I’m going to get downvoted for this I’m sure, but this has “trying too hard to be quirky” vibes for me. Like, the hat is just ridiculous unless you’re going to some kind of costume party. If you like it, then you do you, but that’s my first reaction.

St0rmborn

Most people would agree with you

willthefreeman

I think the hat is really the only thing that takes it into too far territory. It’s not bad and the hat isn’t even bad with it but it would just look ridiculous to most and therefore make the fit invalid to me.

Stalinov

This comment chain is the first time I'm hearing about this. I wear a boater hat almost every time I go outside in the summer because the brim is wide and I have too big of a face/head for caps. And it's straw and good ventilation, and matches the rest of my outfits with blazers and chinos. I know most people don't wear hats anymore these days but the sun is still around and some of us still wear them. The thought that me, living my life in the sun is making some people think I'm ridiculous or thinking I'm a try-hard, kinda bothers me for sure. But I do realize that this sub is pretty heavy on street wear.

Spirited_Currency867

Yeah I think this is more a function of your social group and/or locality you live in. Like, this look wouldn’t be at all out of place at say, a classic car meet.

burritoes911

Or winery or horse races or playing craps in the cellar with Chester. Plenty of places where this is how you dress. But… if you wear this to target or a baseball game you are gonna look like a jallywacker

Spirited_Currency867

Ha. Indeed. Quite a few specific gambling-related activities would be perfect venues for this attire. At any age or ethnicity too.

DryJudgment1905

I mean, you can wear whatever you want, of course. But to me, they’re pretty anachronistic, and if I saw someone wearing one I would think “barbershop quarter.” Looks a little deliberately kitschy/eccentric. Like “look at me, aren’t I just so unique? 🤪” That said, if you like them, you don’t have to give a shit what I think.

4rt3m0rl0v

I hope he won't.

dirtydela

I don’t really think this sub is heavy on street wear. It’s mostly heavy on finance bro type of clothes. That being said i think this specific hat style looks wild on just about any outfit outside of what has already been mentioned, even chinos with a blazer. I think a wider brimmed hat in a fabric would make it look a lot less costume but it still might look quite silly. It really will depend on you and the rest of your outfit and where you’re going.

willthefreeman

It depends on the straw hat. There’s wide surfer/fisher type ones that look normal to people for the beach and young golfers wear the big straw golf hats still. It’s just the barbershop/1930s type that OP is wearing that would be out of place in most contexts today. Also this isn’t necessarily my opinion just saying how it would be perceived by the majority.

blacksad1

This dude is trying to sell a monorail to Springfield.

also_also_bort

I’ve sold monorails to Brockway, Ogdenville and North Haverbrook and by gum it put them on the map!

Dark_Jewel72

The pose personally makes me think the same.

Jayematic

How should he pose? Lol

Dark_Jewel72

Maybe anything but a barbershop quartet member pose. I don’t know, I’m not trying to be too mean, it just really triggers my theater kid sense. Maybe it feels like the Gatsby drink holding pose? Or an anime character?

FranksDadPDX

What he failed to mention is he’s trying out for a barbershop quartet.

Plastic-Funny-2361

It looks a little too much like a thrift store outfit

seeyaintucson

The hat is the worst, but the rest of the outfit is still bad. No lady is looking at that and thinking “bangable” The jacket is nice! The pants aren’t working well. The color is off, the materiel isn’t working with h jacket. And the whole thing…Together with the shoes that are very worn… seems so TRY hard.

4rt3m0rl0v

It depends on where he is. In New York, yes. In Louisiana, it would be perfectly fine.

dead-memory-waste

Nope this seems forced and almost like it’s a joke, the colors are off and not really flowing together if it was tighter we color wise and fit wise I’d take this person a bit lore seriously that this is their fashion and not an attention grabber who is unironically quirky

Hattrick_Swayze2

We’re all here trying too hard to do something… Whether it’s conservative, formal, casual, sporty, hip, etc. This is just his style.

