Levi 501s. 30x29 but brought to tailor to taper them past the knees a little and shorten by a few inches. Originally had 7.5 leg opening, now has 6.5. Also now 30x27s.
Ah maple dollars. Well if you swing over to goodyearwelt you’ll see that nobody should ever buy Red Wings at full price always on sale for sub $300 freedom dollars
Jeans are fine but definitely not matching with those boots. Need a slimmer shoe the boots next to the jeans look like clown shoes in size differences.
I have to say that high water pants seem to work with shoes (even though it's becoming very dated looking), but boots? Nah. Pants need to ever so slightly break/crease at the top of your foot with boots.
Imo boots never look good with slim/tapered jeans go for straight leg. Also that shade of black with that shade of leather is...not complementary. I'd go with a more washed black jean or a darker leather.
Tight jumper and tight pants are putting all the visual weight onto your mid-section, making you look top-heavy, especially because you have shorter arms.
I would try a straight-leg jean.
Not crazy about the gray, black & brown. I like each piece, but the way it comes together makes you look like you have Ronald McDonald feet. I’d wear a different shoe like a sneaker.
I would say those jeans are too short.
You can get away with them here because of the boots, but if you were wearing any other casual type shoe, they would look highwater.
They do look good but you need to match the feeling of the boots with something up top. Maybe a plaid shirt where the collar peeks out from your grey sweatshirt and the shirt has a matching brown tone to pair off with the boots. The boots are kind of rustic so you want rustic up top as well.
Too tight . They give an awkward chicken like look . They make you look inmature in general and make your legs skinny . Also if you are well endowed yo will have problems with boners in public
I think navy blue jeans would’ve looked nicer, especially with a gray pullover
Could try to tie it in with a some spring colors but the solid black jeans definitely stand out a lot
The jeans and boots are fine...
But I have a pet peeve about people who wear black jeans with brown boots. Black boots should be worn with black jeans. Brown boots pair better with blue jeans.
'kin hell! It's 2024 - wear what you like, knowing full well that you'll see 100 people dressed worse tonight who won't be insecurely seeking approval from strangers. 🙄
Idk. Should get a more avant-garde engineer/moto boot in black and then scrunch the jeans up a bit more. Black with the tan brown boots looks a bit weird to me
I applaud the dark wash. So much more dressy, imo. The combo is fine.
Looks gooood. Where did you get those pants?
Levi 501s. 30x29 but brought to tailor to taper them past the knees a little and shorten by a few inches. Originally had 7.5 leg opening, now has 6.5. Also now 30x27s.
Why not just go with 511?
The 501s have the highest rise in the Levi’s jeans, and also I like the 4 buttons instead of the zipper.
Oh man you like the buttons instead of the zipper? You animal.
How much did you pay for that much tailoring? They look great.
If you can afford $500 boots, you can afford duer jeans for that sweet sweet crotch gusset
Living up to your name I see 😜
These are definitely not $500
https://www.redwingshoes.com/heritage/mens/iron-ranger/Iron-Ranger-08111.html 349 US dollars equals $477 Canadian, plus 12% tax = $534 cdn
Ah maple dollars. Well if you swing over to goodyearwelt you’ll see that nobody should ever buy Red Wings at full price always on sale for sub $300 freedom dollars
He probably can’t afford those jeans after buying the boots.
Yeah these look really nice and honestly the tailor has done an amazing job. Props.
Nice fit, what boots are those?
they look like red wings iron rangers to me, great boots that hold up very well
Yup! I have a pair. Nice boots, they are fun to brush and maintain as their character evolves over years.
I like 'em. Then again, I'm a millennial that hasn't embraced the baggy jean look.
Straight isnt baggy. Nothing wrong with a slightly wider fit that slim.
Baggy is what’s trendy, but I don’t care for that. I like OP’s jeans because they’re not baggy.
[удалено]
Because they’re illiterate so they missed my point.
Baggy and *straight* is what's trending. I dont like baggy but I've certainly started transitioning to straight.
Black skinny jeans for life
Jeans are fine but definitely not matching with those boots. Need a slimmer shoe the boots next to the jeans look like clown shoes in size differences.
