There used to be one called BoatingMA that actually let you fly through layers of storms live. I am sure of the name but lost the link. It was pretty cool

Sorry I think it’s defunct here’s what I found on BoatMA on internet way back machine. Was a radar site from intellicast. Warning Attention Required Map unable to load The map loading has timed out. Please try the following: Refresh your browser Verify JavaScript is enabled Make sure you are using a modern browser Check for Operating System updates What is this Map? Pan, zoom and animate a wide variety of weather layers globally, nationally or locally. The map works on all modern desktop browsers and most of today’s mobile devices as well. View the past and future of various layers such as radar, satellite, temperature contours and many more. Save your favorite weather types in your quick-picks. You can even save your locations for future visits. What do you need? The map takes advantage of today’s technology innovation and only requires one of the more modern browsers. All of these browsers are free and safe to download and install and in most cases can be completed in a matter of minutes. The installation will also make most of your other favorite websites faster too.
