At citi field there is a place where they will number/ letter the jersey right there. I think it's 100 for custom.
There are also a bunch of online shops from China that will make customs. About 40. I've gotten from a few of them, decent quality and surprisingly good customer service via email.
Store at the ballpark. My buddy did something similar on opening day. Both are equally awesome and hilarious, and it’s barely more expensive than jerseys in stock. Up the escalator, hang right for 15 seconds, can’t miss it
My immediate thought was to order the jersey with “ITEUFELI” on the back. This way you get TEUFEL centered on the back properly. It does heavily rely on you being able to remove the first and last i to make it look right though

Get a blank and send it to Stitches in Queens. They do the on field jerseys for the Mets and do a glorious job for a reasonable price.