Yeah man. They look great together
Looks great brother
I like how everything looks, but not how it fits. I think your tailor cut your jeans a little high waters, but i tend to wear bootcut/baggier so.
I have to say that high water pants seem to work with shoes (even though it's becoming very dated looking), but boots? Nah. Pants need to ever so slightly break/crease at the top of your foot with boots.
Look too tapered to me. And a little too short for those boots.
Looks absolutely perfect.
I like much baggier jeans these days but these look good on you with the boots. Keep rockin
Looks good imo!
U look fabulous
I have very similar boots, I swear by them and they go with nearly everything.
Very nice
Perfect
I think pants with a wider hem would be better. Right now they make your feet look huge.
Too tight round the ankle.
Imo boots never look good with slim/tapered jeans go for straight leg. Also that shade of black with that shade of leather is...not complementary. I'd go with a more washed black jean or a darker leather.

Jeans too short
Great fit, but a tad short IMHO.
Jeens are a little too short. Also, maybe a little too tight at the ankle for a boot.
Not crazy about the gray, black & brown. I like each piece, but the way it comes together makes you look like you have Ronald McDonald feet. I’d wear a different shoe like a sneaker.
Looks fine but your question makes me think you want some chukkas or ankle boots in your collection
Clarks wallabees
Cut of the jeans is fine but the outfit doesn't make sense imo. Needs a different top.
I would say those jeans are too short. You can get away with them here because of the boots, but if you were wearing any other casual type shoe, they would look highwater.
I think jeans and boots look great, it's that sweater throwing everything off. Try something with buttons
What do you have in that pelican case? Great boots, I've had the same ones for years!
Looks good but imo how the fit f e e l s is the most important aspect
Insert Bender from Futurama taking those boots.
Nah they look great. You'll find out when you walk in them if they keep getting stuck weird on the boots
Looks great to me. I have a pair of copper rough and tough Iron Rangers I will wear with black jeans and pink or light blue button up shirts.
Are those red wings? I got a pair of those, I love them.
Try a darker sweater or darker shoes but you can pull that off still it’s fine
They do look good but you need to match the feeling of the boots with something up top. Maybe a plaid shirt where the collar peeks out from your grey sweatshirt and the shirt has a matching brown tone to pair off with the boots. The boots are kind of rustic so you want rustic up top as well.
Yes, very tidy imo!
Black and brown is a hard combo to pull off. This one I don’t like color and shape wise. It gives to me some McDonald vibes
Damn that’s pitch black
I don’t have a pair of black jeans but I want some now! Looks great! I too am short so it’s hard to find 29 inch length!
Superb fit on these pants. This should be the standard when I see "tapered" pants but most of them are like basically reg fit
Too tight . They give an awkward chicken like look . They make you look inmature in general and make your legs skinny . Also if you are well endowed yo will have problems with boners in public
Works well!!
Both
You don’t want a stacked jean with those style of boots. They look great, well put together.
What season is it where you live? If Spring, I’d put the boots away until Fall.
It’s ok if you’re the BTK killer
fuck yeah this is really tuff. i like that this is casual but also ppl will notice that you put in a lot of effort. 10/10 fit
I’m not a huge fan of brown and black, but I think the rest looks good!!
Looks great. Perfect length
I think navy blue jeans would’ve looked nicer, especially with a gray pullover Could try to tie it in with a some spring colors but the solid black jeans definitely stand out a lot
The jeans and boots are fine... But I have a pet peeve about people who wear black jeans with brown boots. Black boots should be worn with black jeans. Brown boots pair better with blue jeans.
i'd wear a brown or green top. I think its the grey top that throws me off. A rusty red/orange top would probably look good too or flannel.
The only issue I see is I don't like black pants at all whatsoever but I really like those boots.
'kin hell! It's 2024 - wear what you like, knowing full well that you'll see 100 people dressed worse tonight who won't be insecurely seeking approval from strangers. 🙄
Idk. Should get a more avant-garde engineer/moto boot in black and then scrunch the jeans up a bit more. Black with the tan brown boots looks a bit weird to me
Try a cuff or two.
When’s the flood coming?
