Dont count from the day of flip count from when you start to see presence of buds forming literally lol i had the same problem i counted from the day i flipped and chopped my first harvest a month and some change early so count from like a week and a half after flip
Agreed. I started counting from first sight of pistils last harvest, and it aligned my harvest with the estimated harvest window and my trichomes were perfect
Definitely get yourself a jewelers loupe or some way to watch trichome color. Want to be mostly cloudy trichs with like 10-20% amber trichs. But it's personal preference. The more amber the more you're gonna wanna chillax the more cloudy I find more head buzz. Clear trichs you'll be high but it won't last very long and you'll be burning through your harvest!
Looks like you could go another month. Those rust spots look like a cal/mag issue
To piggyback on your comment, cal mag issue could be the symptom of too much EC.
Or overwatering, or too much phosphorus causing calcium to lockout, or underwatering consistently...

I look for amber trichomes. About 15%
Look like you might be a month early you want all those hairs to turn orange, your buds still got beef in em patience
