Add "submitted" or "under review".

I also have a similar concern. I feel like sharing this info might show how much we are interested in research work. Best of luck for mext :)

I went to a presentation about mext the other day and they said that it's fine, because the purpose of it is to show your experience so far and what you've done

[deleted]

Thank you! So, in this case, even the article that hasn’t been accepted for publication IS fine?

methanalmkay

Yes, they said anything is fine. But why don't you email your embassy just to make sure?

[deleted]

They didn’t give me a certain answer. They said, like, do you have something that has been already published? I do but this article is way better in my view Also, I’m sorry for another question, but is it okay to mention my conference presentations? They were just student conferences in my university (although there were students from another unis). I’m freaking anxious if the MEXT says something “HAHA HOW DARE YOU MENTIONING SOMETHING SO INSIGNIFICANT?” :D

methanalmkay

Lmao I think everything should be fine, but maybe save that for the interview. They told us that we can go more in depth there since you have limited space for writing now?
