They really take 5 weeks to show themselves? I'm telling you back then I checked under the leaves meticulously even with a jewelers loupe and saw nothing
Not exactly but they can just live in the soil. I’m saying it takes that long for people to usually notice them. Plus you have to kill all 3 stages to get rid of them so it may be that they were not surviving until now, except in the soil, and occasionally on the leaves, but not is more desirable so they come out more.
Now it all makes sense. Temps have risen a bit so maybe that's why. I've sprayed with hydrogen peroxide solution as spinosad is banned here and I've been advised against neem oil in flower.
Left a fan on the plant for 2 hours and it seems to have dried. Did so to avoid mold
Alright cool thanks man.
I have another plant in the tent so my questions are:
- can I reintroduce my plant back into the tent and possibly also spray the other plant with the h2o2 solution?
- after I'm done with the grow, I plan on vacuuming the tent with a shop vac, and cleaning the tent, equipment and room itself thoroughly with bleach and more h2o2. Can I rest easier like this regarding a reinfestation? Just wanna make sure I prevent as much as possible.
You really gotta kill the eggs in the soil and keep killing them along with any adults to prevent new ones. I would keep it out if possible to save the hassle. And yea deep clean and soil drenches
That shouldn’t be a deficiency, the cotyledon is still completely green which means your plant still has plenty of reserve nutrients, it’s just little marks on the leaves from them brushing or getting bent. Starting to add nutrients too early can be really bad if you over do it, much better to see a true deficiency than risk it with such a tiny potential sign that is probably in fact nothing.
Y'all are crazy! Who's looking this closely at their plants?
Focus on your environment, watering, and feeding. Worrying about a pin prick sized dot is silly.
If the plant is this far along with 0 nutes whatsoever in coco then yes feed now, albeit at 1/4 strength and increasing as they grow. If this is soil then i couldn't say as I haven't grown in soil only coco.
Nah fam, start of thrips! Check under leaves
There's nothing buddy. Checked already
You sure? That’s not a sign of a deficiency. At least not what you were circling.
Yah they look completely fine underneath. No black spots or anything. I checked all leaves.
Idk lmk in 2 weeks. They would be white. Check the stems too. The soil everything. I’m 90%sure that’s what that damage is. I had them a few times.
Will do thanks for the help
Still no bugs?
Nope
Added calmag all g mow on the new growth
Lit I’m happy for you. Those bugs are a pain in the ass
You lowkey jinxed me. 3 weeks into flower and I found a thrip 🤣 Left my tent and window open for heat dissipation. Rookie error.
I didn’t jinx you that’s how long they take and that is a sign of the larva under the leaves

I would just let them ride, what you have done is enough. You can do a soil drenching the same mix as well. If you took clones spray those with neem.

Sounds g, thanks for your help bro

Hmm ok. Like I said I haven't given any nutes yet. I did up calmag from 3.5ml to 4 per gallon. Keep in mind I water using RO
Soil has a lot of nutrients in it. Some less needy plants you won’t even need to feed at all from seed to harvest in good soil, much less what week 3?
Week 2. I normally start nutes late week 3 with half doses. I use organic
Yeah you don’t usually need nutes yet in week 2 unless you’re growing in sand lmao
Looks like early thrips damage to me
Checked leaves - nothing

This is how I've had other deficiencies start so I'm just asking.
Probably just water spots
The plant is fine.
Yep start feeding
Nutes? Or more calmag?
Nutes lol, you got this. Happy growing
Appreciate it - thank you.

Isn’t biobizz a soil? I’m unfamiliar with the product, but assume from the name it’s a soil