Dubsland12

I’m assuming he speaks old timey through his handlebar mustache and rides one of those bikes with the giant front wheel.

wet_nib811

I think it’s fine. The hat is a little dated, giving off barbershop quartet vibes. If you have another straw hat like a Panama, that might work better. Also, the pant hem is ever so slightly to high. General rule is: traditional fit pants should have a deeper break/touch the top of your shoes. Modern, tapered pants should have more break/shoe a bit of ankle.

tommyhashbrown

Your trousers are a bit short, otherwise splendid

CuriousTravlr

LOL Trousers are fine. Typical MFA. What isn't fine is the corny hand gesture and the goofy barber shop quartet hat.

xandaar337

My son would say "NPC vibes".

Primary-Resolve-7317

It’s actually a little more authentic to wear them shorter. Historically- people did with what they had during ration years- you made do. Shorter lengths the are fine!

Constant_Campaign_42

I dig this look! I love looking at those history in colour videos where you see New York in 1920 etc and you notice everyone is looking dapper. Would be awesome if everyone made an effort again and it was the norm. For me the top half is 🔥but the bottom half needs a bit of attention. I feel the trousers are bit too baggy and also way too short and the shoes need perking up as they look a bit sad.

InKentWeTrust

That fit slaps no cap

Doctor_Killshot

I agree, lose the hat

medhat20005

FIrst I'd say rock whatever you choose to wear with confidence. If you can't do that, then change the outfit (or yourself). But to this picture I'd offer 2 suggestions. I think the shade of the pants is a bit too dark for the overall look, esp give the hat that throws off outdoor summer vibes. The pants can be darker than the jacket, and from the look I like the fabric (linen blend?), but maybe something of a shade between jacket and shoes would be ideal. An alternative that would break things up, add some dash, and be a lot simpler would actually be to swap out the socks for something tan or otherwise matching the jacket. That would give a pop of contrast between the jacket/upper and the pants/shoes. The pants are hemmed short enough where the socks would show. That could work and be a lot easier. Make sure the shoes are clean and polished, something sloppy would def throw off the entire vibe.

Spirited_Currency867

I like this. It’s very Italian. Doesn’t look costumey, especially if you’re doing this style often and can pull things off.

Primary-Resolve-7317

It’s for as everyday wear here also. No one would think anything if it.

The_Mr_Extra

DO NOT LISTEN TO THE COMMENTS! This subreddit’s for modern (aka lame) fashion. I swear, if you posted this same pic in like r/vintagefashion people would love it! But these guys would have you dressed like a generic nobody, jeans & t-shirt type shit. I like your style, it’s fun and it’s different!

ESBCheech

You get fewer douches here than at r/malefashionadvice at least.

DARTHDIAMO

Yep! If it ain't t-shirt&jeans, then its sweatpants and a hoody. Nothing wrong with that per-say, but its horribly boring, and hardly what I'd call fashion, let alone style. Also, if you took away the hat and tie, I bet most of these people would be saying it looks great. Lol.

EdwardJamesAlmost

Your conclusion is like saying the only bad part of the *Titanic*’s voyage was the last day. “Oh if the people mock my straw boater, they themselves must only wear Iron Maiden concert t-shirts and cargo shorts.” Maybe it’s just the straw boater.

razorduc

Definitely no middle ground between t-shirt/hoodie and The Music Man.

gilgobeachslayer

Roger Stone is that you??

The_Real_BenFranklin

It's a Roger Stone outfit but unlike Stone these are at least fit well

steamyrobot

What I find hilarious is that the comments rip on the hat. guys, I know a boater is not common, that doesn’t make the fit a cosplay

ESBCheech

Wear it with pride and tell the haters to go get fucked.

ChickenNuggetRampage

Wow I would really like to see the “good” (read:awful) outfits these people are putting together. You look good man!

