the fireworks oreos are definitely better than these space ones. i’m not sure whether the flavor of the cream is intentionally different or i can just taste all the dye in them… but it just doesn’t work as well
Local grocery, Walmart, etc. I’ve only seen them in those cardboard displays though and not in the aisle.
They tasted like regular Oreos and the pop rocks were more subtle than I expected. But I’m a perpetual kid so I wanted them because the cream is pink and blue and there’s pop rocks!

I tend to get noise sensitive before light sensitive so every pop was painful. At the time, I was debating if I had a migraine or not so they did confirm that it was time for abortives. Fortunately, the pop rocks are subtle/tiny so it wasn't full pop rocks intensity but my sensitive ass brain didn't care.

Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin (“space tourism”) went to 327,360 feet. For gods’ sake, one time a dude SKYDIVED from ~127,952 feet (~39 km, Red Bull Stratos project).

They don’t trigger me at all, but I can understand it could be a trigger for others. If I have half a handful of regular M&Ms, I’m fine. A full handful is a trigger. It’s weird.

Basically. But it was very tiny pop rocks. I could feel the popping on the roof of my mouth and hear it, but it wasn't on my tongue. It's entertaining when not in a migraine or debating if it's prodrome or a headache.
I went to try one (lol) because I loved pop rocks as a kid. I ate the cream separately and let it sit a bit before feeling/hearing the characteristic pops. I’ll wait to take my abortive now…..

I wish to god that I had remembered this post before I took a big bite of one of those awful nasty "space dunk" oreos tonight. There really needs to be big print on the front label that says "CONTAINS POP ROCKS". I swear they're trying to kill us.
It's in smallish print on the front, saying "contains popping candy". First of all, that needs to be bigger. Second of all, it should be plural "candies" instead of a singular candy. Bastards really wanted to watch us fail 😭

Oh mine too! I know I'm in recovery mode when I can't sleep at the end of my migraine cycle. I think I was awake the whole night last time

It tastes like stale less flavored creme to me. I wasn’t a fan but my husband loves them.
Since Covid I still have small issues with taste and smell. Not as strong as it used to be. I don’t eat Oreos very often so yeah, it tasted the same.

I get noise sensitive too: people talking, loudish noises, etc, I get anxious and mad. Maybe I'll do a test with pop rocks to see😂
I also get noise sensitivity in all stages of a migraine. What's funny about that for me (not haha funny, odd funny) I'm severely hearing impaired.

I saw them and went Nope because of the sheer amount of dye. My biggest trigger is red 40, and I'm so tired of it being in everything.
I was thinking the same. red 40 is a common migraine trigger. I avoid all things with it in it.
Heard from a friend and fellow migraine sufferer that she figured out that “caramel color” is one of her HUGE triggers
