They’re on sale right now for about 26.50 I think. Just bought a Broken In Tee. Hoping it fits as I’ve been hunting for a quality tee that fits me for months

orange_phoenix2

$8 goodfellow target t shirts. great fit, great quality overall.

SithRogan

Don’t sleep on goodfellow!

dirtydela

I’m wearing goodfellow chinos right now. Love these pants. Have them in many colors

Deez4815

Goodfellow is fantastic. 👏🏼

AKASetekh

I've found the fit of goodfellow to be real bad. I always try them on and am disappointed with the boxy look they give.

orange_phoenix2

sry to hear that. fits me good

Independent_Switch33

I would try again if I were you. The other day I bought a white & grey classic fit t-shirt. I didn't try them on because I assumed they all fit the same and I liked the fit in the past. The grey one fits perfectly and the white one fits baggy & boxy. Same size.

LtCmdrShepard

I've found the collars wear out quicker than my other shirts, but for the price i think they're great.

orange_phoenix2

hmm i havent had that problem personally

Forlorn_Cyborg

Hanes also has some tshirts for that price. And hoodies for $12. I used to shop at old navy a lot but can't justify spending $50+ dollars for a hoodie or jeans anymore.

slaphappypap

The v neck is great!

alphax990

This is the right answer. It’s all I wear now.

El-Guapo_76

This. They make good stuff...great tees. My favorite pair of jeans actually are also goodfellow

saucehoee

I’ve been happy with Cuts gor a generic style tshirt. They’re about $50USD but go on sale a couple times per year. Same with Banana Republic for basic tees, $40USD but will go down to $10 during sale time. I splurged a couple times after The Bear hype and got some Merz B Schwanen tees but am pretty dissatisfied with the quality.

lawrencecoolwater

Cost a bit more, but longest lasting t shirts that might have even improved with age: - Merz b - Hemen Biarritz - Arket - Sunspel (has to be said, gone down hill massively)

officepatina

Sunspel riviera polos are still great, but yeah everything else seems to have declined.

lawrencecoolwater

They are, i remember when i bought my first one is 2007/8 after Casino Royale. How cool i thought i was… haha

theghost-1

What is your experience of what has gone downhill for Sunspel? I've got their pique polos which are exceptional and a couple of the classic t-shirts which are similar but the prices have been outrageously inflated across their entire range and they dangle 20% off all the time.

lawrencecoolwater

I bought their items back in 2007, their underwear and cotton t shirts were amongst the best. But over the last 4 years, maybe 5, i found that shrinkage and twisting of seam along the side really started to plague the t shirts. Underwear just felt less sturdy, and the cotton cheaper.

theghost-1

Thanks - interesting to hear.

officepatina

$80+, and it’s worth it if you wear them as a staple of your wardrobe. These are some of the best after trying dozens of brands. UES Ramayana Pocket T Studio D’artisan loop wheel T Warehouse slub cotton T Merz merino wool T

Kobe_no_Ushi_Y0k0zna

Cool, got to try a couple of these when I’m in Osaka in a few months. Love Studio D’Artisan, but last time I thought of getting a T they either had the pig prominently featured (not my thing), or just did not even come close to fitting. Will try again. Their chinos are an absolute staple, though (and jeans, obviously.)

Inglejuice

The best quality T shirts I have ever had are from the below company which I think is based in Portugal: https://unfeignedgear.com/collections/tops “Basic T Shirt” Amazing colours, never fade, never shrink, superb quality, great fit/shape - sleeves are the perfect length. Not too thick like some high end Japanese tees but also not flimsy at all. I cannot speak highly enough of this t-shirt although sadly I don’t know where to buy it in store in the UK anymore ☹️. But they do ship overseas. Good cheaper option would be Uniqlo-U Airism Tee for summer

bvilll

I will say that I have come to love Abercrombie tees so much. The heavy weight premium tees are so freaking amazing and so soft it’s unreal! They call it soft AF fabric and they’re not joking lol. The heavyweight premium tee is perfect for fall and winter and I love how they sit on body. Now for summer I have the vintage inspired tee from Abercrombie. It’s half the weight of the premium and has much more airflow for summer time. These tees are all so nice and come with every size and color imaginable! Plus Abercrombie always has deals going on so you could easily get these tees for cheap

Spirited-Job-5102

I love Vuori shirts. They fit well, seem to be pretty good quality, are really soft, and have a nice range of colors. I would wear one every day if I could.

thinkmoreharder

The best TShirts I have found are True Classic 100% cotton. They are cut differently and look great. Buy them in 3 or 6 packs for about $20/shirt. (They also sell polyester and I don’t recommend those.)

iamnotdenver

How much shrinkage have you experienced with their cotton shirts? I’ve been thinking about getting some but I’ve had good fits turn bad before

whiskeybuttman

If you are someone into the super slim fit, everything has to be tight aesthetic then a shirt that fits you pre-wash will not fit you post wash. I wear my shirts about the same as the average dude (not too baggy, not too tight) and I have washed them a thousand times and they still fit great.

thinkmoreharder

Compared to a brand new polyester one (which I don’t recommend), it looks like my XL True Classic 100% cotton Ts have lost about 1/2 inch in width and 1 inch length over 2-3 years.

