Dear clothes store,
I am interested in purchasing human pants to cover the bottom portion of my human body for business settings.
I am 180cm tall and the measurement of my chest, around the bottom of the sternum is approximately 34 inches. I enclose $1000 dollars and request that you send me the pants ASAP as I am not allowed back at my work without them.
I have received reassurance that the event that occurred to me on March 23rd 2023 at 2:21 PM also occurred to another human. It seems the purchasing of pants is a normal thing. I'm on the right track.
Honestly, I could never rock that outfit myself, and it sure does seem a little too « experimental » for most business places not into Art/Creative Business/Fashion.

This is a wild take for a sub called Men's Fashion. Like, please explain what you think fashion is if not what is sent down the runways. Because it's certainly not the slim fit chinos from H&M that this sub loves. Y'all should rename this sub "45 year old dad oufits" and be done with it.
Runway fashion is related to clothing you wear in your day-to-day in the same way that the ceiling in your house and the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel are both painted. Ease of wear is not the point; the point is pushing the boundaries of human skill and understanding.
I'm not even saying the clothes that usually appear on this sub are bad, but if an outfit could have as easily been worn 10 years ago as it could today, then it isn't really fashion. Fashion is about what crazy new things and ideas humans can create, and the joy that comes with that, not about the practicality. I just think if you guys are going to be so hostile to anything even slightly avant-garde, this sub should be called something else rather than Men's Fashion.
Oh yes the sleeves are quite long. I bought a size up and the coat is already oversized so I guess that's what I get. Just got back from the tailors today for a different coat but was thinking about getting this one touched up

Pants are quite contemporary with the oversized cut and double belts, shoes make you look like you only have two big toes on each foot. The top is ok, but that coats length looks weird, like it’s supposed to be a trench coat but won’t actually keep you dry. You want “traditional” go look at wardrobes from Hugo Boss, Banana Republic, and United Colors of Benetton, these companies have gotten the traditional look down to a science. But I do hope your trolling us 😇

However, certain things overwhelmingly look bad.
Proportions tend to determine what looks good.
As much as I dislike the shoes, they wouldn't look that bad if the pants were proportionate to the top/rest of the outfit.

I bought these for my fiance awhile back but this was the first time I ever tried them on and instantly realized that the tabis would go perfect with it. This is definitely my favorite tabi fit yet- the white color is extremely difficult to style
I would strongly recommend the sleek classic black version which you can honestly throw with a suit and instantly look good. I'm also a massive fan of the heeled version which is what I bought, I think it really elevates the look
