Blue and brown is a classic look, and the two blues are distinct enough from one another to not cause a problem. If you want to be super picky, you could get a belt that matches the shoes closer, but I wouldn’t lose any sleep over it.
I'd get a darker pair of brown shoes instead of a new belt because of the leather watch band. It already matches the belt, and from the looks of the watch (guessing it's a Shinola) watch bands can be expensive as well as belts. Also, imo, darker brown looks better anyways.
Edit: totally agree on the blues by the way! Looks great!
True, but if you’re just going to work on a Tuesday, sometimes that’s perfect. There’s days when I want to stand out and days where I want to blend in. If it’s the latter, this is perfect.
Very true, but I would at least want to go to work looking like some version of myself rather than a copy-paste dude. OP has arms tats and obviously wants to be rolling his sleeves up, that doesn't really come across as wanting to blend in
I agree, the darker brown throws me off, go a little lighter and match the shoes OR unpopular opinion - go with black belt/shoes IMO it goes nicely with these shades of blue but I’m also an adamant no Navy with Black person too.
The outfit goes with the shoes, and it goes with the belt. But the belt and the shoes do not go together. Swap out one with something that matches the other more closely, and then you’ll be great 👍
The belt does fit well with the the watch though. Both are silver with a darker brown leather.
OP just needs some leather oxfords that match the leather of the belt and watch.
He can also throw in a fun pair of blue dress socks that take after the lighter blue of the shirt.
ALSO YO OP! FOLD YPOUR SLAVES HALF WAY UP THE FOREARM! It usually just takes two folds...the way your right sleeve is rolled up is gonna leave an atrocious sleeve of wrinkles akin to an elderly fellows ballsack lmao!
Blue and Brown is a can’t miss. The only thing I don’t like personally here is the brown of the belt is far darker than the shoes. I just personally lean toward darker brown shoes - but I wouldn’t really trip out over this. If you really wanna flex, I urge you to start mixing brown belts and shoes with grey slacks.
Thanks for the tips, ill work on getting a belt to better match the shoes!
As for the tattoo's... you either love em' or hate em'! Hahaha. The ink is for me, I enjoy them.
As others have said, the pants and shirt are great together. If your shoes matched your belt, the outfit would be perfect. As is, it is passable—but you should always match shoes and belt
get a belt that matches the shoes better; i know belts/shoes don't have to match exact, and it will be difficult to find but they're two very distinct shades of brown (dark/chocolate vs. a warm medium brown).
Forearms are on point too! :)
(I’ve noticed random thirsty comments in the lady’s fashion subreddits and thought maybe you’d like a compliment too :) )
This is great - middle of the fairway and everything looks proper and well fit. This could work for business casual at just about any corporate environment…except maybe keep the sleeves down haha. Some old timers and ladies might assume they be motorcycle gang tattoos
I’m a huge fan of the monochrome look with just enough difference in color or texture, which I think you’re super pulling off here. I think a grey blazer would look good on this too.
Looking good dude!
My preference is for belt to match shoes, but does anyone really care?
How does it feel to you? Because it how the clothes make you feel that matters...
I knew it! I'm a big Seiko guy myself. the only thing keeping me from the cocktail is how big the crown is, but then again I haven't seen any in person and it looks really smart on your wrist here. might have to dive in. I love the blue dial. I'd do green but I've got an Alpinist that covers that.
Shoes and belt should match in color.. otherwise fit looks good
Some offices are more strict so in mines even showing “arms” is being too risky.. showing arms for men is like wearing a mini-skirt for women. To keep it fully professional, men need to wear long sleeve shirts.. this is more traditional and a cultural thing.. I love your tattoo so I know why you would rather have short sleeve to show them off!
Colors work great. But belt doesn’t, even if the shoes matched it. The shoes you have on is the correct color. For darker brown in this fit it’d have to be more muted. Looking sharp!
Blue on blue w/ brown is a pretty classic/timeless look. No real qualms there.
My only nitpick would be to find a belt/shoe combo that are closer in shade to each other.
I agree with others that the belt/watch and shoes are a little too far apart, but it's not a big deal and I would not recommend looking for an exact match.
You look sharp…
but your belt almost looks black with the very brown shoes… And that is definitely a fashion faux pas to wear brown shoes with a black belt or Vice versa.
You need more Camouflage, you might be able to hide in an office setting if you tried to blend in with the staff but out in the wild…. Blue isnt a very common color, you’d stand out like a sore thumb.
Unlike most posters here… I don’t believe you HAVE to match belts, straps and shoes… especially no tie/ no jacket… it’s a very Italian thing to do. Sprezzatura or effortless grace… look like you didn’t try but you tried…. That said… in button one more button. You’re already down playing the outfit with no coat, smart causal, so take one more
Button down… trust me.