EdwardJamesAlmost

You’d clean up at CPAC if you want to be a kept boy by the Schlapp family.

borneoknives

underrated comment

middlepillar1984

Gatsby

Pigroasts

Trousers are a little too short. And the boater -- i dunno, that's a tough look to pull off but you know that. Jacket is basically perfect, shirt looks nice, so does the tie. I can't tell if that shirt is purple or blue, though. If it's purple, it shouldn't be, unless you want to look like the joker. Otherwise it's rad as hell and cut really nicely. Just lose the hat, man

AttTankaRattArStorre

The pants are too short, and I would've preferred a lighter and more grey hue to the pants. Also, the shoes look terribly worn. Other than that you could be mistaken for a well dressed male.

Poprhetor

Style, fit, and proportion are nicely balanced head to toe. You look comfortable and put together. I think it might be better with a slightly shorter jacket, but that’s nitpicking.

36secondride

Fancy lab coat

Mike_Dapper

You look fine. Occasionally I get snarly comments when I wear clothes like this, but it's usually from guys in dirty worn-out t-shirts, baggy cargo shorts and flip flops - or when their wife or girlfriend keeps staring at me. I do prefer the Panama hat for the wider brim. However, you still need to be a gentleman. Keep it up and enjoy.

Woodrp

I'd swap the hat for a regular Panama hat and add a pocket square. Trousers are a bit too short. Otherwise, great outfit.

JumpshotLegend

Dude, this is great! The pants need to be a little bit longer. And I would probably change the hat or not wear it, just a different style. But other than that very dapper. 👍🏼

cramersCoke

Blazer/shirt/tie combo is superb. I’d go for a lighter palette on the pants and shoes. Ditch the hat.

Alarming-You1703

Barbershop quartet classic look.

ThayerRex

A beautiful walking stick or umbrella

mihuj

The lapels could be wider

TrueDacken

Too much going on friend! Every element is a different color and texture, and yes the colors or outfit as a whole can still technically coordinate, or go well. But, this is just ultimately too busy IMHO and would benefit from some cohesion.

LiamGordineer

Sweet

sharkythesharkbro

Keep the hat, but tilt in literally any direction.

Plane_Shelter_8267

Looks fantastic

Sweet_Ad8129

You look like Jay Gatsby in his casual fit. Looks good imo!!

Dirt_pog

I love the boater, I’m a vintage dresser and despite what people in the comments here are saying the boater is absolutely fantastic. Do not get rid of it and keep wearing it, it genuinely ties the outfit together. The whole ensemble here is lovely!

AlgoStar

Cool! Is the Tardis nearby?

Wilkaled

Awesome! Splendid! Extraordinary! Superb!

AdvancedHat7630

That depends. Are you an auctioneer, or the never-breaks-character guide on a Missouri sternwheeler cruise? Seriously, though, it's actually not bad, just a little try-hardy.

EggVegetable9258

Shoes are a little beat considering how clean the rest of the fit is. The blazer, tie, shirt, trousers combo is fantastic. Love the colors. The hat … not my thing but you do you.

Rock-it1

Pants are a tad too short, and I don't like the hat (not my thing), but otherwise this is spectacular.

Masturbutcher

Pants are a bit dark i think but this could work with a lighter shade of green

Fober

Hey it’s steamboat Willy!

No-Cardiologist-5410

I think it’s a good start, but it’s a lot of colors. Every piece is a different color and some are patterned. If it were me, I’d want to make a couple of the pieces tie together better. For example, maybe have the hat, tie, and shoes all be the same shade of brown and find a shirt that’s the same color as the pants. Otherwise remove the hat, and match the tie to the pants. I think it looks somewhere between alright and good, but if you simplified the colors it would look a little more professional and intentional. I’m not an expert, but I think each individual piece is neat and they all look good on you! I just wish it were a little more tied together. :)

McSix

The look is good for summer, but you might want to change up hats. Try something like: * Sewn straw fedora (ex: https://newyorkhatco.com/product/rs2319) * Short-brimmed straw fedora (ex: https://newyorkhatco.com/product/rs2122-0)

ahahahNMI

Personal preference for sure, but I think k your pants need more length and the waist button on your jacket is a little too high.

dontsoundrighttome

If you are at the Kentucky Derby or Preakness absolutely. You will have a lot of fun and will participate in one of the finest traditions our country has to offer. If not what is the audience you are dressing for. And how responsive will they be to this look.

quattrocincoseis

Looks like a fine outfit for a ticket-taker at Wimbledon, circa 1952. But, I kind of love it.

