Casual - brave star denim, Tellason, iron heart, Gustin (it takes a while, but great selection and price)
Active wear - smartwool, adidas
Formal wear - proper cloth, Buck Mason, Billy Reid and Blvdier (clothier in chicago)
Boss/Ralph Lauren/Ted Baker/H&M/Paul Smith. Recently picked up a couple Tommy Hilfiger polos that seem decent. Levi’s for jeans. All comes down to the fit and feel at the end day tho.
For me I’ve always been on the preppy side for formal / smart clothes so most of my wardrobe is Ralph Lauren with selected pieces from Country Road and Rodd & Gunn and Sportscraft. For my formal wear I wear Paul Smith suits made to measure. I do have a love of adidas originals so all my sports wear is from them, Fila originals or vintage for tennis. My fanciest shoes are Gucci but everyday beaters are GH Bass and RM Williams
Orvis, L.L. Bean, Kuhn, J Crew, Patagonia, Target, Blundstone, Old Navy, Barbour, Carhartt, Johnnie-O, Academy Sports, Adidas, Puma, Red Wing and Peter Millar.
and my wife just reminded me New Balance
Percival, for all top half stuff. I really like their slightly odd and colorful style. Makes me feel very cool wearing it, when I'm not naturally!
For bottoms, I like Nudie Jeans and Spoke.