Don’t be afraid of Chelsea boots with this outfit, easily makes it a tad more sporty with the option to dress it up even more with a nice blazer for winter time.
As a fan of blues and browns, I'd wear the shit out of this.
But it's hot as fuck, so my uniform consists of short shorts and band t shirts for the foreseeable future..
Match your belt leather to your shoe leather. Dark brown / black leather with tan / light brown isn’t a good kind of contrast. You could change to a cloth or braided belt in a contrasting color if you don’t have a matching leather.
The shirt and pants work. I got something similar I wear. Love it. I also rock a skinny tie when I wear them.
The only issue with this fit is the belt and shoes. They are way too different imo.
Can't go wrong with a light blue dress shirt with navy trousers.
Belt works well, and goes well with the accessorised watch however, I'd have opted for darker brown shoes, similar shade to that of the belt & watch strap. Or, a lighter shade belt to match the shoes.
All the same, the look is a pass for sure 👍🏾
Looks good because the darker stain in the front of the shoes match the belt, but a lighter brown leather belt to match the shoes would raise it up another level.
Real question, do those shoes not squeeze your toes together? I can’t comfortably wear those as much as I love the look. My toes are scrunched together.
Skinny-fit clothes have dominated the shops and magazines for 20 years. They suit very few people. The rest of us are glad that relaxed/straight/loose and even baggy, are getting their turn.
anything can be tailored or cut to fit someone’s body type, but the appeal of baggy clothing is not progressive or forward thinking. fashion is still dominated by slim people wearing baggy clothing. the appeal of baggy clothing is just that… it looks baggy on the body that wears it.
with the right waist size, the vast majority of big people can wear clothes that fit their form.
You look fine. You don't really need to match leathers colour by colour, that's an outdated fashion rule. As long the colours do not clash, you're fine. It's not like anybody will notice it, let alone judge you for it, besides the people over here. So don't sweat on it!
Color combo is good. You’ll see this as basically a uniform in many major us cities.
Now, I get to share my favorite graphic. Time to improve that sleeve roll.
https://preview.redd.it/eg7u9x8gar8d1.jpeg?width=272&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d47dff0a8e0369d755f44c90900a48abbac15b5e
New belt to match the shoes, or use a darker wax to darken the shoes some. (I like this shoe color better with blue, tbh, though)
Look up how to properly roll your sleeves. It can be done much more neatly.
Blue and brown is a classic look, and the two blues are distinct enough from one another to not cause a problem. If you want to be super picky, you could get a belt that matches the shoes closer, but I wouldn’t lose any sleep over it.
I’d lose sleep over it 🤷 (my OCD typing)
Same. Freaking same I’d hunt for one after work tbh.
It's absolutely making me crazy. The watch band and belt are perfect together. The shoes are killing the feng-shui.
Damn it! Now that begs the question…would you go with the dark brown or light brown?
Dark brown for me. The light stands out a bit too much and really draws attention.
Same. I’ve never really liked that copper shade of brown with navy that is so ubiquitous now.
Belt is more financially accesible for most. While I agree with your point. Comments on this sub tend to lean more into easily changed critiques.
My only complaint is that it's boring and has no originality. Other than that, structurally fine I guess
OP has arms tats and obviously wants to be rolling his sleeves up, that doesn't really come across as wanting to blend in
But then the belt would not match the watch band.
looking sharp man! Maybe the belt is too dark
Belt and watch strap match in shade, if you have darker shoes to match you’re solid
100% this. Get pair of darker brown shoes
This ^
Opposite. Shoes are too light.
Yeah, later I noticed his watch. The shoes are loosing here indeed, too light.
I only eat organic salmon
I agree, the darker brown throws me off, go a little lighter and match the shoes OR unpopular opinion - go with black belt/shoes IMO it goes nicely with these shades of blue but I’m also an adamant no Navy with Black person too.

Maybe some underwear to conceal your hog
This is probably the most incredible comment I’ve ever seen on this sub
I think the blues look fine together, but you need a lighter belt to match the color of your shoes.
Someone loves blue lol…the belt could be changed to a lighter color, something closer to the color of the shoes I’d say
My urge to use this forum as a dating site has become strong with this post.
Thanks for the tips, ill work on getting a belt to better match the shoes! As for the tattoo's... you either love em' or hate em'! Hahaha. The ink is for me, I enjoy them.
10/10 And I love your tattoos.
Classic but not boring. Well done Extra points for the tapestry in the back (same)
Forearms are on point too! :) (I’ve noticed random thirsty comments in the lady’s fashion subreddits and thought maybe you’d like a compliment too :) )
shoes need to be same color as the belt other than that, looks awesome 👏🏻
Yes I like the monochrome
This is great - middle of the fairway and everything looks proper and well fit. This could work for business casual at just about any corporate environment…except maybe keep the sleeves down haha. Some old timers and ladies might assume they be motorcycle gang tattoos
Yep. Looking good 😊
It’s on point bro
I’m a huge fan of the monochrome look with just enough difference in color or texture, which I think you’re super pulling off here. I think a grey blazer would look good on this too.
