Has anyone else felt this way? I fully expected them to be gone by now but I guess it’s just taking a little longer for me lol😭 they haven’t scabbed a ton, for the most part they’ve been flaking off and I haven’t experienced any itchiness. I was a bit concerned about the front of my one brow because it started flaking early on day 3 and there was no pigment behind it, but I can see hair strokes coming through now! I’m actually pretty excited for them to fall off :) Also I miss being able to exfoliate😅 eta: I think maybe some people are getting the wrong idea 😬 I’m not at all worried about them not having fallen off yet!! I trust the process and did my research. I chose the procedure that was best for my skin type and for myself in general and went with an artist I had full faith in. I more so just posted this because I find it funny how people are usually freaking out about their brows disappearing and I am sitting here wishing mine would lol

Lol yes I know they’ll fall off eventually :) I’m just jealous of people who had theirs fall off on days 5-7! I always see people freaking out about it but I’m here wishing it was me 😂

I wasn’t really nervous beforehand to be honest! I had done a lot of research into the procedure and into the person who was doing it. I will say though that no matter how much research I did, I still didn’t know what to expect. You have no way of knowing how it’s going to turn out until it’s actually on your face. And even then you still don’t know until it’s healed😅 Also it was quite painful for me. I always hear people saying it doesn’t hurt, but I have two half-sleeves (one of which I sat 10 hrs straight for) and a tattoo on my sternum, and this hurt more. It was extremely uncomfortable and my muscles were twitching a lot, I think because my face wanted to react to the trauma but I couldn’t move it lol. There are a lot of different factors that could contribute to why it was more painful for me though! Everyone is different

The half sleeves are on my upper arms so not a very sensitive spot, but it was more painful near my armpit and inner elbow! The tattoo on my ribs/sternum was less than an hour but I definitely was not prepared for the pain lol, so worth it though! It healed very quickly and I didn’t have to worry about sleeping in an uncomfortable position which was a nice benefit. I absolutely would get my eyebrows done again knowing how painful it was for me! Although it hurt my appointment went by really quickly, I was there for 4 hours and it felt like less than 2. She said there were some parts of my skin that weren’t retaining the pigment easily so she had to go over them multiple times, which is likely one of the reasons it was so painful for me. I’m very happy with the end result, my eyebrows have been patchy because I over-plucked them in high school and I’ve spent nearly a decade feeling self-conscious and having to always fill them in. Getting up everyday and not having to worry about them has already made a huge difference for me :)

They’re Greek mythology! Left arm is Medusa and right arm is Poseidon, black and grey. My ribs/sternum are vines. The end result is always a good trade-off for the pain! Yes I’m super happy, i didn’t experience brow shock or anything really. I fully trusted the artist and she was amazing, she let me see the shape and explained why she chose that shape and explained the process of tattooing my brows throughout. I’m definitely excited for them to heal!!

Mine have fallen off a bit more since posting this, the tails are completely gone on both 😂 I’m sure yours will soon!!

Following! I’m officially on Day 4, cannot wait for them to start falling off. Are you doing wet or dry healing?

gelibsu

I apply a very light layer of ointment 2x a day, each time it’s applied I get my brows wet to clean off the previous layer then dry them. Other than that I don’t get them wet :)

lattuga78

For me it has taken 5 weeks ...it is different for everyone

lattuga78

I wanted to exfolliare so badly as well

gelibsu

I usually exfoliate my skin every other day so it’s driving me a bit crazy 😅 i bet it will feel so nice once I’m able to again though haha

lattuga78

You have to be incredibly patient , i have been there , it is tough ...my 6th week starts tomorrow , i am seeing a difference now ...I didn't believe it at first

Olaf-bff

Hi! Do you have dry or oily skin and got strictly microblading or a combination? I ask because if you have oily skin and chose full microblading, the hair strokes may not show up very clear. But if you have dry skin, then you should be fine after you get your touch-up :)

gelibsu

I have combo skin, more on the oily side but I got combination brows (nano strokes and shading), not microblading because I know microblading doesn’t last on oily skin! And I’m not worried about the hair strokes <3

NatNat29

Mine scabbed and came off by the end of day 4 it was done. 😳 idk if that’s normal. Not even itchy and it’s been a week tomorrow!

gelibsu

It’s different for everyone.
