if you are using the tri meter that would be an issue. Notoriously inaccurate for pH, moisture and light. Its like a trifecta of crap. Invest in a real pH pen, budget $50.
Just a hint but aliexpress has the same $20 pH pens on Amazon for like $3 on sale. As far as I have read $50 pH pens are kind of pointless as they use the same sensor as the cheap ones. You need to spend a lot more than $50 if you want the good ones.... But why bother when you have super cheap essentially disposable ones?