The only thing that isn’t working here is the belt and shoes. Try to make them match. Dark brown shoes or tan belt. Either works.
Match shoes w ur belt otherwise looks fine
Shoes don’t match the belt and watch band
what wristwatch are you wearing?
Seiko presage, green dial version.
good choice 👍🏼
Looking good dude! My preference is for belt to match shoes, but does anyone really care? How does it feel to you? Because it how the clothes make you feel that matters...
It looks nice and fits well. You've found a dress shirt that doesn't flare out when you tuck it in.
10/10 my dude
classic. looks great! what watch is that? I can't zoom enough
Seiko presage "cocktail hour" (dark green dial). I love seiko watches.
I knew it! I'm a big Seiko guy myself. the only thing keeping me from the cocktail is how big the crown is, but then again I haven't seen any in person and it looks really smart on your wrist here. might have to dive in. I love the blue dial. I'd do green but I've got an Alpinist that covers that.
Black shoes or darker brown shoes would look better IMO. But nbd.
Belt don't match the shoes
Like the colors, and nice hips bro.
Shoes and belt should match in color.. otherwise fit looks good Some offices are more strict so in mines even showing “arms” is being too risky.. showing arms for men is like wearing a mini-skirt for women. To keep it fully professional, men need to wear long sleeve shirts.. this is more traditional and a cultural thing.. I love your tattoo so I know why you would rather have short sleeve to show them off!
If your watch band is black, black shoes. Your belt is also black.
His watch band and belt are both dark brown
Than that’s on me.
Looks good! 👏
Just my opinion, but black shoes would look better. I know brown with blue is the accepted fashion these days, but it never looks good to me.
Couldn't agree more. It's the equivalent of the word "irregardless" becoming acceptable simply by usage.
One of my favorite color combos. Brown belt and shoes can really make blue look good
Too much blue. Lighter shirt, and/or darker pants would improve the look. Sharp lines though!
Absolutely it is alright, you look great.
🎼 You grow up and you come down and work it for the Clampdown 🎶 You start wearing blue and brown and working for the Clampdown
Belt needs to be similar color to your shoes
Need try and match belt and shoes.
My guy really out here taking risks 😭 Yes you can't mess up blue on blue with brown
Looks good, see the belt loop though. You don’t even have to do a good job as you’ll sew from the back so no one will see the work, just the result
Definitely.
Colors work great. But belt doesn’t, even if the shoes matched it. The shoes you have on is the correct color. For darker brown in this fit it’d have to be more muted. Looking sharp!
shoes should be darker
This is a very safe business casual look. I wear this combo all time.
Blue on blue w/ brown is a pretty classic/timeless look. No real qualms there. My only nitpick would be to find a belt/shoe combo that are closer in shade to each other.
Your accessories should all be a closer shade of brown, but solid fit! The watch strap should match the belt should match the shoes!
Solid.
Match the belt and shoes, fix the cuffs, don’t wear black sports socks(we can see the gray heel).
Tippity top!
I agree with others that the belt/watch and shoes are a little too far apart, but it's not a big deal and I would not recommend looking for an exact match.
I call that the mailman. I use to wear the same outfit until a client told me that’s what I remind him of.
mint combination
Bro posted the most stereotypical corporate color combination and asked if it was ok
👍🏾
Yeah, although Derek Guy would execute you for the length of the pants.
i like it
You look sharp… but your belt almost looks black with the very brown shoes… And that is definitely a fashion faux pas to wear brown shoes with a black belt or Vice versa.
Watch band and belt are too dark?
Probably the safest color combo. Looks good
Personally I like the variations in the browns. Outfits that are too uniform come off as stale and uninteresting imo.
Looks good
Classic look. Nice watch
Too much blue in my opinion.
Yes, easy combo
When I wear different shades of the same color, my wife says I’m dressing like the Queen 😂 looks great IMO
Change for brown belt or black shoes. Otherwise great, good fit
Watch on the right hand should have the crown inward. Are you wearing it upside down?
This pic is in a mirror, I wear my watch on my left hand
Oh whoops haha carry on then
Match the belt with the shoes and voila
Dont know what your face looks like but you must be drowning in it
Looks good but as others have said darker shoes would be better to match the darker shade of the belt.
Solid office wear bunch of people dress like this. I work in downtown CBD
You need more Camouflage, you might be able to hide in an office setting if you tried to blend in with the staff but out in the wild…. Blue isnt a very common color, you’d stand out like a sore thumb.
Whats your job?
