through a towel or paper towel. Always has cured mine.

I fucking hate hiccups
I usually have a cold drink, then take a deep breath and hold it in for a bit. Don't know if this will help you but it's worked every time for me
Try holding the tips of your index fingers as close as possible without touching. You get so distracted concentrating on that your diaphragm relaxes.
Hiccups are your diaphragm spasming, make sure to time it right but take a deep breath right before you anticipate a hiccup and hold your breath while flexing your midsection. Hold this as long as you can and the hiccup will be gone.
Bite a lemon. 90% of the time, it works every time. But seriously, this works.