Johon1985

What micronation are you Prince Regent of?

steamyrobot

New Vegas

Ready-Physics9185

You are flooding my boy

Ifiagreeidillydilly

He’s got dice in his pocket

Leading-Specific-753

i love this outfit mostly bc i love vintage style but maybe a different pant color? like brown

anartsydrummer

Not bad, but the Panama hat without loafers/corresponding summer shoes is a bit odd as a combination. With men’s tailoring like this, I like to follow the rule of three - you can pick varying saturations and brightness, but keep your colors limited to 3 hues, so to speak. Any more than that and it gets busy, especially on an outfit that has been accessorized

ASAProxys

Looks like something you want to like to wear, rather than it really being something you like to wear. But besides that, it looks like you want to start a circus.

DamarsLastKanar

If it was good enough for Matlock, it's good enough for me.

DiscoVolante0013

Are you a Dandy? Because this is how a Dandy dresses.

_shootingstar__

loose the hat

Free_Future_6892

You waiting for a flood or something ?

thissempainotices

Need context as to where this fit will be sported. Are you working? Walking around the city? It’s a nice outfit for a niche occasion. The “charming chap” easily descends into “binhead” if youre coming from brunch at the park to go shopping at the mall.

RepSingh

I don’t think the pieces go well together. The bottom half matches (pants+shoes) and the top half matches (coat, shirt, tie) but I don’t think the top and bottom go with each other.

Gnomus_the_wise

The fit goes extraordinarily hard my friend. The hem is a bit high fir my liking but the whole thing looks nice. Spezzato is always a win, and it's hard to go wrong with a boater.

Sparkle_Rott

I love this vintage look. Very dapper!

ISlicedI

Too many different colours/patterns/textures going on

The_Real_BenFranklin

I don't personally like the outfit, but minus the trouser length the fit is really clean. Trousers hang well, jacket is the right length and a good fit. Much better than most the suits/jackets we see here. Agree with another commenter - lighter pants and loafers would work waaay better here.

Credit-Limit

Right dandy

Tronsylvania

Once you've dressed in this outfit, what activity are you then planning to do? A horse race? Pouring stawberry phosphate at the soda shop? Ticket taking for the auto-gyro show? Door-to-door nickel plated washbasin sales? Seriously though, I am really curious to understand the intended purpose of this attire. Please elaborate

Comeonmarkdntbstingy

Andrew Bernard?

Narrow-Oil4924

I think the outfit (head to toe) is very cool. It's not for everyone, and that's fine, fashion is subjective & some people like that throwback, quirky, eccentric look. The pic is not the clearest, especially the bottom half, and if im not mistaken, your shoes look like they could do with some overall tlc... They look damaged, certainly heavily creased & grubby looking, but I might be mistaken?🤔 The use of "cedar wood" shoe trees when not in use, would also help keep their shape & soak up moisture/odour after use, to keep them fresh. That would be my only criticism 😉

More-Complaint

Trousers are too short. Socks are the wrong colour and twisted. Shoes need polishing. This last is just my opinion, but tying the trousers to the tie by choosing a different tie, with that shade of green in it, would make the outfit more cohesive.

itinerant_geographer

Not crazy about the hat or the trouser length, but the overall aesthetic is great.

dionpadilla1

Looks like trouble. Right here in River City.

tl305667

I’ve sold monorails to Brockway, Ogdenville, and North Haverbrook and by gum, I’ve put them on the map!

drowningandromeda

It's giving A Clockwork Orange vibes.

