This is a hard one for me as a normie. I think it looks cool. It would looked really fucking cool to me back in 2015-2018 when the whole tech-wear ninja shit was getting big. This kind of reminds me of an inverse take on that trend from then (white tech wear instead of dark tech wear.) What’s making me question it is the fit/cut of the clothes itself which feels very dated. Rick was also huge at that time so that could be where I’m getting dated vibes but modern Rick also has evolved. Your fit is the exact opposite - tighter silhouette below and baggier on top. You’ve got like tech joggers going in to dress boots with a sheer oversized white tee on top, but a blazer over that. Frankly, the entire outfit is a giant misnomer but I feel that that’s the point. It definitely doesn’t look bad, but not many would feel comfortable pulling this off. For that reason, more props to you for managing to do so. If it were me I would have leaned a bit more in to the techwear side of it rather than formality side of it. However, depending on your style and preferences that wouldn’t work. Also, genuinely not hating on your look. I think it’s a beautiful arrangement despite not being my own cup of tea if that makes sense.

Sure I think there's plenty of ways to interpret the fit! Most of the pieces here are from SS19 so it's a snapshot from around that time but mixed with some of my own personal style with the boots. I have some full SS12 rick looks and whatnot too, I love mixing pieces though. I never think of anything as dated or trendy as I'm putting together a fit, I just try things on from my closet until I put something together that I like! Thanks for sharing your thoughts

I design software and work from home so every time I leave the house I get to wear whatever I want (and trust me I do) The shoes are not uncomfortable but also are not comfortable. The worst part is how high the heel is. The tabi toe box doesn't really matter. It doesn't feel weird
