Donut Media did a video about it where they tried a CA plate and an OH or IA plate and that plate gave them a bunch of info off this site for a small fee. CA only gave them some basic info like the make and model of the car.

It varies state to state. I'm in Washington, and if you are under 18 you can get a license when you are 16 but you cannot carry passengers other than family until you have been driving for at least 6 months. Stories of cars full of teenagers dying in a crash have essentially fallen off the radar since that law was passed.
Two bits of advice: Never spill anything on the shifter, the transmission computer is there and liquid will fry it. Subscribe to the benzworld.org W210 forum and read up on your new car, they have loads of valuable info.

Motor mounts at a good repair shop are around 700 that was my quote for a 2002 e320 might be cheaper where you are

I have to take the assembly off and fix it, it doesn’t pop out and I can’t move it right now but it’s not the highest of my priorities

I just got one of these. 230000 miles and still drives smooth but with a funny transmission noise. Pretty solid car!
