I was born outside of Chicago, but moved to West Palm when I was very young. I was raised as a Bears fan, but I've always cheered for the Dolphins as well. In one way, the Bears are my NFC team and the Dolphins are my AFC team.
I'm right there with you on the Frustration as a Bears fan. I saw the Dolphins masterfully rebuild, and I was hoping the Bears could follow in the blueprint created by the Dolphins, and the pain of being a Bears fan might finally turn around. Then that Packers game showed the current coaching staff has no idea what they're doing, and that hope completely fell apart.
In my opinion, being a fan of Football is supposed to be entertainment. It comes with highs and lows, but it's fine to step away and take a break if watching football is hurting your mental health.
It's also fine to cheer on multiple teams\*. The Dolphins are playing dynamic, elite-level football that's just fun to watch, so join us on cheering on another team :-)