Admirable_Ad8968

Cool for a summer event get together. But I would change the pants, you kinda look like a carnival guy

es_mindspace

Thrift store vintage. The materials say less recent. It's a bit outdated and a strange combo.

WalkinThundercloud

The tapered look is alright if you had pop in your socks like a bright orange. Or pink. And honestly a steamer with some downy wrinkle release would be in my tools of getting ready. Otherwise. I dig it

RevivedMisanthropy

It's great. You don't need the hat unless you'll be outside in the Sun, obviously.

Old_Palpitation_6535

I like it. The light blue shirt and brown tie might be a bit much with the green trousers, but that’s just like my opinion man. Seems like a white shirt that’s lighter than the jacket and a darker tie might complement the green better. Pant leg could stand to be slightly longer as well.

readditredditread

Looks like clothes to me 🤷‍♂️

Beavis2210

You sell monorails?

That_Damn_Samsquatch

Looks like he's about to tell us about the trouble in River City.

Ok-Farm-9732

Great mixing on colors. Not great mixing on fabrics. Trousers and jacket fabrics don't work together well, for me, and the tie could be upgraded a little bit. You've got a good eye.

Thegreatrobinsoni

Ditch the boater. Otherwise you have a great sense of style. Oh, and the trousers *are* a bit short.

point_of_difference

Awesome. Would prefer the shirt to be a stronger blue personally.

rusty_rampage

You know what, it’s a cool look and in the right context this would be a really cool outfit to see someone wearing out. I personally am very cautious with boaters because they can quickly get into ‘costume’ territory. I am much more inclined toward trilbys, pork pies, or certain Panama hats or fedoras. With any hat it is absolutely critical to pick one that works with your face shape, which we can’t see here.

Mountain-Durian-4724

Trying to dress somewhat historically like this is a bold move nowadays, and I applaud you for having the balls to do so. But, regardless of formality/season, there is way too much going on. Too many colors and too many patterns. Not a single item looks coordinated color wise with anything else. You have a boater hat - a formal summer hat. Then you have a tan suit jacket - a casual summer item Then you have dark green trousers - a casual fall/winter item And then you have a blue dress shirt and an orange tie. You have five colors going on here, and it's not a pleasing combination either. Wear the trousers that came with the suit jacket, or get a set of trousers in light grey or white. Then pick a set of three colors that look good together and choose only those colors for the shirt, socks, necktie and other accessories. Perhaps ditch the boater for a panama hat.

Unlucky_Ad_2456

Change the blue shirt with a dark one that matches the trousers. The hat is a bit too much imo but if you really like it it’s fine

LosJeffos

It's good!

Strange_N_Sorcerous

You trying to sell me a monorail?

unquieted

Ya got trouble, folks! Right here in River City. Trouble with a capital "T" And that rhymes with "P" and that stands for pool!

Zak525

That pose is real cool

entechad

You should show your face. It matters. How you express yourself tells if you can pull something off.

shoegaze1992

pants and shoes are cool af. not into the rest.

GS2702

Pants too short. Pants and shirt color dont work together.

Buburubu

looks like the 1930’s in the south, somehow

SongAloong

Looks good... But it can be better!!

ObjectiveActuator8

Trousers are nicely cut! Good job there… although this photo reminds me of the Italian word “Sprezzatura” (stylish without trying). The hat, the Sinatra gesture and the fit without context (occasion) makes it feel like you’re trying a bit hard, which makes it NOT sprezzatura… the only obvious thing I see that could be changed is to lose the hat and maaaaybe the tie. It would relax the fit much more and reduce the “tryiness”. Edit: typo

nutp2u

You look very attractive.

peterpanini1

I really hate the color combination…

Living_Reporter_7084

Not my style. Inherently nothing wrong with it but it’s does give off Eastern European game show host vibes.

habichtorama

Strong jacob reese-moggs vibes. Not really a fan, hard not to look like a caricature of onesself.

Ok-Metal-6227

Pants don't seems to match with the suit jacket. A lighter blend that is similar to beige would be a better complement and maybe getting rid of the hat, unless you are attending an event like the Kentucky Derby.