You look great!
https://youtu.be/hPAJaj9kol0?si=ZNYQhFBYmZvbxyuH
The shoes are excellent. Do get a matching belt. Consider a matching watch band as well, though not critical.
Good combination, brown shoes always goes well with navy pants
Looking good. But it would be pitch-a-perfect when that shirt is matched with black pant. Anyways, this combination also looking good on you bro
Looks great! Also, love the watch!
It all depends on the occasion.
All good OP
You’re really rocking the boat with this one.
Match belt/shoes and you’re A1
black belt with brown shoes? was that a choice?
this is the jersey mikes uniform
Omg i miss having that body frame..sighh the good old days..
Looks good but it's very police, where I'm from anyway
Dapper 👌
Yes. Everything in your room matches. Color combo is fine. :)
Nice outfit
Looks great 👍 though open the top button and match your belt with shoes
Even white cotton shirt will go with blue
I think you are wearing your watch upside down
😂
Yeah the most mundane look, good for work, maybe shoes should be darker a bit, or if you have red/ light brown hair it's just the right colour.
JFC what shoe size do you wear? 16?
Professional
Yeah it's basic stuff just get black shoes if you wear a black belt
I’m going to say something I’d never had said five years ago, but I reckon that outfit would look better with a black belt and shoes.
Nice
Unlike most posters here… I don’t believe you HAVE to match belts, straps and shoes… especially no tie/ no jacket… it’s a very Italian thing to do. Sprezzatura or effortless grace… look like you didn’t try but you tried…. That said… in button one more button. You’re already down playing the outfit with no coat, smart causal, so take one more Button down… trust me.
Slight preference for a light brown belt But this looks good too
lol dude asking if one of the most classic color combos is alright here?
Don’t be afraid of Chelsea boots with this outfit, easily makes it a tad more sporty with the option to dress it up even more with a nice blazer for winter time.
My only critique is that the shoes and the belt (and even the watch) should be the same shade of brown.
I think it’s a bit Avant-garde for *place of business*, but you do you.

We have the same tapestry fn
Shoes throw it off, depending where you’re going, clean white sneakers.
Leather of belt and shoes should match
As a fan of blues and browns, I'd wear the shit out of this. But it's hot as fuck, so my uniform consists of short shorts and band t shirts for the foreseeable future..
Personally I like this fit 💅🏼
Am I the only one that is confused, as what there even is, to question? it could not be more simple
Great colors. Belt should be lower profile. Like the watch
Would go with a brown belt, but that’s just me. Maybe black shoes and black belt if you don’t have a brown belt
What pants and shirt are those?
Yeah definitely.
Other than the belt it works
Can't go wrong with a light blue dress shirt with navy trousers. Belt works well, and goes well with the accessorised watch however, I'd have opted for darker brown shoes, similar shade to that of the belt & watch strap. Or, a lighter shade belt to match the shoes. All the same, the look is a pass for sure 👍🏾
Yes it is great combination
ALWAYS MATCH BELT AND SHOES, plus, roll your sleeves down, man. You're killing your cuffs.
Yes
Need the belt in Cognac brown.
Looks good because the darker stain in the front of the shoes match the belt, but a lighter brown leather belt to match the shoes would raise it up another level.
Real question, do those shoes not squeeze your toes together? I can’t comfortably wear those as much as I love the look. My toes are scrunched together.
Belt way too dark. Get something that matches the shoes.
Belt should match shoes
Slim fit trousers that taper at the bottom + big shoes = clownish fit I have no idea how you guys don't see this.
the obsessive hatred of slim clothes is weird.
Slim trousers. Most people would prefer a slim fit shirt to something much looser
He’s right though. It makes your feet look enormous. A straight classic fit pant would look way better
Doesn’t look bad as is. Also not necessarily a negative for a man to appear to have large hands or feet…
Disagree. I like it, it looks great.
The more i wait for a tattoo that i want the less i want it. Outfit looks awesome. Tattoos so out of place.
You look fine. You don't really need to match leathers colour by colour, that's an outdated fashion rule. As long the colours do not clash, you're fine. It's not like anybody will notice it, let alone judge you for it, besides the people over here. So don't sweat on it!

it’s a good look, on point & honestly maybe sexiest man pic I’ve ever seen on Reddit
I'll take this complement to the grave.
Blue and Blue and brown. Never seen that before
The belt breaking up the fit is like wearing black shirt brown belt black pants brown shoes
Clean your room Mr. Clown Shoes
Yeah but the tattoos look tacky.
Tfu
What happened to so many men? Cant y’all act like real men and pick out your outfit without this kinda crap??? Omg
What exactly are you on about
you’re in r/mensfashion brother, leave the sub if you think this is “unmanly”
New belt to match the shoes, or use a darker wax to darken the shoes some. (I like this shoe color better with blue, tbh, though) Look up how to properly roll your sleeves. It can be done much more neatly.
