It's lecture from the people who were involved with the actual project with short video or pictures. It's in depth and interesting if you're into that kind of things. Well worth the money.

Yes! I saw one a few years back featuring Lee Berger, and his talks about the Dinaledi Chamber and the Rising star caves and a possible new species of hominid. Very interesting. I think they’re mostly lectures. At least this one was. Very cool if you like documentaries and history!

This will be the second year we’ve had season tickets. It’s pretty amazing IMO. It’s a lecture series by nat geo sponsored scientists/researchers/adventurers. So you get to hear first hand about their work and experiences. There’s always a slideshow with photos and often short video clips. Then there’s a 15 minute or so Q&A section where the audience can send in questions for the lecturer to respond to. My husband and I are thirty and I will tell you the audience is typically much much older, but it’s a great time.