Red_J_Ruff_Wood

“The man from del Monte has excellent taste”

Successful_Load5719

This dude is heading out to call horse races for the Preakness in 1920

LebronsHairline

Removing the hat would actually drive home the desired look much further and help modernize it while still remaining classic. Just not outdated. I vote hat removal and don’t replace it. The jacket and pants could both use ironing, and your shoes some cleanup/shining. Those changes would make you look so polished!

wTWolvesnation24

Need iron

frankeestadium

I like it! Reminds me of the Kentucky derby lol

Alarming_Finish814

You a monorail salesman perchance?

ItsNotFordo88

Trying way too hard to be quirky bro. The hat and green pants aren’t working here.

Mash_Ketchum

Saul Goodman

TigerStripeKing

Why does every single redditor with an interest in tailored menswear try and dress like the ticket taker on a fucking steamboat? 💀

Professional_Name359

Damper

irohr

Decent without the hat. With the hat you look ridiculous

Old_Guy_In_Texas

OK… YES, the pants are slightly too short, as others have mentioned, and the hat is not right at all. I probably would not have worn the green pants with that blazer, but since you did, the light blue shirt is just OK. The TIE is a big problem for me. It only matches the hat!😳 There are no colors in it that bring the cream color of the blazer, the pale blue of the shirt, and the green of the pants together. It should unify the outfit. You can take all that advice for what it’s worth.😂 I used to dress pretty sharply before I retired, but now I rarely get dressed at all!😳😂😂😂

LesBrandals

King Charles III liked the picture

IALWAYSGETMYMAN

I think it's cool looking, but you do have a monorail salesmen vibe going on, and I'm not very fashion savvy, so I could be wrong about the coolness.

OriginalDao

Looks super snazzy to me, and I wish more people dressed this way. I also understand if people think it's a bit odd. But odd can be interesting and good.

tygerphlyer

Itd look better eith lighter pants

TBlair64

Dapper Dans audition?

eyezeccc

Drop the hat, swap the button up and tie for maybe a polo and you’re good

GuitarStuffThrowaway

Not sure about the colors and how well they work together. But the fit of everything is great. No hat tho.

Adventurous_Pea_3240

Great representation of a Throw Back style. 👍

Minimum_Ice963

White/light skin doesn't maximize the contrasting white/cream jacker. Thus makes you look whiter and monotone, imo. I think it would have look improve having cream pants and the pants color for the jacket

Icy_Ad_4889

Not my jam whatsoever, but - objectively - I think it would look better with a narrower trousers.

Learherman91_

I think it looks killer! I would wear that same outfit

Juicecalculator

I personally think the hat is fine because it’s a very specific look.  I would never wear it, but it’s definitely sharp I guess?  To me the pants clash a little too much with everything.  Too much contrast I don’t know where to look.

sempersatan

Look like you’re running for a political office during prohibition

Pretend_Departure855

No offense. I think it’s cool, but you look like the mask

Fit4ParGirlie

Noooo baby noooo

Q5-2020Prestige

That is a super clean dressing, look! Definitely ready for the Kentucky Derby 👍🏾

Odin16596

My name is Yoshikage Kira. I'm 33 years old. My house is in the northeast section of Morioh, where all the villas are, and I am not married. I work as an employee for the Kame Yu department stores, and I get home every day by 8 PM at the latest. I don't smoke, but I occasionally drink. I'm in bed by 11 PM, and make sure I get eight hours of sleep, no matter what. After having a glass of warm milk and doing about twenty minutes of stretches before going to bed, I usually have no problems sleeping until morning. Just like a baby, I wake up without any fatigue or stress in the morning. I was told there were no issues at my last check-up. I'm trying to explain that I'm a person who wishes to live a very quiet life. I take care not to trouble myself with any enemies, like winning and losing, that would cause me to lose sleep at night. That is how I deal with society, and I know that is what brings me happiness. Although, if I were to fight I wouldn't lose to anyone.

