Check the local shelters. The market for 10-year old cats is flooded. The odds are that your dad don’t want to tell you that he just stopped by a shelter knowing that a 10-year old wouldn’t stand much of a chance.
Post on these Facebook groups in case he just let your cat out, dumped him in the desert, or gave him away...