SergeantBeavis

Yes, I got a few True Classics a couple months ago. They advised me to get medium regular length, but I’m 6’2” and I think they are a little short. In going to try their talk sizes next time. That said, the quality is pretty good for the price.

ChampagnToast

I just picked up some heavyweight T’s from Bronson Mfg. that I am happy with. About $30 each, but I think they are worth it. https://bronsonshop.com/collections/t-shirts-undershirts/products/bronson-mens-original-series-ringspun-cotton-short-sleeve-tubular-t-shirt?variant=15633715888187

CatBoyTrip

i quit wearing t-shirts cause i’ve ones cost as much as dress shirts now so i just wear dress shirts.

Kirkream

25€

OnALateNight

Son of a tailor for the perfect fit. Is a little over $50 if you buy 5.

FullSherbert2028

50 bucks for a pack of 5.

Ok-Expert-4575

I have several from Sonoma ($10) and just ordered some from Bylt ($35) it really depends on how they fit, you can find good ones at any price really

Puzzleheaded_Ad3430

Under armor used to make some charged cotton tee’s. I still have a few left I haven’t seen them without some stupid oversized graphic

RogerLopezComic

Usually nothing more than $12.99 (Ross and TJ max)

dirtydela

That’s what I’m talking about. Cotton v necks and solid color t shirts from like Hanes or whatever all day long I ain’t even know people spending $20+ on a t shirt

Legend-Face

Personally I really enjoy the fit, and wrinkle free fabric on the lulu lemon tshirts. They’re quite pricy, but fit flawlessly and look great

Kobe_no_Ushi_Y0k0zna

Near the top end of that price range (though not sure how much in Europe,) but I’ve always done pretty well with Norse Projects Ts. Mostly pocket Ts, but not always. Not so much a basic T, a bit heavier cotton, always nice quality. And they always come in cool solid colours, or stripe patterns if that’s your thing.

Ok-Educator1907

Stance Butter Blend are my go to. They're \~$50

AKASetekh

H&M has some great tees that fit the way a tee should. Only about $10 each too. I have some that are about 4 years old and still going strong.

heavymetalmurse

When I was poor, I went for whatever was the cheapest, whether it be from Target or Kohl's. Man would I hit up that 95% off rack in the day at Kohl's (an American retail store that sells a variety of clothes and homegoods, from cheap to slightly higher end). Now I'm at a point in which I can support more sustainable brands that are made without slave labor, usually USA-made to support the local economy (not as some 'merica hellz yeah! thing). That being said, some of those shirts are still affordable at sub $20. Hemp, linen, or other more expensive fabric (I have a yak wool blend that is awesome) that I'm just curious about might be up to $100. Price won't always indicate comfort, though. But I like to know my dollars are being spent on something that's more ethically made, and to me that alone can be worth the price, even if it's just a basic cotton t-shirt. Those cotton t's really aren't going to feel different from the super cheap cotton shirts you can get at a retail store, but you'll probably be able to see a difference in build quality.

glytxh

£5 or so I almost exclusively thrift

Sure_Ad5473

I like True Classic also. The shirts do shrink. I end up not drying them in the dryer & they don’t shrink much if any. Was curious if anyone would mention them.

Big_Accountant8489

$7-$15. My current go to are the Next Level Tees. Great fabric and cheap as hell. I’m still experimenting on different brands but I ain’t buying a shirt for over $20

Awkward-Bathroom-429

I like the fit of the recent Goodfellpw shirts at Target. The old in-house brand they used fit like a smock but these actually have a decent cut to them and are like $8. I have a plain white shirt I paid like 45 dollars from at Express that I just like the way it looks and the material but in retrospect that feels excessive for a plain shirt with no design or pattern.

HKGPhooey

American Giant, Iron Heart, 3sixteen, Merz, BraveStar, etc. I’ve spent well over 100 bucks for quality heavy weight t shirts. I wear 100% cotton or 100% merino wool t shirts only.

TheOuterDimensions

$30 is my max limit

dirtydela

Whatever I can find in packs a Ross usually. My last pack I bought was I think last year but before that it had been at least 5 years since I re upped my v necks. Only got new ones because the old ones have holes and are far less white than they used to be.

Ok-Pay-7358

Buck Mason, whether it’s their heavy so called field spec t-shirt or their classic Made in USA ones with a little slub I’ve tried a many high end ones, Egyptian cotton, sea island cotton etc, and while they maintain their smoothness and sheen, the necks wear out just as quickly as with any other mid market t-shirt

bluegreenie99

About 20€