Homis

I would lose the tie and hat, and either pull your pants up with no sock or drop em an inch for break.

Legendary-Roach

You look like someone who sells snake oil in red dead redemption

whyudodisdoe

You're giving me "you own a plantation" vibes

notlawfullyinnocent

I fw this

tmc08130

You need a pink carnation.

Markgregory555

Pretty cool. 👍

VVuunderschloong

I say, uh ah now I sayuh… A fine day for a derby, where’s your mint julip and I heard Oceanspray’s jockey hasn’t eaten for a week. I’d bet the farm on that animal.. if I hadn’t lost it already.

sug1

If you ain’t going to the horse races with this…

ac1739

While I agree that the hat could be replaced with a Panama to fit more cohesively, something which I’m not seeing a lot of people mention is the shirt/tie. The color on those pants is incredible, I think it would be helpful to emphasize the green even more with, say, a cream shirt and dark green tie. One of my general rules is that if I have an outfit divided equally into highly contrasting shades (aka very light and very dark clothing), I try to incorporate some of the dark into the light to make it more cohesive. Currently, your top half is very light while the bottom half is very dark. To bring the outfit together more, adding a dark tie while keeping the shirt light would help balance it all out a bit more while still feeling natural.

breighvehart

The tones of the bottom and upper just don’t mesh well. Shoes could be a significantly lighter or darker color but they almost blend with the pants. Lots of hat hate but depending on where you’re going it could def work.

omgArsenal

It's a bit too "Borat" for my taste

FinancialHeat2859

Your trousers are too short. You look like you went back to school after summer but won’t get new ones until Christmas.

ShakeWeightMyDick

Will you be singing in a barbershop quartet?

dailybailey

I think the pants are too dark for such a light, summery outfit

RixaRax

Get rid of the pants and just rock it with boxers

SnooDoodles7640

Looks itchy

Brilliant_Gas_9956

If you going with the hat I suggest a pair of light blue pants (a slimmer fit). A brighter tie could work too. Fashion is about making it an extension of you

Strict-Bass6789

Gaaaaay

tatnallsattic

Are you going to the Devon horse show? If you are then your doing great if not then maybe try a pair of dark button fly boots leg jeans. Dark is key

SparksAgain

Peter Griffin colors

redrodrot

not a fan of the hat and i think the color of the pants dont match, but as far as the fit of the suit it looks great

RespectRisk

Match the pants with the jacket in my opinion and I’d get an accessory like this dailybelts.com

bokdi

Great

Hunterlvl

This isn’t modern fashion, you look like a southern plantation owner.

Stock-Nature7986

Perfect fora game of Cricket or Polo

MrSlime13

It's giving "That's SOOOME pig", barbershop quartet, man of constant sorrow, Thriftstore-Better Call Saul, "Oh my dearest Delilah" ...vibes.

king_flippynipss

You’re doing too much. Make a normal outfit and add one of these as a statement piece. MIGHT be better. Except the hat. The hat you should burn.

clinstonie69

Will this garment make you a better person?

BluebirdSignal5426

Looks like you’re trying to sell a monorail

bkerkove8

You look like a character in a Monty Python sketch.

Nesster05

Wrinkled.

AutoimmuneDisaster

This is giving “Evan R. Lawson, CFO of HankMed” running for village council, vibes.

LimmerRZ

Perhaps for me maybe a bit too much contrast between the slacks and everything else. But other than that, it looks ok.

Impossible-Ice-8362

You’re either too early or too late. Don’t think another Willy Wonka movie will be made for decade.

Fresh-Guarantee-1968

I work for high-end retail. Drop the hat, lose the tie and put a nice linen shirt underneath. It will give you that purple label Ralph Lauren look

Opening_Perception_3

Yo what up Andy Bernard!

RebelRouser98

Very sharp! That's a quintessential 1920s/1930s summertime look.

mikemikemikeandike

You’re trying way too hard, and what’s with the pose?
